I very much appreciated that it was a single restroom, not the room filed w stalls. The service/memorial room was big and they had separated the chairs in to w sections...so only having to walk in front of four people versus eight. A small parking lot, but I had arrived early. It's a nice touch that there are a few benches out front, under the carport so if you need to take some time outside. When I left I circled over to the other side of the room to look at pictures and exited the room through the south door...very nice that that room was used for desserts. They handled every detail with such care, compassion, and patience. We primarily worked with Melanie. She was mindful of special touches that the deceased would have loved and that brought much comfort to the living spouse. While I hope I will not need to use their services again, I hope this review is helpful to anyone finding themselves in the same, sudden position I was in.

Look into other cemeteries. This place does not take care of…read moreanything here and getting them to fix things that they break is like pulling teeth. They knocked the date of a loved ones death, off of their headstone when they mowed earlier this spring, and after countless requests to have them fix it, they STILL have not fixed it and keep ensuring they will, months later. They also hang cheap flower holders on expensive plaques in the mausoleum, and hanging them makes the plaque go crooked over time cause it doesn't fit right and it looks terrible now that it's crooked but they won't do anything. Look into other cemeteries that care and maintain your loved ones plots, Morningside does not care anymore and are not worth your business.

I had stopped here roughly six months ago, cold...winter. The fellow gave me a map and very…read moredescriptively told me where to find the plot. I never found it, left defeated. Today I returned, to give it another try. I walked in, told the fellow I had this map and "I think it was you, there was something about a tree". Employee "well you have the map, do you mind taking me out there?" Mel sure that would be great!!! So we hopped in my truck, he told me where to turn and to park just beyond the tree, we hopped out and he walked straight to the plot...under another tree!!! I told him "I'm trying to memorize where we're going and I'll being taking pictures of location identifiers!" Such wonderful customer service!!! We had services of cremation and flowers of our mother. Her urn and flowers were to be brought to…read moreus around 9:30. Visitation.to start at 10AM service at 11. We started to worry about 10 ( why were we put in the situation of worry -shouldn't it be grief?) We called and the person who answered said she would call dispatch and it was a very busy morning. They delivered our mother around 10:30 without the flowers which came about 15 minutes later. Our mother only has one funeral, and it was a disaster. Most of our guests were unable to see her and pay their respects before the celebration of life started, no urn no flowers. When talking to the person that my brother got passed to the next day Was very apologetic so sorry so sorry blah blah he said he would credit us $190 out of $4700. That's how sorry they were, unacceptable and unbelievable, and he said he would pass it on to the owners. please consider going elsewhere when you pass on the care of your loved ones for their final celebration.
