The operator bent the rear suspension and gouged the rear quarter panel while loading the car on a flat bed. He had an injured arm and was not able to do the job without destroying everything he touched. Geer's then protested the insurance claim to make things right. The repairs money is out of my pocket and now I am waiting for weeks to recover it. AAA is crazy to use these people. read more

Deny their service. They were sent out to me by triple AAA. It was a 9 mile tow and i was only supposed to pay 2 miles. Driver charged me $140 and coincidentally didn't have reciept book in car or a working card reader so I had to pay cash. Said he would send reciept once back in office and didnt. Called company and said they would investiagte after saying i was charged incorrectly and never called back. Driver was Brain A. And license plate of truck was 55442k2. I was stuck on the side of the road for nearly 5 hours while aaa assured me that Geers towing was on their way. They never showed up. Do yourself a huge favor and demand that aaa use a different vendor if you ever have the bad luck of needing a tow in the Anaheim, ca area. If I could give negative stars I would. I had a puppy locked in my car he hit the door locks after I set my purse and keys inside. I closed the door to walk to the drivers door and found I was locked out. I called aaa only to be hung up on. I called Geers towing to have a driver come and unlock my vehicle. It was before 5 pm about 7 pm the driver showed up unlocked my car then proceeded to charge me $300.00. Since I didn't have money on me he followed me to the bank where I used the atm got cash and paid the driver who followed me there. I didn't think to ask for a receipt as I was concerned more for my puppy. I have known the Geer family since mom and dad were around. When I went in to ask for my receipt I was told the lock out standard price was $65.00. To my surprise. I contacted Art the manager and told him the situation. He asked if I would come down and I d the driver which I did. Keith Geer one of the owners was there and I explained to him what had happened. He asked me to get call records supporting the calls to aaa and to Geers towing along with a bank statement to show funds paid Thru atm. I obtained both and turned them into Art the manager his response was he would talk to Keith and get back to me. That was Thursday it's now Monday and still no word. I called and was told Keith wasn't in till tomorrow. This tow call was on Nov 4, 2021 it is now Jan. 17.2021. I still have no receipt . Aaa would fully reimburse me only if I have receipt. As a preferred member of Aaa I am not happy. As far as Geers towing goes, a lot has changed since the parents had passed. read more

I had been waiting for a long time (about 3 hours) when I saw a Geer's tow truck stopped near my car. I spoke to the driver (Rick?) and he wasn't assigned my call, but he quickly took care of me. The biggest problem was the despicable treatment and customer service from the driver who was rude, condescending, patronizing, dismissive, and the list goes on. Locked Keys I managed to lock my keys in my car three times in one week. Triple A sent these guys each time. The first time the guy came he had to call for back up. They got them out in about 30 minutes. The following two times, the guys rocked and got them out in minutes. Two of the three visits the guys were polite and nice. Had a flat tire so I called AAA, after waiting on hold the dispatched driver, ETA was 1 hour. So it was night and I understood. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours with no updates I called AAA back. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes was told they would be another 4 hours! AAA manager said this is the only company they have available at night and they pick and choose jobs in any order. So just be prepared if you live in the Placentia area. AAA didnt care and Gears certainly didnt care either. Dont go close to Gears unless you want to wait for hours. read more

Terrible experience!!!!! It all started with Triple AAA providing me to this unprofessional business. I called at 12:45 PM and did not get my vehicle towed till 3:30 PM. Very unprofessional. The dispatcher hung up on me twice and would not give me his name. After serval times, asking who I was speaking to, I did not get a name and he specifically told me "You are not going to get towed." What kind of business hires people like this?? Stay away and don't use this business. You are going to waste your time and this is not what you want when you are in need of a tow and often times in desperate need quick. Very very rude! The dispatcher lied to me saying he called me several times however, that is incorrect. I had my phone in my hand on the side of the road waiting for a call. This is the first and last time I will allow Triple AAA to connect me with this towing company. The dispatcher called me 2 hours later and said "Do you still need a tow?" Yet, another lie. I will ensure to cancel and find another company whenever I need a tow. I have been a Triple AAA member for 20 years and this is the worst company I have dealt with. Be aware! The only reason I am giving a ONE star is because of the driver "John" the elderly gentleman who helped me once he arrived.
