Refreshing in a hot summer day!!! Friendly staff, interesting unique flavors with a twist, and creamy gelato. They have multiple locations all throughout Pearl Street. They offer fresh waffle cones or cups in various sizes. Not much seating inside the establishment itself but outside there is seating everywhere. Highly recommend for a delicious treat!

After a long afternoon of browsing Pearl St. we opted to grab a bite at Busaba (Thai) followed by desert just down the block, here at Gelato Boy. They gladly provide tasting samples. We each opted for the small cone but with two different scoops/flavors. One of the tryouts (Gooey Butter Cake Caramel) persuaded me to choose it and the other flavor was my typical standby profile (Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch)... see pic! Flavors of both were amazing and their consistency/temperature were just right - firm, yet on the verge of beginning to melt. There are 4-5 ice cream/gelato cafes along Pearl and prices here are on par. Staff were all pleasant and the inside was cleaning/inviting.

As someone who loves gelato but is lactose intolerant, I loved the variety of non-dairy flavors Gelato Boy had! I got the dairy free chocolate and the cookies and cream, both of which were creamy without being too sweet. The chocolate was reminiscent of chocolate sorbetto I had in Italy, decadent and slightly bitter, and most importantly, didn't have a coconut milk base (like most df options in the States do). Of course I could never go wrong with cookies and cream, and this still held true after trying Gelato Boy's take on it. Personally I'd prefer even more cookies in the ice cream, but it was delicious nonetheless. The shop is located on a fun lively street with many restaurants, making it a the perfect post-dinner dessert stop. The staff was also vey friendly and patient, proactively offering large samples while waiting in line. I didn't feel rushed at all, which I usually feel is the case in ice cream shops. Can't wait to be back and try more of their lactose & lactose free flavors!

Gelato Boy is located at one end of Pearl Street Mall and, for me, is the perfect sweet treat at the end of a hot, fulfilling day exploring in and around Boulder! The aesthetic of Gelato Boy is so cute and the branding is minimalistic and on point! They know how to market their stuff, but truly they don't even need to try too hard with their marketing because their gelato and other offerings truly stand on their own! They have such unique flavors of gelato here, along with plenty of classics, so you truly can't go wrong with any flavors! Of course, you are allowed to get tasters of the ones you're interested in to help aid your decision! Given how full I already was and a bit tired, I wasn't feeling *too* adventures, so I ordered a "tamer" flavor of salty cookies + cream, but my love for cookies + cream is next level, so I thoroughly enjoyed my one scoop of this and it just really hit the spot! The other flavors that really interested me that I'd love to go back and get proper scoops of were: lavender poppy, Sicilian pistachio, dark chocolate, and literally every sorbet flavor!! There's something for everyone here, they even have gluten free and dairy free options as well!

We stopped by this ice cream shop while walking around downtown Boulder. They had few vegan options so we had to try. I got a vegan Maple Pecan Biscotti and it was amazing! You couldn't really tell that it was dairy free. Hubby got the Pistachio and Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch and he also enjoyed it a lot. The prices were pretty high but it's downtown Boulder so what you'd expect... Staff was very friendly, they have few chairs outside so you can enjoy your Gelato on fresh air.

In the mood for something cold and something sweet. This place hit the spot and the line had diminished. Great service and we were allowed to have a taste sample. I fell in love with the Pistachio. I had ordered 2 scoops and a waffle cone ( I checked in and I got the waffle cone for free!). The quality of the ice cream was on par and the flavor was delicious. It was almost as if I was in Italy again. As we got our treats, we couldn't believe our eyes. There was a long line waiting to be served! We came just in time and we enjoyed it outside. They has a few seats just outside their entrance. They also have a few merchandise for purchase.

This place is really cute and has quite a few options. The flavors are fun and unique and there are a lot of options for people with different allergies. I highly recommend coming here and I will be back again soon. They also have a rewards program you will want to look up before you come and a Yelp check in deal as well! The service was fast and was kind and fun. A small space but inside a bigger building where you can get out of the heat if you need to.

Very high quality gelato here. The gelato is not overly-sweet and they offer a variety unique and tasty flavors, including a few vegan options as well. We had two exceptionally good vegan flavors: roasted strawberry coconut and milk chocolate chip. The milk chocolate chip gelato was rich and smooth with yummy pockets of fudge, and the roasted strawberry gelato tasted remarkably similar to strawberry cheesecake (i.e. very delicious). Make a stop here for a memorable ice cream experience! read more

Geez!!! What a place!!! VEGAN options made me almost fall out on the floor!!! I had the lemon basil and OMG squared was it good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think you could literally sample every single gelato and they wouldn't care. This is a great little store to visit, the ambiance is great, the gelato is amazing and the service is amazing! I highly recommend bringing the whole family - and friends. read more

This is such a cute place! Their gelato is tasty, they have plenty of flavors and they're willing to let you try each and every one of them before you make up your mind (but please don't because then the line never moves). They are generous with their servings which is nice because the tiny cup/cone is $3.54 and is smaller than any cup I've ever seen. I love the lights and the paintings on the wall. My favorite flavors are the cookie butter, the strawberry coconut and the cappuccino fudge. read more

I've never had better or sweeter gelato in my LIFE! It tastes just like the flavors they offer, it's incredibly tasty. I enjoyed the Cookie Butter, and OH MAN. I fell in love. The kids size is plenty. Trust. I didn't try anything else (coffee etc.) If I lived here I would probably keep asking for them to add a topping of graham crackers. That cookie butter with it would be really good too. I often wonder if the workers get really impatient or tied of us asking to sample all the flavors but I really couldn't help it! Our lady was the only one working at that night and didn't seem to mind. The gelato names are straight forward too. Ya know? Not like other places where it's so creative you don't even know what it is. This gelato is spot on in flavor and name. If you're out on Pearl, this is the cutest, clean, little modern artsy gelato place to spend that money. Yum. read more

Cute little gelato place on Pearl Street! The staff was friendly in letting try a few of the flavors. I liked the pistachio since it was very nutty and actually tasted like pistachio but ended up getting the London Fog because I liked the tea flavor in it. I like some of the unique flavors they offered (ex. London fog, chocolate lavender, etc.), but it's definitely on the pricier side for a small cup of gelato. My one scoop in a cup cost me 4 dollars. read more

We came here tonight after dinner on pearl and it was absolutely fantastic! We liked the super small feel and while there were many people in and out, it felt cozy and comfortable. The gelato is so creamy and not too sweet which really allowed the flavors to come through. My daughter loved the dairy free strawberry coconut (made with coconut milk not soy ) and they did have gluten free cones and even put sprinkles on top. My husband had the dairy free salted caramel which he really enjoyed, and I had the grasshopper which I also liked and wasn't too minty. We will be back!! read more

Simply the best Gelato I've had outside of Italy, period. Fior de Latte is the one must stop at booth at the Boulder Farmers Market for us, and we were thrilled to hear about their plans to open an actual store. The flavours are both robust and sublime. The mouth feel is perfection. The combinations ingredients that they use are a delightful mashup of gelato goodness. Go there, go there now! read more

The afogato was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I ate: baklava afogato Matt ate: lemon and basil Service: 7/10 - cheer up ladies, you have a fabulous job! Vibe: 6/10 - I'd love to see a happier vibe all around, what a sweet place it could be Food: 15/10 - literally incredible flavors and tastes. Highly recommend!! Cool place in Boulder on Pearl Street! We stopped in for a "not-your-regular-boring-ice-cream" treat after debating between gelato vs. iced tea from next door. We tried two different chocolate flavors, both good! They have seating inside and outside. It was not too busy while we were there in a weekday just after lunch hour. However, there were a few local customers that came in to get their gelato fix. read more

Meh. Save your time and money and go to Lindsays Deli a couple blocks down. You can get lunch and delicious ice cream all in one place. This place always has a ridiculous line for no reason i can think of. read more

I could not believe the texture of the sorbet. Best way I could describe it is that it was like thick gooey snot. About 2-3 spoonfuls, I just couldn't continue eating it without gagging. It's a shame because I really wanted to like it. read more

I had the roasted strawberry coconut gelato with the plain waffle, and my friend had the Mexican vanilla bean gelato with the churro waffle, and I have to say that both of them were great combinations. The service was also great, and allowed us to try as many samples as we wished. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped by to get some gelato while walking down Pearl Street. Even though it was cold and there was snow on the ground something about Fior was calling our names! We got the cookie butter gelato in a cup, and it was so rich and creamy. It tased just like buttered sugar cookies! I wish they had some pieces in of cookies or pecans in the gelato, but it was still amazing. All of the flavors we tasted we're good. And there is small seating area inside if you want to hang out and work. Fior also has affogatos- a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of gelato. I think the price was around $5 something. In general, really yummy and creamy gelato that's a little price and delicious! read more

After a brutal trek all the way from 29th Street Mall, I happened upon this small but trendy coffee and gelato shop and found solace in their mind-blowing Kombucha float. The kombucha float (I found out the hard way that it's pronounced "kom-boo-cha" guys) is a spectacular concoction of a fizzy and mildly flavored kombucha soda and two groups of Fior's house made gelato. The staff were kind enough to let me sample the gelato, and I went by their suggestions, getting a scoop each of lemon basil and melon cucumber. The lemon basil was very good on its own, super tart and fragrant, but it was a little out of place with the rest of the drink. The melon cucumber, however, was a perfect match for the Kombucha. The sweet, slightly earthy flavor of the melon, along with cool undertones of cucumber, played beautifully with the rooty Kombucha. My only two complaints are that the gelato still had some icy junks in it and the price was a little too high for my comfort, at $7. The flavor was seriously on point though. This was just what I needed to rejuvenate me after my treacherous expedition (some might just call it a long walk). I'll definitely be coming back for another Kombucha float with only melon cucumber gelato. read more

This gelato blew my mind! It is sooo creamy and flavorful. They also have a large variety of dairy free options (though I didn't try those). I tried lavender honey and peach crumble, both of which were outstanding summer flavors. The lavender was not overpowering but definitely had that fragrant refreshing flavor. The peach crumble was killer! It was creamy but not overly so; you still get that fleshy fruitiness which made it almost sorbet-like. The crumble throughout was so heavenly like peach cobbler. Yes, it's pricey (my two scoops were over $6) but it's worth it for a treat! They also sell waffles which I didn't try but smelled amazing. read more

The atmosphere and decor are reminiscent of a European cafe, which is a nice touch for a shop that is all about gelato. I recently stopped in again and found it refreshing that the gelato is still made fresh every day and the flavors are unique. I found myself fancying the lemon and basil this time around, but was a little bit disappointed on how small the scoop is for the price I paid for it ($4 for one scoop). I finished my gelato before I even got a full flavor of it. The coffee is fresh and I would come back just to spend a little bit of time soaking up the nice atmosphere with a cup. read more

Cute little gelato place in the middle of Pearl St. Mall. Good range of flavors. Only one person working there when I visited so it took a bit of time. She was very sweet though. I got the chocolate peanut butter flavor gelato in a cup--single scoop but it's very rich so that was plenty. It was creamy and delicious, but the flavors were a bit muted. One tip I got after writing this review is that you can do a "split scoop" for 50 cents extra to get 2 flavors in a serving. Would definitely stop here again if in the area (and get a split scoop!). read more

Their ice cream is absolutely delicious! Perfectly creamy, not too sweet, very pronounced flavors. And I love they allow up to 3 flavors in a regular! I tried pistachio, chocolate hazelnut, and lavender poppy. All wonderful, I haven't had ice cream this good in a while. Also very much appreciate it's not stuffed with artificial flavors and coloring (at least it doesn't seem like it does, seems very natural). read more

The gelato looks great and tastes good and is very smooth and creamy but OMG I almost died of sugar overload. It was so sweet I couldn't even finish the single scoop of plain vanilla I got. You guys should cut the sugar in half and then cut it half again. The shop is cute and the service was good but if I can't eat the gelato, there's no point in it. read more

This is one of the better frozen deserts on pearl street. They constantly have new flavors and are very generous with their samples. The staff is always friendly, funny, and engaging. The price is a bit steep but they certainly don't short you on the gelato. read more

The place is so cute and modern! Sleek and very minimalistic, however it still has splashes of color included in the interior and the rustic wood ceiling gives it a bit of a cozy feel. Staff is very kind and outgoing! The prices may be very up there, however the gelato is very decadent and some could argue you're also paying for the ambience. The lemon blueberry sundae is to die for! Aesthetically pleasing and delicious as well. All in all, it's one of my favorite places to go to. read more

This place has multiple, delicious vegan gelato options at all times, which is rare for a gelato place. As someone who is dairy-free I appreciated this greatly! The flavors are all amazing-- I had the Vietnamese Coffee flavor and it was so creamy, even for being DF. Also got it "Unicorn style" just for fun. :) read more

After leaving Italy, I never thought I would enjoy good gelato again. Fior Di Latte proved me wrong.. My favorite flavors of gelato that are served here are the "London Fog" gelato and the "Chocolate Lavender" gelato. The London Fog was an Earl Gray tea based gelato and was one of the best I have ever had! The chocolate lavender was decadent and smooth with the lavender notes not overcoming the chocolate base. Ignore your diet, forget the calories, come here and live life happy! read more

SO DELICIOUS. highly recommend the Blackberry Cornbread flavor it's amazing. it sounds weird at first but it literally melts in your mouth I cannot get enough of it. I love coming here after a long day of studying to get something sweet to end my day. definitely try it out if you haven't. best ice cream in Boulder!! read more

Fior Di Latte has the best vegan ice cream (or more specifically, gelato) in Boulder. Any vegan with a sweet tooth (or really anyone with a sweet tooth) should stop by and grab some vegan flavors! Pro Tip: Lucky's Market has even more vegan flavors by Fior di Latte, so if you want even more Fior di Latte variety than what they have in scoop shops, check out Lucky's! read more

Truly the rudest staff I have ever encountered in my entire life. My boyfriend and I came in to order some gelato, and as we were looking at the menu, we were greeted with death glares by all 5 workers behind the counter (not sure why they needed 5 workers in a tiny ice cream shop with no customers but okay). They weren't close to closing, and we were the only people in the shop so not sure what the glares were for. We were pressured into quickly ordering, and every single one of the 5 workers were equally short and rude with us. Not one smiled at us the whole time. The looks they give you make you want to crawl into a hole to hide, I thought the girl behind the counter was about to punch me in the face when I smiled at her. My bf and I both somehow felt truly shitty after leaving even though we were only there for 5 minutes. They don't deserve to have jobs facing customers, so might as well just fire them all and get a whole new batch of losers to work there. Also it was $6 for this kids sized cup of average ice cream. Just go to Ben n Jerry's where you won't feel judged for buying overpriced ice cream that the workers probably spit in. read more

Stumbled upon this cute little gelato shop during my stroll through Pearl Street on a snowy December day. I sampled several flavors, but I found most of them to be lacking in depth of flavor - they all tasted a little bland. I settled on a scoop of gingerbread, which was ok. Delicious and in a very pretty space. You'll pay more for that but it's lovely nonetheless and on Pearl so that makes it a bit more romantic and pleasant than other gelato in Boulder. Friendly service and very clean. Coconut was tasty! read more

It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

Within the last few months words has spread about Fior Gelato. Based off of what I've heard from first hand witnesses, the moral compass of the owner/manager is severely misaligned. Not only is the treatment of his employees beyond subpar, but his professionalism with his peers is below what you would expect from a man. Between his gaslighting and falsified workers rights, it's a downright hostile work environment where you cannot speak your mind (because he literally listens through cameras) and you're overworked for mediocre underpay. Work loads over the summer are far more than 8 hours a day yet only staffs 2-3 people when demands are way higher, demands insane deadlines, makes you work until the workload is done and does't pay overtime. He threatens your job if you call in sick, treats you with utter disrespect but gets hostile when you justifiably call him out, and fires his best employees without reason when they decide they've had enough. He runs a successful business, yes, but at the cost of his workers wellbeing. He thinks he's infallible and his rules are unquestionable. When you call him out on his BS and get the law involved he tries to cover his tracks. All I'm saying is there is far cheaper and of equal quality gelato on the market that isn't backed by a slimy, manipulative child-like man who thinks he can get away with emotional exploitation, slave-labor, and tyrant behavior. BTW, if you're looking into eating a vegan gelato because you have a lactose allergy look into another place. He's not above putting dairy in advertised dairy-free flavors for the sake of profit. Other Ice Cream recommendations include: Sweet cow, Ben & Jerry's, and Le Pops. read more

I'd like to mention that the gelato at Gelato Boys was delicious. However, I noticed the establishment isn't wheelchair-friendly. There might be an entrance at the back from Pearl Street, but it wasn't visible to me. I'm uncertain if this breaches ADA guidelines. It was disheartening to rely on my son to order for my wife and me. Had I been alone in a wheelchair, I wouldn't have been able to enter. It's essential to consider accessibility when designing and setting up shops. A disability-friendly ramp should be a minimum requirement. read more
