Very good gelato makes this an occasional stop. The flavors are in a wide variety, but nothing crazy. In addition to the basic cup or cone serving options, you can get it affogato or on a Belgian waffle, both good options (although you feel a bit like you're holding up the line when you choose either of these). I'm not sure I've ever actually stayed to enjoy it in the small, crowded store: there are always plenty of places to sit along Pearl Street. read more

My wife and I went here and she got a scoop in a cup. Decent size. I ordered two scoops in a cone. After we paid and walked outside, I noticed that the one scoop on the top of the cone was about 10% of what my wife had in her cup. I wanted to go back and complain but she said forget it. I should have gone back. We paid quite a bit and I got screwed with them taking advantage. Will never go back to that shop. read more

I personally love the black raspberry and butter cake flavors, with a nice kick in natural flavor that the grocery store just can't match. So three stars for the gelato and 0 stars for service. Please tell me how I got skipped over in line. Came here with two other friends. I'm not racist but it makes you wonder why it happened, so I will point out the fact that I came with two of my Caucasian friends. My gf was in front of me- the guy served her. There was this girl that was just standing there and we made eye contact, I started to ask something and she looked at me and said he's going to help you. Cool... no problem. But then the part I'm pissed about was, she proceeded to help my guy friend. WTS?!?? Are you serious?? By now, my gf already paid and the guy who served her went to the end of the line without even acknowledging me. Ok no fault of his- I guess he assumed someone already helped me. Pretty soon, another girl came out from the back room and took over my guy friend's order. For reals, do you just not serve Asians? Generally, all the other places that I've been to would've at least asked if I've been helped. The girl that ended up serving me gave me attitude like just pick your flavors and said, "it's your time to shine" wtf???? Please, get outta here. read more

Solid Gelato spot for a hot day in Boulder. Lots of interesting choices and the gelato looked amazing. If you check in on YELP you get a free cone....BONUS!!!! We tasted a few before committing then made our decisions. The gelato was well made and smooth. The flavors were pronounced and it was just plain delicious. I come here an embarrassing amount (I'm on my second loyalty card). I make it a point to bring friends and family here, because they are always impressed by the gelato here. It's safe to say I've tasted a good majority of their flavors. My all time favorite is their London fog (earl grey tea, vanilla, and pieces of shortbread cookie). You can't go wrong with their lemon basil either, it's tart and refreshing without it being overly sweet. You cannot go wrong with any of the flavors here. Make it a point to come here during the colder months because that's when they'll expand their dessert selection. One time my friend got a molten chocolate cake with a scoop of gelato on top and she keeps mentioning that magical cake. They also will have gelato cakes in half of the display during the colder months. These are great, especially the tiramisu one. Service is always pleasant and nice. They are more than willing to let you try samples! The atmosphere is so cute and cozy, I usually brought dates here after dinner. It's a great place to come after a cold winter date or to sit out on their patio with a friend and people watch. read more

Right on the strip of the historic pearl street mall! (If youre walking in from walnut st it's on your right side). There was another gelato place on the other side of the mall but I decided to come in here since the decor was more sleek and modern. I got the cheesecake gelato and it a bit runny right after the cashier handed it over to me. The taste was awesome and on point! However I did notice the ice chunks that was in there so it threw me off a little bit. It was a bit pricey too so I would probably not return. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and think maybe this was a bad batch, but why sell a bad batch to customers? Shame because the interior design was so cute! read more

Yes, Fior di Latte may showcase very different flavors than ice cream. But you are getting something you normally *cannot* find outside of Italy. This is *traditional* gelato: creamy, beautiful, flavorful gelato, made by someone who clearly loves what they do, otherwise they wouldn't boast that it's made fresh every day and it wouldn't taste as amazing as it does. Yes, I'm gushing, and yes, it's hokey, but I don't know how else to emphasize how lucky I feel to have such fantastic gelato in Colorado. Please, *please* try gelato from other places around Colorado, and then go back to Fior di Latte, and tell me we aren't lucky to have them. read more

I've made many visits to Fior di Latte since they opened, and even before at their Farmers Market cart. I'm always more than satisfied with each trip. My favorite flavor so far is the basmatti rice, but the pistachio is a great standby. I wanted to try their avocado flavor, but it was not being made the day I visited. The flavors rotate often, and the gelato and sorbet is made fresh every day. Because of this, you don't want to arrive too early in the day or they won't all be ready. You're usually safer going after 11am (but I always want it earlier...) Great staff willing to provide answers and samples aplenty. Go here for a superb gelato experience. read more

We came here on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. It was very hot and we had guests visiting from out of town. We joined the line to get milkshakes, ice coffee and milk for our 3 year old and 16 month old. I asked the lady behind the counter if she can sell us milk, she said she could not. I asked if they had milk and she said they did, but that it isn't on the menu so they can't sell it. I asked if she could sell us the milk and just charge us a coffee price (which is an outrageous price for just a glass of milk). i told her we had some very hot kids outside that would like some milk and if they sold it in a cup as a milkshake or in coffee, that is fine, but they won't sell it by itself, even if they charged me a coffee price, the won't. Just ridiculous. Terrible customer service. I bought a $7 milkshake while all this was going down: salted caramel milkshake. Completely runny. I guess I should have just bought the $7 milkshake and asked them to hold the ice cream because that's pretty much what I paid for: $7 runny milkshake and no milk for my kids. read more
