    Fish (cod) and chips
    Miller G.

Good spot for fish and chips. It is a pretty simple concept, and I like that it is a fairly simple menu with everything made to order. The location was clean, easy to figure out the ordering process, and had friendly / good service. I got the fish (cod) and chips. I thought the fish (and the batter) were excellent. The fries were good too, and I thought that the style of fry complimented the fish well. I left feeling full and that it was a good value. I would return if I was in the mood for fish and chips or in the area. One wish would be for silverware. There were only plastic forks and knives available. It would have been nice to have metal silverware as I was sitting down there to eat.

This place has better fish and chips than London, stat! Whether you're a solo diner or hanging out with friends, you'll be impressed by the food. The batter on the fish is soooooooo light yet it's still crispy and maintains the shape and curve around the filet, it's incredible! I'd be happy with just the fries and cod but hubby got the combo. I remember enjoying the other seafood. Wouldn't doubt if needing another serving of the tartar sauce because it's so delicious! Wash everything down with a clam chowder, it's a must try! We came with friends and stayed to play some darts. GB's has got the fun elements of a club minus the noise. You'll be well taken care of here, the staff is so personable and they know their menu, which was a big plus if you end up having to ask for recommendations! Love GB Fish & Chips!!!

The best CURRY SAUCE I have ever had! Growing up in England, fish and chips was a Friday night tradition especially with my grandparents- finding good fish & chips is hard here, but when we made the move from california to colorado- some friends recommended this place! The best fish and chips I have found here in the States! So delicious! Also the newspaper having a nod to Warrington was a huge plus for me considering that is where I was born! We actually did a DoorDash order and the fact that the food tasted so fresh and hot was a huge plus, cannot wait to visit in person!!!!

I passed this place a few weeks ago and told myself I had to stop by. The name caught my attention. The staff were pretty helpful and knowledgeable on the recommendations. They had games for families to play at the table and a nice outside table section it's right across the street from the water so I know it's a vibe in the spring and summer time. I substituted the scallops for oysters for the combination meal. I have to say this place brought me back to the "Long John Silver" days as a child but it was much more flavorful and the sauces were excellent. The drinks were more refreshing than they were strong. Next time I would recommend a double shot. The dessert was ok. The cheesecake had an orange flavored base to it that I wasn't too hyped about but I added the caramel from the bread pudding and that gave it more flavor. All in all I give this place a 8.2/10 I'll definitely be back!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! If you love fish and chips or clam chowder then this is a place you need to check out. Light crispy batter on the fish is perfect and they have pretty decent size portions. The only thing is the fish is a little expensive, but they do have different fish options and deals on certain days. I will definitely be back!

The food was good and I like that they keep things simple: order at the counter and pick up. There are also some alcoholic options with the food so that's great although this place doesn't look or feel like a pub. Comparing the fish and chips in the UK, the food is slightly different, for example the fish chunks in the UK are much bigger and the sides are different but overall I liked this place.

Did not disappoint. These people do fish and chips and the serving size was worth enormous. I got a full plate serving of the cod and it was made after I ordered it and came out very fast. Ambience was ok, nothing crazy but I was there for the food and it was on point.

    Building opposite Sloan's Lake

First time at this location on Sheridan Blvd opposite Sloan's Lake in Edgewater. This location is larger than the S Broadway place. They have plenty of parking. Lots of picnic tables on the south and east sides for al fresco dining. There is a full bar! They offer daily specials. I came for an half order of fried cod (3 pieces) + ice tea. The iced tea had just been brewed. Nice hot fish with plenty of condiments. I sprinkled my fish with lemon juice and malt vinegar. I skipped the tartR sauce. Quite good for a snack. I ordered at the counter. The person said my order would be ready in 7 minutes and he was right.

Tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint! Every time I walk at Sloans Lake I always think to myself that I want to try the fish and chips place one day. My friends and I decided to go after a Sloans Lake walk. I got the Cod half meal which came with 3 pieces of fish, fries, and a drink. It was a good portion of food for a half meal and I was super full after. The fish was cooked perfectly and super crispy! I was amazed how fresh the fish was for being in Colorado. I will be coming back!

Honestly probably the best fish and chips I've ever had outside San Diego. The crisp was a perfect fry. I couldn't even begin to eat the whole thing so I got a to go box and to my surprise after throwing it in the air fryer it crisped back up to perfection. This will be added to my list to eat if not every week, every other week! And the outside over looks Sloan lake so it's like the best view ever

tiny tiny mashed potatoes with lack of seasoning and tiny box of food , more a snack/appetizer - not a dinner

fish was okay but $22 good for 3 pieces and bland mediocre tony portion of mashed potaotes. they are mashed potatoes- come on - needs to be bigger than a pudding cup. potatoes lacked seasoning and any richness. cant recommend this place solely on the cost, not a good value- this was $20 for an appetizer not a dinner.

    Chicken curry pastor and fries

I ordered the chicken curry pastie. It was the most delicious meal! The pastry was so flaky. The chicken, peas and carrots were so yummy especially when dipped in the curry sauce. Delicious fries too! I was visiting Denver, Colorado from Boston. I wish we had one near me!

The full portion of fish and chips. Could probably feed two!

Soggy fish and prawns, and the most bland, and over cooked French fries. Small portion for $11 too.

I got the scallops with a side of 3 red potatoes with no flavorings. As if this was not already a sub par meal, the waitstaff were extremely slow and seemed to be in no rush to wait on me. $45.00 including tip ( I'm not a bad sport) For a lack luster attempt at Cajun cuisine. We like trying the small plates or specials too, they are all very tasty. Kin Nori has some delicious bites but I would say it is a bit on the pricey side. If you can stop yourself with just a few temakis during happy hour or have self control, it wouldn't be so bad. I just really like sushi so had to order a few more items - so yummy though!

I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Walk with us: 5/5 Banchan style servings or tapas as I'm so used to... are ways of giving you the chefs vision of a story they want to paint with food. A taste so unique that I will say... only gets better as you keep going down this experience. Starters throughout the experience have so much flavor and textures that complement each other. The entrees... they get so much better.... Short rib Wagyu galbi that's so scrumptious and a Korean fried chicken that's crispy as can be with a perfectly cooked chicken through and through that's moist and just the perfect definition of a k-fried chicken!
