What a lovely gelateria! We spotted by after eating in a restaurant near by and this was spectacular! We saw so many people walking around with gelato from this place that we knew we needed to try it and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were phenomenal, I just wish we lived closer. The inside is super cute, equipped with tables and sweet decor, and they also have tables outside which is nice. However, the location is on such a cute and fun street that we just grabbed gelato and walked around for a bit. The service was great. Highly recommend and excited to go again sometime!

A good dessert option! We stopped here after our annual holiday dinner with friends. Raspberry sorbet and chocolate gelato were fresh and creamy. They were out of the Nutella flavor and a couple others when we arrived in the evening.

Great variety of tasty gelatos. Helpful staff. Prices are as expected. Picture shows a medium (after 2 bites) - $6.25. ...could use a little more air conditioning but the gelato is great!

Their oreo gelato is among the best gelato that I've ever had. I'd been planning to try one of the other flavors during the most recent visit, but as soon as my eyes caught site of the oreo gelato, I knew I had to order it again. Maybe the adventurous side of me will have better luck winning out next time?

Stopped here for dessert after getting dinner in the area. So many options for gelato flavors and it was delicious! Kinda pricy for relatively small sizes but i'll definitely be back!

Had the strawberry and cream gelato and hazelnut pistachio in a small cup. Gelato was great, felt like I was back in Italy.

Very cute gelato shop. There's outdoor seating if you're with a group, but limited so you have to grab a seat quick. They also have macaroons and cakes as well.

Delicious gelato - rich, creamy and full of flavor. The crispy cookie was and added delight which brought another layer of flavor and texture to my dessert.

Love this place! Great flavors and they even do pup cups for the dogs. Will definitely be back

Very cute gelato store with some great choices. I loved the honeycomb flavor, which was a perfect match with the coffee flavor, given the blend of sweetness and bitterness.

Excellent. It's the first time I've ever tried a single flavor and decided on it immediately (Italian Marscopone). Pretty small inside, hard to form a line. Was internally conflicted where to stand; I don't like standing in the way of the exit. Not enough room to loop around. There are a few small tables inside and outside with umbrellas. Free parking street parking on weekends.

Simply wonderful gelato. I tried their Madagascar vanilla and loved it! Nice balanced sweetness and flavor and a very generous portion. Service was friendly and quick and the store had plenty of space to sit.

I can not get enough of this place. If I am going to collingswood I am 10/10 stopping here for a small gelato. It is as close to Italy as I can get without going to Italy. My first time here I had the privilege to talk with the owner for about 30 minutes. He is the nicest man with so many stories about Italy. If you have the time and he is behind the counter talk to him! Every flavor I have had in there has been spectacular AND they have pup cups for your little furry friends. If you love chocolate get a hot chocolate from there, if I remember correctly it is made with 3 different types of chocolate and it is SPECTACULAR. If you don't want to read the full review read my synopsis, best gelato in town with a super friendly owner 10/10 would recommend.

Really good authentic gelato! The store is small but we got ours to go. They let you sample flavors as well. Definitely recommend.

Really good gelato. So tasty and great flavors. Amazing spot with old fashioned Italian music piped into the outdoor seating area.

My latte was just ok. It was $28 for everything which is wild for the quality. And overall the cafe is just dirty and unkept. Again not sure the hype. I don't think I'll come back.

The vibes are "cozy, coffee snob but they're cool about." We decide to go with an Americano for me, a cappuccino for the misses, two breakfast sandwiches and a peanut butter chocolate muffin for The Little One. Meh. My Americano tasted like TEA. Like straight up Earl Gray. I let The Misses try before I told her what I ordered, and she said, "why did you order TEA?" By that point, it was busy and I didn't feel like making a fuss about it, but if you dilute my DOUBLE espresso so much it tastes like tea, or you just straight up gave me the wrong drink, we are off to a bad start. The misses Cappuccino cup was half full, and half of that half was foam. And the part that wasn't foam wasn't even good. I'm sensing that you just shouldn't get anything involving espresso from the ol Brown Dog Cafe. The breakfast sandwiches were also.....meh. They worked, but absolutely nothing you couldn't get microwaved from Starbucks or Dunkin. Now the muffin was an absolute winner. I'll give Mimi her credit here. Maybe they should turn into a bakery and forego the coffee stuff. ANYwho...I don't see a reason to go back. Our table was dirty where we sat, and we actually just cleaned it ourselves with wipes before sitting down. We cleaned it ourselves after for whomever would come in after us, since it was clear the staff weren't going to do it. It's a cozy place to settle in and eat a muffin and maybe a regular coffee, but I certainly wouldn't be ordering another Americano from them anytime soon.

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

The food took forever, which it usually does but we still go since we normally like the breakfast food. The burrito finally arrived after 30 minutes. The tacos my husband ordered took another 10 minutes. My husband was less than thrilled with flavorless soft tacos that took 40 minutes to make. We decided to provide feedback because we've been here many times and expected more. Again, we regretted this as well. I don't know why we bothered because no one knows how to take honest feedback anymore these days. The young boy who portrayed himself as the manager (was in fact the busboy) was dismissive and but did offer refund, which we declined since that's not the reason we provided feedback. He couldn't handle someone trying to tell them how to improve instead of asking for something for free. It's crazy how someone doesn't want money is still treated as difficult. Then my husband takes the time from his day to speak with owner. He thought he had a constructive conversation, only to find the owner goes straight into his kitchen in front of customers and tells the young boy what my husband said. So unprofessional! They have an open kitchen and this guy thinks it's a good idea to speak with your employee now??? Little did they know while they were trash talking my husband, instead of appreciating the fact that he wasn't asking for money and only wanted gave valuable constructive feedback from repeated customers, that they all chose to turn it around and call my husband a jerk. I did call out that they need to be more careful about how they speak about customers and it was quite interesting to see an entire kitchen and at least 5 customers in line speechless and in shock! As they should have been. Like the rest of society these days, no one knows how to behave and be professional anymore. I'm beyond embarrassed for the owner and anyone affiliated with this restaurant. Just downright pathetic!
