Stupefacente! I don't know how many times I've passed by this place, with the intentions on getting gelato. FINALLY the day came. They have decent later hours that works with my work schedule so thats always a plus. I got a medium hazlenut gelato and it was delightful. I cannot wait to go back and try more. My only concern was that the two young workers there were deep in their conversation when we walked in and took an awkward moment for me to break into their conversation to be served. Good Gelato. The place itself is tiny and the ordering line doesn't make sense to me. It's a tiny hallway like area that you order, pay, and move around in. The Gelato itself is delicious. I've always been a fan of Italian food, and I've wanted to have an auntethic gelato, even though I've never been to Italy. I looked everywhere near me for a Gelateria, and found mixed reviews on places far from where I reside, so my hopes to try a good gelato were sliming down. Once I downloaded Yelp, my quest to found my dream gelato began. A couple of places in Philly invited me in, but I didn't wanted to cross the bridge just for gelato. So, my quest continued, until I came across with Gelato Dulceria. Based on all the reviews, I knew this was the place to go. And, so it began. My fiance and I decided to have a date and Haddonfield became our destination. We didn't planned anything in particular, but one thing was for sure; we were going to have gelato for desert. We arrived at Gelato Dulceria, and the first thing we noticed was the Italian music inviting us in. The shop is small, but is well organized. There's a sitting area, and the pastry display draws your attention. The man behind the counter was very polite and greeted us with a smile. We talked for a bit, and he guided us to where the amazing display of gelato were waiting to be chosen. My amazement was great, as my eyes scanned all the flavors available. After a small debate, I decided to go with the coconut and pistachio mix, which was insanely delicious. The coconut had flakes in it, and the pistachio flavor was intense. Both disolved in my mouth. My fiance went with a mix of nutella and espresso, both equally sinful. Next time, I would love to try the mango, or the mascarpone, perhaps I can try them all. We also got a couple of mini canolis; creamy and crunchy, and a couple of macaroons, lemon, vanilla and raspberry. First time trying macaroons, and they were magnificent. What a cute place! The girls working were so patient and kind. They were so nice when I asked to sample some flavors because it was my first time having gelato. I ultimately ended up get honeycomb and dulce de leche and my fiancé got the pistachio which he loved. I will most definitely return and have honeycomb again!!! Absolutely recommend going to, their Italian water ice is completely natural ingredients, and it makes it taste so much better. If you don't want any preservatives inside you food, you should 100% definitely come here. So, I will use this review to confess something- I am a recovering cold treataholic. I have always been a relatively healthy eater but ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, slushies, popsicles, etc etc are my weakness. I would eat clean, not problem, but after lunch and dinner I cannot stop grazing (raiding freezers) until I have a cold treat. I had gotten a grip on it and then came Gelato Dolceria, destroying any will power I had accumulated over the past year.   The flavors I have tried: MANGO! - creamy mango goodness - I even dream about this stuff! Blackberry Cabernet - pronounced cabernet flavor and a nice touch of ripe blackberries Chocolate - rich dark chocolate with chocolate pieces (amazing!) Green Tea- My favorite flavor of ice cream anywhere! This version is so creamy and not too sweet. Coconut - rich and creamy coconut, a must try Mint Chocolate Chip - minty and fun chocolate pieces, my favorite (before green tea became more accessible) Salted Caramel - perfectly balanced caramel Peanut Butter Cup - peanut butter is not a favorite of mine but this tastes just as it should. The store itself it pretty small but has a few seats available for dine-in. There is also a bench towards the Little Tuna that may work during the warmer drier months. Obviously, if you visit you are  mostly likely there for the gelato so I see what they are doing by placing the baked goods in a manner that would get you to impulsively buy a biscotti or two. Yes, I ate the biscotti in bed when I got home. On to more confessing: I shamefully buy my toddler her own only to freeze it and eat it *IN* the freezer so she does not catch me. Yes, the small is enough for an adult, but if you are getting the mango, buy the large. So if any of you, alike me are recovering cold treataholics don't do it to yourself, stay away! What an amazing gelato place! My boyfriend and I came here one day after craving ice cream. When you walk into Gelato Dolceria the air fills with sweet ice cream and baked goods. The gelato variety is huge. They have everything from coffee flavors to fruity sorbets. We were able to sample many of the flavors before deciding on which gelato flavors to settle on. The ice cream is extremely rich with very distinct tasty flavors and it comes with a cute tiny waffle cookie! Stopped here for something on a hot day. It was just what we needed. We tried the Italian choc chip and the espresso. Omg both were outstanding. We also tried coffee which was tasty too and to go along with that we got this Oreo cake. The cake was ehhh. They get it from some bakery in philly. Parmesan gelato? Ehhhh That was interesting, but their other flavors were yummy! We came in around 9pm on a Friday night, and waited only a couple minutes for our gelato. My favorite flavor was the ricotta (or as we say here, "rigutt"). So creamy-dreamy! After getting our orders, after one lick I said "wow this is amazing!". There's basically one table and a few uncomfortable benches. Not exactly a place I'd like to sit for more than the 90 seconds it takes to eat an ice cream cone. Value: 3.5 out of 5 6 bucks for a cone is pretty steep. I think it's pretty ballsy to charge that much when it probably costs the shop about 10 cents to make. Love me some Italian gelato. We tried the pistachio and mascarpone gelato and they were both really good. The pistachio had more of a sorbet, nutty texture and the mascarpone was creamier and sweet. The cannoli and sfogliatelle were good, but not as good as the gelato. The only downside for me is that I think the gelato should be displayed in the front when you walk in instead of the pastries. The gelato is on the side next to the register, which is fine until theres a line in which you have to wait just to see what the flavors are that day. There isn't enough space to look without being in someone's way. Because the flavors displayed are seasonal, it may differ from other choices shown on the website. I was looking for a sign showing any featured flavors for that day, but I didn't see one. It would be nice if the gelato was the first thing you see when you walk through the door, go to the side to pay and while you're there you find you want a tasty pastry to go along side it. read more

The cups look small, but they fit a lot of gelato in there and it's served with a wafer cookie on top, which is a nice touch. My friend from NYC was visiting and I wanted to go out for a treat after lunch. I heard this place just opened,and luckily we were in the area. Let me tell you... This place is the REAL DEAL! The gelato here is sooooo rich and creamy. It truly is indulgent, though worth the money (and calories). My friend loves hazelnut, so she got both the Bacio Chocolate Hazelnut and Piedmont Hazelnut. After trying both, she said she preferred the simple, delightful flavor of the Piedmont Hazelnut. I tried some and the Bacio is definitely VERY decadent with a dark, dark chocolate flavor. I had the Madagascar Vanilla Bean and Pure Pistachio. The classic vanilla flavor was smooth and creamy. The pistachio tasted roasted wit a slightly smoky nuttiness. They sell their gelato by the pint, and I will be stopping here instead of picking up a mass-made pint at the grocery store now.
