I can't say enough good things about Antonio and the service we received. He handled both our mold/mildew treatment and the termite Sentricon bait system installation, and he went above and beyond at every turn. When Antonio went to access our crawlspace, he ran into a real obstacle. Duke Energy had installed a power line right across the entrance, blocking the door. Instead of throwing in the towel, Antonio got out a saw and carefully cut away what was in the way so he could move the door and get inside. He basically created his own entranceway to get the job done. Once he was in, he did a thorough investigation and even sent me a video! It was during the subterranean termite investigation that he discovered we had no termite issues, but did have a mold issue. He took care of that for us, too, and the pricing was very reasonable. Geiger Pest Control tented our home for a dry wood termites infestation. This infestation was restricted to our kitchen. The tenting did not kill this infestation. Although we were assured that it would. Instead of tenting our home again. They recommended spot treatment. We had purchased the annual termite warranty. So we felt covered. After it became evident that the spot treatment was ineffective. We scheduled our home to be tented again in the fall of the year. Geiger refused to honor our warranty. In fact they cancelled it before the tenting . We had paid 7 years of warranty annual payments. But Crystal their Office Manager sited Florida Law stating after 5 years they could cancel the warranty at their will. She stated we had become a liability. Knowing they had to tent our home again at their cost. Do yourself a big favor. Stay away from Geiger. read more

I used this company several few years ago for a bad infestation in a single wide. They broke a flagpole, but didn't tell me, I found it laying on the ground. I was just happy to get a tenting for $899 that actually worked for termites & fleas, I never complained. I used them again last year for a double wide for somewhere around $1300. I came home and the house had large flies inside. Not those little flies, but big fat flies & the smell! I thought it was left over chemicals but that night, when I had to sleep with a mask, I started to realize that it was a dead animal. Now i have to pay someone to remove a dead animal! Luckily for me, my neighbors removed & disposed of a poor bloated cat who died a horrible death for me. Then there were the fleas. I called to complain and was told that I "didn't pay for flea treatment." What?? There were also living plants that the tarps covered. One shrub was growing under my trailer. I wanted it gone & thought the chemicals would kill it. Nope, living weeds and that shrub told the story of the weak chemicals they used. I paid for a post fumigation pest service which i cancelled and never asked for a refund. Keep it. Lesson learned. I would like to rate them a minus 10 read more

This company blocked my alley for over an hour yesterday. Refused to move their truck into a driveway at the property so I could go by. Didn't care that I had hired someone to help me yesterday or that my van does not have working air conditioning. The alley is too narrow to allow me to move the trailer out the opposite direction. I was not able to get everything done that was scheduled to be done. With that kind of customer service would you really want to use them ? What would they do if they had money to lose? Very inconsiderate. That attitude starts at the top and filters down to the employees. I would never consider using this company. I wouldn't use them if the price was free! We set up a date and they showed on time and completed the job as promised with no problems. A couple months later my Tenent found what looked like a termite with wings crawling up a wall and she captured and saved it. I then contacted them again with my concern and they sent a nice employee who informed us it was not a termite, but a carpenter ant. He was informative and, nice and was glad we called them. Bought a house that had termites--the selling realtor has "a deal" with Geiger for reduced costs for services . I was out of town while this was taking place:I returned home to find that my front door, and back door, were left unlocked by Geiger. And,, as I was not at home, the Geiger employees made themselves comfortable in my home. There was ketchup stains on my new, $249.00 bar stools. I was not happy! Geiger offered to extend my warranty for a year free and clean the offending stool. I stared receiving renewal notices at $150.00 and questioned Crystal (a Geiger employee) about them--her answer? We offered to clean the dirty furniture or give you a year free warranty! Not the truth! First of all, they make you choose at least one star rating... With the tenting process completed I just arrived home. Walking up to my house I can see right off the bat where my fence had been taken down, as I was told, but not put back up, as I was also promised. Entering my house I realized I could hear water running to find that one of the service people had used my bathroom and set the stopper off track to my toilet, and the water had been running for the last 4 days. When I had called to complain I was told I was wrong that their staff is not permitted to use the facilities in any home. Just like that without any further investigation I, the customer, was wrong. So now after coming out of pocket for a hotel for 4 days I can also look forward to receiving a larger than necessary water bill. Office Staff is dense. Can't answer billing questions in a straightforward way on a warranty claim. I just gave up last September and paid the bill to get it done. Now a renewal that is not logical results in Crystal throwing out that this is because they are warranting the tenting last year under the original tenting 10 years ago and this is the price for the next 5 years to a maximum of 15 years. Oh last year after paying faithfully for 9 years I somehow did not pay for the 10th year. I never could find a bill for the 10th year so they probably didn't send it in an effort to invalidate what i had paid for 9 years. A big row to get the tenting done because of dense office staff. Unsatisfactory service!! I recently relocated to St. Petersburg and searched for a local Pest control service. In reading the mixed reviews, unfortunately i chose Geigers..... bad decision. The main reason I needed a pest service was that i heard noises and such in the attic. After the initial inspection, it was determined i had a rat in the attic. After 3 weeks of having to call, it was not resolved. The Technicians did some sealing and meshing around the exterior my home, but no success in ridding the situation. I have had to call for each visit.... for Geigers each week to reschedule. my wife and I just recently came home from having our house tented. Upon arrival we going to the kitchen and we find the complete an entire contents of our freezer and refrigerator, in the middle of our kitchen floor in bags. we have lost all of our food hundreds if not more than 300, or notre, worth of food and not so much as a return phone call from the pest control company after my complaint. I highly recommend that no one use this company this company is a slumlord contracted pest control company and I should have looked at the reviews first. I would rate this company the worst in customer service and professionalism that I have ever dealt with. I scheduled my home for termite fumigation and put my credit card on file (as directed by the office staff (Jamea) who gave me explicit details that the total price would be billed once the tent was removed). When Vito (the tenting technician) came to provide the detailed preparation for the tenting service (three days in advance), he insisted on receiving half the payment immediately because if he "wasn't paid upfront, I might not pay and the [fumigation] gas would have already been used and he would have to take me to court". He was irate, loud, and rude, and stormed off cancelling the service even though the office personnel informed him that they had the credit card. Apparently the office never communicated this to Vito). He insisted that people often treat him with disrespect because they assume he is white because of his name (??). This was totally baffling?? Actually, I had already reviewed all of the company photos online and knew who he was. I have never encountered anyone so totally disrespectful to a customer and so lacking in professionalism.
