Popped in here for a sweet treat while in the area. There's a large variety of flavors and ice cream types. Frozen yogurt, ice cream, gelato, and dairy free soft serve. Although, they didn't have cookie dough which is a staple flavor in my opinion. They let you sample two flavors. I ended up getting the "munchie madness". One of the most unique ice cream flavors I have ever tried. I asked the woman working there what was in it and she just said "everything". Which is pretty accurate. There was m and Ms Reece's, birthday cake, brownie pieces, caramel maybe?, and not sure what else. I got the regular which is the smallest size and it came out to be 7$. So definitly pricey. Not my favorite ice cream I have tried in Palm Springs but definitely a good option!

The staff was really nice and sweet. They had a good selection. The store is right on the main street.

Hair in gelato. We went to complain. Staff did not apologize or give any reimbursement.

Really good and yummy creamy yogurt. Just wish I could get a test of a flavor before buying before I take a risk.

On a peak summer weekend evening, during one of the busiest tourist seasons of the year, this location had only two employees working. One person was responsible for scooping ice cream for a line of well over 30 customers (including many children), while the other was simultaneously trying to begin closing duties and keep the store clean. The wait for a single scoop of ice cream was nearly an hour. This isn't an employee problem. It's a management and staffing problem. Watching these young employees--who appeared to be high school or college-aged--do everything they could to remain kind, professional, and efficient while being set up to fail was genuinely upsetting. No employee should be expected to serve an entire packed store while also maintaining cleanliness and preparing for closing. At minimum, a rush like this should have had multiple employees dedicated to serving customers, with another person focused on cleaning and operational tasks. As a customer, I was less bothered by the wait than I was by watching two people shoulder an impossible workload. It also raised concerns about whether employees are realistically able to take their required breaks when staffing is this inadequate. Kayla and Ishmael deserve recognition, a substantial raise, and sincere appreciation for maintaining professionalism under circumstances that would overwhelm almost anyone. They represented your business far better than your management did. Management needs to do better. This level of understaffing is unacceptable, especially during predictable peak business hours. It's 2026--businesses know when their busiest seasons are. Proper staffing isn't a luxury; it's a basic responsibility to both employees and customers. To Kayla and Ishmael: if you're reading this, thank you for your hard work. You deserve to work for an employer that values your time, your well-being, and your effort.

The flavor selection is rather small, but that means they get to focus more on the quality of their product. You can literally taste the difference just by sampling. Though I wanted everything (lmao), I ended up buying a single scoop each of rosemary and first date. Date is a classic & yummy flavor if you're in Palm Springs, duh... Rosemary, however, was interesting. I was worried it'd be too "grassy" or pungent because rosemary is a stronger tasting herb, but to my surprise, super well balanced with its vanilla bean base. Seriously, it was delicious. I'd like to come back for their rose pistachio and lemon meringue pie, if they still have those available. Highly recommend this spot especially if you've been hiking or out in the sun all day, it genuinely hit the spot. 100/10!!!!

The portion served by the friendly female was massive and I enjoy their ice cream since it's not overly sweet. There were approximately 15 people already ahead of us in line, so we waited our turn like everyone else. Around 9:58 PM, two employees came outside and announced that the two parties directly ahead of my daughter and me would be the last customers they would serve, and that everyone behind them needed to leave because they were "already closed." I understand it was close to 10:00 PM, and I completely respect that employees want to close on time after a busy holiday. However, the store was not technically closed yet, and there were no employees outside beforehand directing the line or letting customers know where the cutoff would be. Had someone been managing the line earlier, customers could have made an informed decision instead of standing there waiting. What upset me the most was what happened next. After my daughter, I, and several others walked away as instructed, the party directly behind us was allowed to remain in line and continue waiting. That was not the right move to make. If there was going to be a cutoff, it should have been applied fairly and consistently to everyone. Allowing people behind us to stay after telling us to leave made the situation feel unfair and left a very poor impression. This wasn't about missing out on ice cream it was about the lack of organization, communication, and fairness. As someone who has supported Handel's for years, I expected much better customer service. On a busy holiday like the Fourth of July, it's understandable that things get hectic, but that's exactly when clear communication and proper line management matter the most. If management has any questions about this review, I encourage you to review your security camera footage between 9:52 PM and 9:58 PM on the Fourth of July. It should verify exactly what occurred and how the line was handled. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but I also hope management takes this as an opportunity to improve how closing procedures are communicated and enforced so future customers aren't put in the same situation.
