I've been to this place a few times. Everytime I've been here I've spend over 3 hours just got a mani and a pedi. And trust me I've never gotten any complicated designs. I had an appointment there on Saturday at 3 and by the time I left the place it was after 6 pm!! I had asked for an abstract kind of design which they said they could do with the gold flakes (see photo) and guess what! They couldn't. They tried at least ten times in my pinky, two of them did and they couldn't do it. I spent over an hour getting nothing accomplished. The lady who did my nails tried really hard and she was the sweetest, we had really nice conversations and she was very very patient. However, the other lady, she might be the owner, tried it too and she was rough and rude. At one point, she just handled my pinky really rough, I could tell she was very frustrated with idk me or the lady who did my nails. They had also quoted additional $30 for the mani which I had agreed to. They wasted their nail polish and time and I also wasted over 3 hours when it should've been not more than an hour long affair. Now, onto the more serious thing. I have a pretty painful toe nail infection. This is not the first time it's happened to me at Gelish but it's the first time I'm posting about it because it's not a coincidence anymore. It's midnight, I'm traveling in a state where they don't have Kaiser (my insurance is with them), and my toe is swollen, infected, and I'm in a lot of pain. This is serious. Not sure if it's a hygiene issue or them clipping my toenails wrong. It's not ok, they will not be getting my business anymore. Also, any time you ask for any design they'll start talking to each other, everyone starts looking at you, and multiple of those ladies come to the table to see wtf is going on. I feel so guilty asking for services that I'm more than willing to pay for. I'm paying you all, why are you judging me? Also on a $98 bill, I paid a $40 tip despite having to waste my whole day there because I didn't want them to feel bad but I'm suffering right now! PS sorry for crusty toe photos read more

I'm never coming here, I basically came for the massage my coworker goes here and she gets a lot of stuff done -I've been here before, but it was really bad this time... I don't usually get pedis that often I just felt like a massage I do my pedis and I have someone else that does my manicure nails from home, but at times I want to got to a shop... these jerks money hungry using the pandemic ---- I got a basic pedi for $35 for "regular" nail polish surprisingly -/- shocker ...go figure after 5 nails polishes I picked they didn't have regular they do it on purpose so your forced to get gel ---so they charge you $15 for gel do my bill was $51 I gave her a $2 tip she would have gotten more if they didn't charge so much glades - if I did go back or to another nail Shop I'll bring my own nail color save me the $15 ‍ zero stars read more

I got my gel manicure done by Nancy today and I must say she was very very detailed at making sure my nail shape was on point and even when applying the nail polish she was very careful and took her time. I love the fact that she did that, she was very kind and I can definitely say I am going back to her. I recommend coming to Gelish nails. Perfect service and great customer service! read more

Terrible manicure and pedicure !! If you're looking for cheap nail place with terrible service this is your place! They didn't file my nails out evenly, they left one side looking totally different from eachother (sloppy work)and they painted my nails with globs of nail polish that when it dried it had a bunch of bubbles in it! Awful place to go! Spend some more in a better place and avoid the disaster experience I had! read more

The only reason I give 3 stars is because I understand the owner just have birth 2 weeks ago and she's short on staff so she's there working. But that doesn't mean that you have inexperienced people working as nail technicians. I came in yesterday morning at 10:30am to get a full set and a fill for my mother. The owner told me to sit, wait and pick a color. We waited about 15 mins then both got seated. First I'll tell you, the lady who was doing my nails took 20 mins to cut my nails. Another 20 to file MY REAL NAILS. I told her I was getting a full set. She kept getting up and leaving for like 5 mins at a time. When she started glueing the fake nail onto my real one that took a whole another 20 mins. And she put so much damn glue. That she starts to file it down with the electric filer, burning my natural nails!!! She stopped. And began to add the acrylic. I kid you not. It looked my bumps of hunk all over my nails. It looked like I had mountains on my nails!! After 1hour and like 30 mins of that. Once she finished putting the acrylic. I demanded that the owner stopped working on who's nails she was doing and fix my nails. Then she did and she apologized, saying, sorry, were short staff right now. That's my pedicurist she doesn't know how to do nails. Like wtf. Why would you let her do my nails then? Waste a whole 1hr & 30 mins. To then sit a whole another 30 mins to get them fixed. Ridiculous! I could've waited for an actual licensed nail tech. Instead of sitting and letting a lady burn my finger nails by filing them down so hard and wasting my time!! And I was still charged $70.00 for what, I couldn't even get a 10% discount or something for that horrible service. This is what I get for trying to find a cheaper nail shop. I paid only $30 less than I would've at my regular nail shop to sit an extra 40 mins for nothing. Definitely wont be coming back here! read more

People there very friendly and welcoming. I heard a lot of great reviews so I decided to give it a chance. Nancy was great. Very accommodating the color I picked was pretty unique looking color not too many other nails salons have this type of peachy coal glitter. This place, is super great! It was my 1st time coming here. When we 1st walked in, they greeted us. And asked us what we wanted. Knowing the fact they were busy already.. got a mani and pedi with my sseesstar.. we got this package when they put hot rocks, hot towels, scented sea salt scrub on the legs. It was $40. It's honestly worth it.. the mani was perfect also.. But the thing that only sucked was, the water wasn't to warm.. but everything else made up for it.. also, wished we where offered wine also. This 2 star review after my 4 star review was prompt due to a helper liking and voting for my review! I should've waited a week at least then had posted my initial review! I was HEARTBROKEN when my pani full gel set that cost me $80 started to come off one by one within 4 days!! I was disgusted, disappointed and felt like been robbed off of my hard earned money. I love this shop! Nancy is my technician. She does amazing work! It's hard to find salons offering builder gel manicures. They were a game changer for me (I am very active and am hard on my nails). Builder gel is long lasting and Nancy's never chip. If it weren't for nail outgrowth, my nails stay looking as fresh as the day I left the shop after weeks have past. Nancy takes her time and works hard to please her customers. All the ladies working here are extremely nice. Very friendly! I appreciate how welcome they make me feel upon arrival and when I leave (in addition to how pleased I am with Nancy's work). Visits to Gelish always put me in a good mood. Good vibes and good work! My usual nail lady didn't have convenient hours where I could come in for an appointment. I was so bummed too because I like going to see her but I wanted to treat myself to a mani/pedi for my birthday. This place appears run down inside and their nail polishes seemed old but then I realized when I paid you could pick nail polishes from the other side of the nail salon. There were 2 ladies who did my manicure and pedicure. Both gave fine, basic services but as for customer service, there really wasn't any. The woman who did my toes checked me out and pointed to the receipt and just kept pointing to the tip portion and had to repeat that I would give cash for a tip. A basic manicure was $18, classic pedicure was $27. I won't be returning. read more

I had a nail emergency and my regular shop was closed. Gelish was one of the places I could find that had a higher rating, so I decided to give it a try. I got my nails done by Nancy. My dip set itself isn't bad, but for some reason she had a very hard time finding the color I asked for. I was flexible, but just asked that there was no glitter. When she started doing the dip, I noticed that the color she picked out was shimmery. At that point I didn't want to complain or continue to ask , so I just relented and let it happen. The color isn't necessarily bad, but it's not what I asked for. The real reason I'm giving 2 stars is because homegirl filed my nails like she was mad at me. Super aggressive! She made my thumb bleed, and just continued on like she didn't notice. Now, I have a little cut on my thumb. Nothing major, but also not acceptable. read more

I used to be a regular customer (6 years) here because my previous technician Tim was very good but he no longer works there. So I had Nancy help me. I had the worst nail salon experience ever. First, she started without cleaning cuticles. (She explained there was $5 charge for that.) Excuse me??? Second, she did such a rough scrub that she broke the skin on 4 of my fingers. After I pointed it out, she began to act so rudely and just tried to rush me to finish and leave. I ended up leaving without getting the full service, but was still charged the full charge. Now it's day 3, and the areas of my skin where Nancy cut are still red and swollen. I cannot even touch water. Just made an appointment with the doctor, and fingers crossed, I hope they are not infected. read more

I use to be a regular and the reason why that I'm not today is because they're not honest with their pricing and overcharges everyone. I made an appointment on a Wednesday around 12:45 for a mani and Pedi. I only go to Nancy since I liked her work from previous times that I've gone there. That day they overbooked themself and she was rushing because her next appointment was at 2 pm. I felt bad when her customer came in and she was still working on me and I told her "hey I know your customer is here and I can come back later on today." She responded " ok thank you so much and yes come back around 5-6 pm. I'll give you my number and text you when I'm ready." I told her okay, no problem. When it was time to pay I asked her how much is it today she said $45 for a gel pedicure. Now, I didn't mention from the beginning that I brought my GEL nail polish and didn't use theirs so realistically she shouldn't charge me extra for gel. I paid and left her a tip (even tho I was very angry) I politely left the salon. When I got to my car I texted her and let her know how I felt and how she wasn't honest about the charges. She read the text message and never responded. With that type of dishonesty and poor customer service, I will never spend my money with them again. It's the principal and honest work for me. Well when Cindy was there it was great, a happy place. Now they say new management they are rude extremely rude they speak in their language which I find disrespectful. They did not honor last management gift receipt. Called my 7 year old granddaughter a liar. Beyond rude. Time to go elsewhere. Being going to this place for years the whole family. Came in here for a manicure and left a happy customer. I called before to make sure they had availability, which they did. Extra point for being at a convenient location. The prices were reasonable and I could tell their customers were loyal. I'll be back again! New Management! I have been coming here since Cindy owned Gelish nails and it is now owned by Nancy and she does an amazing jobs with nails too!!! Everyone there is always so nice; yes they speak in their language (I've seen the other reviews), but it's what they feel comfortable with amongst themselves... just engage, be nice, and help them learn some better English :) Pedicures are great as well! I came to this shop from Livermore because it was really hard to find local places that do hard gel and It was totally worth the drive (even though it's not super far from me). The owner is super welcoming and made sure to know my name and was appreciative that I found her shop through Yelp. Just from listening to her conversations with customers you know she takes the time to know each person and remembers them when they call over the phone. My nails looks exactly how I pictured they would and the shape is amazing. I will be back!!! read more

I have been coming here for the last week 3 years and the staff here is awesome. Starting from the owner to the entire staff. When I first started my mom and I were coming and now fast forward to 3 years later my whole family comes. My two sisters, my niece and my elderly father who never let anyone touch his feet. My mom and I come together as our quality time together the Tin and TrIsh are the dynamic duo. Trish- she's the girl! She does my nails every two weeks and every time I leave I feel satisfied and really happy. I love the fact that she looks at every detail and makes sure it's perfect before leaving. Tin- both my sister and mom get their nails done by him. He is awesome and knows what he is doing. He is quick but pays close attention to the detail. Was so excited to try this place out because a friend gave a gift card. In general I felt it was a little bit pricey but the manicurist are great at what they do and very knowledgeable. I got hombre nails done with Tim. He was nice and likes to sing. Also got waxing and don't recommend it there because it was pricey compared to other places and lefts spots of hair. read more

After 25 mins of waiting, the front desk lady gave me a bowl to start soaking my hands and she said "they're coming soon." They never communicated an apology or explanation that this would be a delayed appointment. Normal courtesy from salons is to give a heads up if it's 10-15 mins late. I waited 30 minutes and just decided to leave. As I was walking out the front desk person asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no thanks and she just sighed as I was walking out. Never got an apology til the end..

First, the tech showed up late, but I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a problem. As for the actual work, my cuticles could've been cleaned up better on both my hands and my feet. I paid for gel nails thinking they would last longer, but they started chipping after a little over a week. The biggest issue, though, was my eyebrow wax. My eyelid actually got burned during the service, and three weeks later, I still have a mark from it. I tried reaching out to them privately through their contact form to show them the photos and ask for a refund on the wax service only, but they never bothered to reply. It's a bummer because the day started out nice, but between the burn, the mark still being there, the nails not lasting, and being ignored regarding the burn, it left a sour taste.

I always come here for my nails and I never leave disappointed. Gelish nails is my to-go nail place. The staff is very friendly and service is truly amazing. The pricing is unbeatable compared to other nail shops. I usually ask for Trish, who does killer stilleto shapes and amazing designs. This particular set was done by Cindy who listened and delivered excellence. She took her time with each individual nail to make sure they were perfect. read more

I always leave unsatisfied from many nail salons because I always have the luck of leaving with weirdly shaped nails when I just want the coffin shape. I have had pedicures from Lan H Ly Le for many years, and travel to Gelish Nails to see her. She is careful and thorough with her pedicure, giving the best leg massage. She is a master at making my nails look beautiful and my legs and feet feel great. Gelish is bright and cheery, and really welcoming. They provide drinks and snacks. It's in the neighborhood is by my house, but this time around my friend had paid for it and she had to leave early due to the fact that she was finished already and her set was $50. Well they charged me $85 and she took five dollars off so she gave me the whole set for $75 dollars which to me is still a lot because my friend had to leave and she already prepaid everything after my friend left she just completely stopped doing everything that you're supposed to do. None of the steps were correct. She have asked everything you could see. She didn't even cut my cuticles. She didn't prep the nail. She didn't file the nail. She didn't shape the nail she basically just like like really I could've glued some nails on that looked better than these and right now they're feeling wobbly my cuticles. You can see a hangnail right there on the right hand or like all the glue is all over me she, my nails are still dirty underneath she did me dirty because it was already prepaid. I understand it was late and I was the last customer, but that's not right. This is still your work and I still am a paid customer and that wasn't fair just because it was prepaid. She either had something personal against me. I know she was tired but still this is your work and really though I really feel like if I did not pay first, she would've done a better job and that to me was disrespectful and a slap in the face and unprofessional or she just isn't that great which I don't believe she said she's been doing it for 10 years and I don't believe that 10 years your work would look so bad.
