We were passing through from out of town and Pier 8 was just what the doctor ordered! We sat at the bar and had an awesome waitress - then ordered a crab leg, shrimp, and crawfish boil. It came with about six potatoes and three years of corn, and plenty of food for just $67. It was perfectly cooked, tasted delicious and I would definitely return! We then ordered the beignets for dessert which were not traditional, but tasted amazing as well. If you are in town or live near Pier 8, I would highly recommend going in. Our terrible servers name was Ash. I highly recommend you do not keep her On board because if you do, you will probably lose more customers. We just left and are heading to Hook and real. We Have eaten at this is establishment many times. My husband doesn't always order the all you can eat. I don't eat the all you can eat, my husband does. I order a full meal of my own and had ordered a full meal on my own and when my husband went to order his all you can eat our terrible server Ash, said both of us had to get the all you can eat in order for him to have it. Overall, things were just OK. The bartender was extremely nice and attentive, the place was a little empty, the oysters I had were delicious, but the rolls seems to be where they fail. I was there by myself so I did not decide to get the all-you-can-eat or the boil, I went with the crab meat roll. When it came out, it looked fine, but what I found out was they use the shredded crab meat, similar to what you get in a sushi roll, and very little of it, the roll was lettuce that filled half the roll a small amount of shredded, fake crab meat, and then a whole lot of their cage and seasoning. Came here early afternoon on with my sister and there were only a few tables seated. Our waiter was so good and funny. He came over to ask if we wanted bibs and noticed that I had put a napkin there, we all laughed and he brought some over. I think that the amount is good for the price! The spice that they use are their house blend is unique, it has a bbq-y flavor. Not my favorite but still pretty good. The entire restaurant is covered with amazing decor. My first experience with Pier 8 was in December 2024 in which we did a take out seafood boil- and it did not disappoint! Having lived on the East coast I can be pretty picky about my seafood, so I was worried with location (Colorado) that it would be fishy and awful but it was great quality with excellent flavor / spices. We returned March 2025 to eat inside (4 of us) and we all did the all you can eat option. The website / menu says everyone at the table must order all you can eat but the servers said that is no longer true- but all four of us went for it anyway bc we wore our stretchy pants for this event. If you easily put away shellfish than this is the choice for you- it was SO WORTH IT. Unfortunately no pix bc messy hands, but dang. I was not disappointed and had no regrets about eating to my little hearts' desire. Don't be fooled, this AYCE includes appetizers, Po Boys, sides and desserts. Of note, they do have a limit on the amount of crabs you can order and there is no lobster, but everything else was GAME ON including steamed and raw oysters. The hosts and server also did a great job and were very attentive. Apparently if it is a birthday, there will be dancing shark situation too (it was cute and fun). Yet another seafood boil joint. The more these open up, the less character each carries. At least Pier 8's decoration has you think you might be visiting an aquarium. It's spacious, servers are friendly. The food was just OK. The most impressive is the act of bringing out the cajun boil, in a super inflated bag full of steam. I wish we had ordered more noodles (spaghetti) as that soak up most of the sauces and is greasy and tasty. Even the potatoes and corns were not soft as I'm used to. The food was delicious the family (Wife and Two boys 12 & 10) order the Double Double and it was delicious a ton of food. Was driving by and decided to try this place. I enjoy seafood boils and saw they have a lunch special for half a pound of two different items for $15.99 which sounded like a great deal. I got half pound of shrimp with heads off and crawfish with a spicy house special sauce. It was a good amount of spiciness and garlicky. My food came out within 5-10 min of ordering and service was quick! The waitress brought out water right away, checked on me a few times and the other waiters and waitresses were also friendly. It's nice to see a boil place NW of Denver! Pier 8 has been opened for about a year, and this was our first time dining. They do offer an AYCE option, but we just opted for a la carte. The calamity starter was great! I really enjoyed the batter and seasoning. As for the boils, you can either build your own or choose any of the combos. Note: the combos are not interchangeable, so if there's something you didn't like, you cannot substitute. I thought the Captain Feast was a good portion for 2 to share. We opted for the house special blend and spicy; I think we could try fire next time. The sauce itself isn't too buttery like other places. I think it would have been better if it was saucier too. A few things we tried were: Fried pickles, no taste and whatever the dipping sauce that comes with it was gross.
