Wow. GEDEON'S EMAIL GOT HACKED, and on February 11, 2026, I received an email directly from the hacker using Gedeon's email. All our personal and sensitive information are exposed. Imagine what level of personal information are given when you are doing tax returns. Gedeon has done absolutely nothing to protect us or address the situation. There has been no acknowledgment of data leaks, no answers to phone calls- nothing. This is such a dangerous, unprofessional business. read more

Marc is excellent!! I was in a slight tax kerfuffle with my spouse who lived overseas. My previous CPA was a bit of a knick-knack-gobsh!te when it came to this and got me in a mess for 5-6 months. Getting her an ITIN number was like searching for the Holy Grail. Along came Marc and in 2 minutes he goes through everything with me and my problems is solved in a few days. 1/2 hour consultation is $275. It was $150 two years ago. The inflation has not been that high. There is no mention of the consultation fee on their website. They have an option to book a consultation on their website, and even when booking a consultation they do not mention the fee. This is unethical. I don't want to have someone unethical dealing with my finances so that was a no-go. read more

Marc filed my taxes erroneously which has in turn cost me WELL OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS, for his mistake. I communicated Marc's error to him, he refused to acknowledge his mistake & demanded I pay his bill. When I didn't, he sent collections after me. I paid it. Marc was my accountant for three fiscal years. Each year, my wife said we should get someone else. Each year, I defferred--"He's not that bad, and we've got an existing relationship!" I'd say. The problem with Marc is he's quick to take your upfront fees, but then responsiveness and coherent answers to questions are in short supply afterward. This year, I gave all my documents, paid his fee, and waited. And waited. And emailed for a status update. And waited. And waited. And finally got an email with the completed return. I sent back the return to be filed on his end, and... waited. And waited. And emailed. And waited five days before a reply came. Then I emailed back saying "Hey, you're running a real gongshow there, hey?" And Marc replied with a disengagement letter, instead of speaking like a reasonable adult. Pretty unprofessional. We met Marc Gedeon at a tax seminar in March of this year and the introduction was great. Good information about taxes, inheritance, etc. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. His administrative assistant, Paulina, set up a conference call for our free consultation. However, when we called in, no one was on the other line. We waited for about 10 minutes, hung up, then tried again. No answer. I tried calling Paulina at the office but no answer again. Upon further calling and a message left, she called back finally and said that Marc would be on the call but he was sick. He did take the call but we wasted about an hour and a half when a phone call from Paulina or Marc initially stating he was sick would have sufficed. We chose to let it go and proceed with our meeting. We filled out our intake form and emailed it back recently. There was no follow-up from Paulina so I waited 2 days and emailed her asking if she was in receipt of our intake form and when could we schedule an appointment? No reply. I waited until Thursday and left a voicemail asking Marc to call us ASAP. We did not receive a call from Marc but instead were emailed some excuse stating she thought she had made an appointment with us. We should not have to work this hard to set up an appointment where we are the paying clients. The appointment was now set for this week. We showed up on time, had trouble finding the office suite as they have moved. I called Paulina for the next 15 minutes as we were at the suite # listed on the door of their building. No answer. We asked the leasing office who then showed us the correct suite. Paulina answered the door and I asked why she didn't answer the phone and she said she was on her break. The voicemail states that the office is closed from 12:30-1pm and it was now 1:20pm and we had an appointment so wasn't sure how she could be on break. Anyway, Marc was not in the office. She stated that she sent me an email to that effect. Of course we were driving to their office so didn't receive it in time. However 1/2 hour lead time was not enough time to cancel. There was no phone call alerting us to this last minute cancellation, just an email. Paulina said that Marc had just told her of his flight delay. No mention of rescheduling for that day, just sometime. We have wasted so much time and never actually got to meet Marc to discuss our business. This is a very dysfunctional office. read more

Stay away from this poorly run, poor communicative group in a run-down location! After couple of email and a phone conversation, I came for an in-person consultation. I was asked to bring cash or pay in advance with paypal, which is an odd thing to do if you have yet to provide the service. The location is run-down, has no parking spots, and without any signs in the atrium to guide you. When I arrived, I was told, Marc Gedeon is busy and can not see me. He did not have the courtesy to come out of his office and tell me that , we could hear our conversations... I took off a day early from work all the way from Hollywood to hear this nonsense. I definitely do not recommend Marc. My husband and I wanted to file our personal taxes with him and spoke to him once and explained our case and told him that we wanted to work with him. He told us his fee and we were to contact him back with our info, however we tried calling and leaving messages and we never got a call back. Few times we spoke to his assistance and we were told she would have him call us and again nothing. In my opinion, if he can't be bothered to return a call of a potential client says a lot about his services.
