This coffee shop is an absolute gem. The Blossom matcha latte is hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had--perfectly balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet. I'm still thinking about it. I haven't tried the food yet, but everything coming out of the kitchen looks fresh and delicious, so it's definitely next on my list. Bonus points for being kid-friendly too--my kids loved their smoothies, which were fresh and flavorful (and actually finished, which says a lot). Looking for a coffee spot while staying in the area during a rainy Easter Day and landed here. The place so cozy ended up staying for a bit. Ordered Jack of All Trades breakfast sandwich , Nocturne specialty Latte and chocolate croissant. The sandwich was huge and soooo tasty, no questions for the latte and croissant. Awesome people behind the counter who took the time to recommend things. I would definitely be back here to try other items and other specialty lattes as well! read more

It was a cool little spot. Not really a lot of seating af limited outlets. A bit overpriced in my opinion too. My chocolate croissant was $5. For a singular pastry. The staff were nice but they need curtains or something. Located in a pretty nondescript little center, De Clieu is a nice coffee shop with a relaxing atmosphere, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a good selection of food and drink. I really appreciated that they music they played was mellow and at a low volume so it was easy to chat or to focus. The menu is pretty extensive. When we went, we tried the coconut mocha and the mango smoothie which were both very good. The smoothie had a lot of mango flavor and I appreciated that the coffee was hot and not lukewarm as seems to be the case in many places. The cinnamon scone was good as well and it was nice that they warmed it up. The super club was very satisfying and big enough to share. The bread was good and the mayo and jalapeno gave it a great consistency and flavor. We would definitely come back. read more

We were in Reston pretty early and decided to grab breakfast. This was super close to where we needed to be so we stopped in. My husband went in while I waited with our pup. It didn't take too long. My husband wanted an espresso but their machine was down? So he ordered a regular coffee. We also got breakfast sandwiches (avocado, egg, cheese, bacon for him and eggs & cheese for me), a cinnamon roll, a cinnamon scone, and oatmeal. He said the coffee was fine, hopefully next time he can get an espresso. The sandwiches were delicious. It came on brioche bread and it was super soft. The egg was very fluffy. I enjoyed the oatmeal, it was a little sweet for my taste but still enjoyable. The cinnamon roll was delicious. It came warmed up too! It's a really nice addition to the area, and we'll definitely be back. Plenty of parking and really cute decor. read more

Adding a star for stellar service from the one Asian girl at the front :) I haven't found my favorite latte from here yet, but I just love the aesthetics at this location. The beautiful real pothos and English (?) ivy hanging from the ceiling. Large enough seating and outdoor seating to chill. Came in on a Friday morning to do some work and try a new latte. The Beach Paradise is so beautiful--it has a blue, light tan, and light brown which is so aesthetic and I see why it's called Beach Paradise. I didn't love the coconut and banana but I did love how pretty it was. I certainly enjoy a good and hearty sandwich from them as well. read more

Terrible place if you want to eat. It takes 45 minutes minimum for them to heat up a cinnamon roll and are rude about it if you ask when it will be ready. This morning, I waited 20 minutes for a pick up order without them even acknowledging I was there. When I finally asked about my order, they said it wasn't ready. When I asked how much longer, they repeated in a harsher tone IT ISNT READY. They weren't even making the order, just standing around looking at the orders piling up. Very incompetent. read more

Opened today in what used to ge a dry cleaner near the 7-11. Lots of seating inside with windows allowing lots of natural light. And yes free WiFi available! Besides lots of coffee, espresso, and tea options... they also offer bakery goodies, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches all served all day. Hiding over where you pick up your coffee are the gelato options. Nice option as they also had fresh mango and strawberries there as well. Real plants dot the ceiling which I like that they brought the outside in. Place echoes but so some additional sound dampening would be nice. Chairs are hard metal but there are some cushions about... to be honest I wish all chairs had cushions. Appears they have space for some outdoor seating but didn't notice anything yet. Hubby dies kids temp and no foam on his latte. That needs a bit of work as one should scrap off the resulting fish plus their temp still a bit too hot. Just commenting as this is easily fixed. Hubby also likes agave as his sweetener which they don't have but we are used to carrying our sun for this reason. Again just a comment for those interested. Right now hours are 7 to 5. Parking can get tight at times in this lot. There is also street parking. We live just around the corner so I'm hoping to do some walking. Need to justify the tasty cinnamon roll with icing I saw in the case. Glad they are open... looking forward to front a frequent customer! read more

This place is exactly what Reston needed! There are no good local coffee shops in the area and I've been so excited for it to open! We went twice during their soft opening week and both experiences were great! I tried the yuzu orange latte and the flavor really brought the coffee taste out. It was not the flavor for me but I could see others really liking the drink. I've tried a few muffins, sandwiches and vanilla latte and those were all amazing! The staff has been welcoming and so pleasant during both visits. The service is quick! I can't wait to keep coming! read more

Today, May 6th, was the "soft opening" of the new De Clieu location in Reston. The new cafe was busy, but had plenty of staff working and there was no wait for ordering at lunch time. All the staff were friendly and helpful. All the sandwich's were ordered were served warm which was a nice surprise. The sandwiches are cut in half Korean style with the wrapper around each half. The black coffee was strong and good. a little pricey, but with it. We are happy to have this new location open in Reston. I hope they continue to do exceptionally well here. read more

love it already! After believing it was just alright from trying their coffee back at their Fairfax location a year ago, I went back to DeClieu to try their reston location and omg, it was amazing! We got their matcha latte, croissant, and cinnamon roll and all were delicious! Their matcha was probably one of the best matchas we have had in the DMV! Their croissant is crispy, and their homemade rolls were fluffy and sweet! The inside was clean, new customers, and the staff were working hard and efficient! Def recommend this place! No complaints about getting breakfast here. I had the banana coconut latte which was not too sweet and you could really taste the banana and coconut. My husband and I split the spicy sausage breakfast sandwich and the one with bacon and sausage. I really enjoyed the spicy one but would maybe just ask for the spicy sauce on the bacon and sausage one. The pita bread was really soft though so I feel torn on what I would get next time. what a cute cafe! very similar to the fairfax location in many aspects. i believe the menu is the same. the seating options were plenty for daytime on a weekday. baristas were super sweet and service was fast. i got my drink within a minute of ordering! grabbed a peach lemonade and was pleasantly surprised that they used real fruit chunks inside. probably the best peach lemonade i've ever had. i ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese for my food item. the bagel was so hard to bite into and chew, although it was not toasted that much. i would just opt for one of their sandwiches next time. parking situation is tricky though, the lot is shared with other businesses and only hold approx. 20 cars. you will probably have to parallel park on the street. read more

The cinnamon scone was one of the best treats I have had in months, great chai tea and the bagels were wonderful!!! This is a don't miss spot! Coffee is good but is served lukewarm. Needs to be hotter. More importantly, they do NOT serve in mugs when having it there. Coffee mugs are a critical part of the coffee experience, and drinking it in to go paper cups just ain't the same. read more

Seriously disappointing. Living within a short walk on the trail system, we were thrilled to see De Clieu opening! However, breakfast was most disappointing. We ordered Eggacado sandwiches. 1. The 'bagel' was soft like Kleenex bread, nothing like a bagel (and there is an outstanding bagel shop in North Reston). 2. The bacon was thin and not crisp - didn't seem like very much of it. 3. The egg looked like it was a prefab round. The sandwich seemed like it had been heated in a microwave. The coffee was OK - nothing special. The service was mixed: my wife was given misinformation about milk for coffee: told it was on the side board (where there was only half and half) and then told no low fat milk...but then told to go to coffee order end, which she did, where she was told she should have ordered low fat! When she was told she should add herself when ordered. Confusion! She got her low fat, but not graciously. The location is great, the ambiance is very nice - good coffee house feel, outside space for good weather. We really wanted De Clieu to be special, but it wasn't. read more
