Probably the best Gelato I have had in the Camden County area, they put some love into this. It is a small store, the place was packed on this Sunday afternoon. The flavor offerings are well curated, something for everyone. For me, Gelato is very rich-tasting so the small portion size (versus large) is perfect! You can order 50/50 of two flavors if you like. Appreciated how they could stuff 2 flavors into the smallest serving size cup, and you gotta' love the charming presentation with the Ciao wafer cookie. I cannot speak about the gelato, but I wanted to take time to write a review which I rarely do. I went here last night, looking for hot chocolate. The outside caught my attention, so I decided to go in. When at the counter, I asked "do you have hot chocolate?" I got yes as an answer. I asked my partner if they wanted a medium or large. Medium was the answer, so I ordered 2 medium hot chocolates. Placed on the counter were too extremely small cups. I asked if this was the medium size and was told "oh well we actually only have one size here." It through me off, because I wasn't told that. Next we were told "oh well this hot chocolate is actually really thick." We took a sip of our extra small cups and were thrown off by a thick, hot custard like chocolate paste. I'm not sure if it is some type of delicacy, but my partner and I were not fans at all. I actually found it pretty disgusting, especially after eating a delicious meal on Haddon Ave. We were not given hot chocolate, and not even told that what we were ordering would actually be very opposite of it. My partner and I were extremely disappointed, and next time we will go to Starbucks across the street. At the end of the day I paid $9 for two small cups of a hot chocolate custard when I asked for hot chocolate. I won't be back, and my partner won't either. Hopefully the gelato is out of this world good, because the experience I had was absolutely terrible. Save your money and time and go elsewhere for hot chocolate. read more

This Gelateria is a very small space, and if there's any sort of line you will be crammed all together in front of the counter, but it's definitely worth it. The prices are reasonable, the sizes are good, and the Gelato is to die for. I got Salted Caramel Gelato and the flavor is so much better than Salted Caramel desserts I've had elsewhere. It's a strong flavor, and my boyfriend says the flavor in his Coconut Gelato was bold as well...in a good way of course. So excited that a Gelato place has opened up so close to home! I used to have to drive into Philly for Capogiro- now I won't have to! This place is just as good if not better (and they are also open late in the evenings which is perfect!). You can ask for multiple flavors with no additional charge- I was able to try the stracciatella, hazelnut and the milk chocolate. The hazelnut was by far my favorite but I'm biased as I'm a total Hazelnut junkie. I would love to see them have a Nutella flavor- but mixing the hazlenut and the milk chocolate was close enough. (I'm unsure if they actually do make a Nutella flavor or not- obviously I'd be super excited if they do)! They also offer a variety of baked goods- my boyfriend had a chocolate chip cookie which he said was delicious. The prices were super reasonable - for my gelato (3 flavors piled high in the smaller sized cup) and the chocolate chip cookie it came to a total of $5 and was more than enough for us! Great gelato/ baked goods, friendly, attentive staff and amazing value! Highly recommend- save the trip to the city - your wallet and your taste buds will thank you! read more

Anytime I stop at a gelato place, I always ask to try the pistachio. This was the first flavor I tried when I visited Italy and it was the very first time I had gelato ever. I was not a fan of the pistachio here, my husband was. It wasn't horrible it just didn't have much flavor to me which was strange as it had pistachio pieces in it. Normally, I always ask a gelato place to try their pistachio and that's how I determine if I'm getting anything. I decided to keep trying flavors here and I'm glad I did because the mango tasted like mangoes were literally shaved and frozen. This would be awesome to have on a hot summer day. You can get two flavors in one cup. I did the mango and the Italian chocolate chip . They didn't have the flights available and I'm not sure if they don't do it anymore or if they were just out of season. I also had a cafe Americano. The first sips were awesome but after eating my gelato and then having the coffee it tasted watered down. Could just have been my taste buds? DELICIOUS. There's no other way to say this. My bestie and I wanted frozen yogurt or gelato, and because it's been Americanized, it's lost the true form of the idea. We yelped this place and thought we would give it a chance because of the raving reviews. We were NOT disappointed in the slightest. The shop is small, quant, decorated as if you are sitting outside a Italian gelato shop. 4 tables, a bathroom, cozy and beautiful Italian music in the background. Coming back from our Italy trip we are really craving for Gelato, then we found this gem! Oh my god! Great atmosphere and has Italian music. They have the classics that you get in Italy(as my wife would say who has been there) and some Americanized gelato flavors like oreo and mint chocolate chip. This is a little ice cream shop in haddonfield, with walls decorated with art that makes the place look rustic and romantic, but other than ambiance I don't feel this place is all to different in quality to the neighborhood Baskin Robbins. The ice cream tastes like any other store bought ice cream and I highly doubt their baked goods are made in house, but rather it is far likelier to have all been made at a nearby bakery and brought in each morning. Ice cream is about $5/scoop, and a pint is about $10. The place works well for dessert after dinner or as a date spot, but other than that the place is culinarily speaking quite the bore. read more
