This was my second visit, and it was a fun spot for a birthday celebration! The happy hour offers great deals, and all the food was really tasty. The food was especially good during my first visit, but it was less impressive this time. The shrimp was very dry and lacked flavor. Although the food took a while to arrive, our server was amazing. We enjoyed karaoke night, and it was awesome to have the entire upper floor to ourselves! Just a heads up: parking can be limited at the back of the restaurant. We will definitely be back! read more

A bad experience. It is extremely noisy--it feels more like a Sinaloan carnival than a restaurant. The chef sends out whatever he feels like, rather than what you actually ordered; furthermore, the food arrives cold and appears to have been cooked hours in advance, rather than being freshly prepared. Additionally, many of the drinks listed on the menu are unavailable. If you decide to visit this place, be prepared for a poor experience regarding the food; the waitstaff, however, does a good job. My experience at Capris Seafood Bar was beyond any expectation I had for it. I remembered a pizza placed used to be here, but went out of business about two years ago and it took a while for something to take its place. If I'm not mistaken capris opened up a couple months ago in February. I pass by it all the time though and finally decided to stop in. I was greet by a lovely hostess/waitress who sat me at a table on the main wall with a beautiful octopus mural. She brought me my Pepsi quickly and was patient while I decided on what I wanted from their massive menu. Honestly, she was beyond sweet and helpful and was kicking the language barriers ass. I finally decided on the Marino mocajete and it was soooo yummy and reallly hit the spot. I mean, I was beyond satisfied with it. The happy hour menu was extensive, and they led us through their offerings. Diego was kind, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while we dined. Here's the Capri Hour lowdown: The Margaritas were only $5.99. We tried the Strawberry & Mango - vibrant colors & delicious taste. I would order both of these again. From the regular menu, they had a selection of craft cocktails with impressive presentation. The Happy Hour Tacos were only $3.99 and we had the choice of Battered Fish, Skirt Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Octopus, or Potato. Our favorite tacos were the Battered Fish. The battered fish had a crispy, golden-brown exterior & the inside was tender and flaky. The fish paired perfectly with the spicy aioli. The Tostadas were $4.99. The Shrimp Aguachile was a hit - fresh with zing. Shrimp Quesadilla & other specialties were only $3.99. Came here on a Saturday at 6pm and the place was almost empty. Capri is clearly trying to be hip and trendy, but the execution felt off--more budget-trendy than actual stylish. Even the bar shelves looked half-stocked, which didn't exactly set the mood. Service was rough. Our server didn't seem familiar with the menu and struggled to communicate, which is a bad start. We tried the oysters with a ceviche-style topping--meh, nothing special. I ordered the seafood pasta expecting something like shrimp fra diavolo (spicy red sauce). Instead, I got clumpy fettuccine in a spicy Alfredo. Not terrible, but definitely misleading, especially since Alfredo already shows up elsewhere on the menu. And for a "seafood bar," the menu felt limited, with random sushi tossed in. Overall: underwhelming food, mismatched ambiance, and a weird vibe. The nail in the coffin? I tripped on their landscaping as we left, sliced my toes on an exposed piece of metal, and bled all the way back for the car. Not exactly the send-off you want after dinner. Capri wants to be cool and modern, but comes across awkward and unfinished. Between mediocre food, lackluster service, and literal safety hazards, I'm doubtful this spot will last. read more

I am happy to report this new spot right off of I25 and 38th (Fox St) is an amazing addition to the Denver food scene! Everything we had was delicious! Tried it after Titanic exhibit, interesting menu We had the crab rolls to start, they were excellent. I had the Seafood Soup, which was also excellent, it had tons of seafood, it had a nice spice to it. My wife had a seafood pasta with a spicy tomato based sauce, also very good. Bar menu had a lot of creative drinks, but Weren't familiar with a basic dry martini, they didn't have any lemons for a twist. Service was great and would definitely try again read more

We absolutely loved our experience here! First we came for just drinks, then we finally made it back for dinner tonight. Where do I begin.... First when you walk in everyone is so kind, and the aesthetic is so cute! Our drinks were incredible, ordered a Sandi Breeze and just a house margarita. We then started with sushi, which let me tell you.... Don't pass it up. It's not your traditional sushi, but it was amazing! We tried the Rocka Sushi! And for our entrees we all were apart of the clean plate club!! Black as night pasta, ruby salmon a burrata salad and some popcorn shrimp! It's so hard to find a restaurant that's so creative and amazing that delivers to Lafayette, but Coptic fits the bill!

The food here is amazing. We've been waiting all summer for this place to open. It was worth the wait. Atmosphere is incredible. Service was excellent. And the, to die for. Our favorite appetizers were the crab rolls and fried tuna. They were so good. The seafood tower was huge and don't skip the gobernator tacos are a must have. Our big surprise was the steak. Cooked perfectly and worth every penny. We'll be back and we're bringing more friends. read more

we came for a birthday reservation of 11 people. the service was very slow and non-communicative. The appetizers were good. The entrees took 1 hour to come out and several items were delivered midway through the meal (some people were done eating before others even received their meal). At the time we arrived we were the only large party and there were two other small groups (3 or less). The food was overcooked, the servers had to be flagged down, and were not accommodating. when we advised the server the food was overcooked he stated "i know". I hope this place gets better as it's open longer. It has potential. However, my husband I were contemplating if we had covid or not because everything we ate was severely lacking in flavor. Our server asked if we needed a box since we only ate 2 bites of the ceviche, we told him we actually did not like it all and it had no flavor, he just smiled and nodded and took the plate.
