Music City Hot Chicken was recommended to us when we were visiting Denver and the fact that Trve Brewery was in the same building made a visit here a no brainer. You go to the very back to place your order and when it's done, you simply grab it and take it back to your seat. While waiting, I suggest that you grab a beer. The individual who helped us was very nice and the service was fast. I went with the tenders. You also choose the heat level so I went with Nashville hot. They were delicious. Super moist and the heat was nice. Not super overpowering or overwhelming. Just a nice burn and good flavor. And the breading was good too. My boyfriend tried the chicken and waffles which is on the brunch menu and is available on Saturdays and Sundays. It was served with honey butter and fireball syrup. He loved it and has regularly commented that he wants more chicken and waffles since we've returned. We also went with a couple of sides-fries and Mac and cheese. And a variety of dipping sauces-house, ranch, and honey mustard. The Mac and cheese was the least favorite of the two. We had three people in our party and we all agreed that the sauce was a bit thin and we'd probably not order this side again. The fries however, were awesome. They are the super thick puffy cut that you never see anymore. Definitely get some! The ranch and honey mustard were completely overshadowed by the house sauce. The house sauce was a little smokey, a little spicy, and a little sweet with Smoked tomatoes, chipotle, and lime. This sauce with the hot chicken and fries was perfection. If you live in the area definitely check them out. I will be jealous in KC while I await my next trip to Denver.

Great service. My food was to go, as with everything fried, the fresher the better. I did reheat in the air fryer when I got home. The chicken was good. The slaw was a little bland. I'll have to eat in next time to give a more accurate review. I'd like to try the mac and cheese and fries as sides next time.

This place is located inside TRVE Brewing. We were welcomed and the staff was pleasant. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich at the "HOT-bit of burn" level. I ordered the "Green Chili Blend-some heat" for my 4-piece tenders. He really enjoyed his sandwich. My tenders, on the other hand, were so hot, I just boxed them up after one to take them home. I had him try one and he asked why I ordered a hotter spice than his and I explained the one I picked was less than his. I guess the "some heat" level was beyond my range. The green chili blend looked like a blackened seasoning in the light when I got home. It is quite dim in TRVE where MCHC is located. Unfortunately I'll leave this place to my hubby in the future. It was not for me.

Phenomenal hot chicken place inside Trve brewing! I ordered online from the QR code and just went to the counter to pick iron up when it was ready. Loved their brunch menu, it paired perfectly with Trve beers. The Nashville hot had a GREAT kick! More than I expected. It was so good, and I was in love with the raspberry pepper jam. It added a great sweetness with the kick of Nashville hot, my mouth didn't stop watering. My boyfriend's Hot Mess sandwich was also amazing! The potatoes were very crispy, flavored great. The sandwiches were huge, we regretted eating it all but we couldn't stop. You have to come here! Inside of Trve is metal themed but it's got plenty of sunlight and the vibe is just chill.

Woah, I haven't reviewed Music City Hot Chicken? Shame on me. This easily has to be some of the best hot chicken in the city. Why? It's actually hot! I'm getting sick and tired of every restaurant in town putting a hot chicken sandwich on the menu and it possessing barely any heat. Hot chicken is hot chicken. Let's keep it that way! Best of all, Music City Hot Chicken is located inside one of my favorite places, TRVE Brewing. Hot chicken, beer and metal? Sign me up. AND CARVE SLAYER INTO YOUR FOREARMS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT. Service is quick. You order at the counter and in 10 minutes you pick up your food and enjoy. Music City's forte are their hot chicken tenders. If you can't handle the heat they have lower levels of spiciness. Also I'm pretty sure they make their own sauces, and it makes all the difference in the world. Don't sleep on this humble slice of hot chicken heaven.

I was just headed to the thrift store next door, but I had to stop in for some hot chicken and Viking themed beer. The chicken - Nashville hot - was just exactly hot enough. Almost regretfully hot; makes you appreciate your beer! The music - some kind of blasting metal punk - wasn't my thing but thumbs up to them anyway for playing it. Staff were all cool.

We came here while in town visiting. I'm a fan of Nashville hot chicken places and this one popped up. I ordered 3 tenders Nashville hot with a side of Mac n cheese. The Nashville hot was like a dry rub with a mixture of sweet and spicy , so not too hot. The Mac n cheese could've been better. They also had a bar inside selling beer. The customer service was great and the food came out really quick. Only downsides is gotta find parking on the street and it was very dark in there during the day.

Fingers, gf fingers, slaw, sweet potatoe gf, gf draft ipa!!!! Dbl hop ipa, silly delic hm n pretty sure housemate pickles.

This is by far the best hot chicken I've ever had, close to Hattie B's Nashville. Their Nashville hot is survivable, the white hot starts attacking ur tongue n if u pay the xtra buck for the hottest one, order a coleslaw bc the taste is delicious n the heat, well it punches a kick! Love the goth aesthetic. I don't even drink beer but I do when I come here. Trve brewery beers are good. Just go! (They do brunch on the wknds, so ckn n waffles if that's ur style, way better here then those uppity mimosa tower establishments, but do u)

The chicken here is such a hit with my kids when I bring home leftovers that we've ordered it a few times. I love meeting here to try their specials while trying out the beers at TRVE too. My friend and I loved their Thanksgiving sandwich special!

    Terrible photo but EXCELLENT food!

Very good hot chicken! They embody the Nashville style with merciless flavor, crawnch, and heat. We ordered the green chile and white hot spice levels-right below and above "Nashville hot" on their menu respectively. Green chile has a great kick, white hot had a lingering heat but worth every bite because it's so crisp and juicy! Very cool atmosphere at the bar and really nice and patient staff.

The prices on everything keep creeping up while the quality goes down. I understand food inflation, but coupled with declining quality I'm just no longer a regular customer anymore. The last 3 times I've gone, the fries were very brown on the outside but not overcooked, indicating the oil was old and needed to be changed, this gives them an off flavor that's not good. When done right, their fries are fantastic, however this is a regular issue now. Also, they changed their burger in the past year, something I used to order a bunch, but not at all anymore. It used to be a grass fed patty and now they call this a wagyu blend, but it's awful and tasteless compared to the old one. Additionally, their wings (for some reason only when getting to-go) are either way over sauced, sitting in a pool of sauce and thus get soggy or they're under-sauced. The issue with the oil is really what gets me though. I'm guessing they're dragging it out longer before changing it to save money, but they're doing it at the cost of quality and now they've lost a regular customer. I may revisit next year, but not anytime soon. Employees are relatively friendly and service is ok, ambience is typical of a wing joint.

I told her I was making sure there was an outlet before I ordered anything and she responds, "there's one over there and over there for paying customers." I just got there. There's no reason for her to assume I intended to just sit there, but even if I was, is the disrespect and hostility warranted? Couldn't tell you how the drinks are because I left. The last thing I need is to be paying too much for a beer while getting hate from someone I did nothing offensive to. Night Owl is great and the blonde bartender there has an incredible memory, very attentive, and has always been welcoming.
