The positives: Communication was great and they were very responsive. On the day of the job, they were punctual and confirmed the job details before starting. The baseboards and the bathroom were cleaned well. Negative: The kitchen however, was a half-assed job. The white chemical residue from the cleaning product was left behind inside the oven and I had to clean the rest of the oven myself as you can see by the black stained rag and black water in the photos. The outside of the microwave was wiped down but the inside was completely overlooked. There were crumbs and food stains as shown in the photo. I would be embarrassed to recommend this company to friends and family and in the future I will do better research.

I forget the movers names but they were both prompt, handled my items delicately with care, didn't take their sweet time they worked very very hard, disassembled and reassembled a near 50 year old antique silik hutch that I have inherited , they moved everything exactly where it needed to be in my new place, were very polite and respectful and did not damage anything or steal at all. I've dealt with another moving company in the past where I suspected some jewelry went missing. They are the quickest at responses, very reasonable pricing, flexible with their schedules, all in all I am very satisfied and have asked them to move another thing for me as well. 10/10 recommend. Thankfully I had just put towels into washer with some detergent before the water started flowing. I called Ohana Appliance Repair and a sweet lady answered my call, on a Sunday! She informed me that I would be added to Dustin's schedule and he would get back to me. I was waiting for a call tomorrow (Monday) but a white van appeared in my driveway and it was Dustin. He was in the Mililani area and saw my name and address on the request list and decided to stop by. I was nearly in tears! My 14 year old dog just passed away, now the washer is down but this sweet gentleman made the time. Turns out that the electric board was shot, and doing a price search revealed the new electric board and labor would be pretty expensive. Dustin suggested looking into buying a new washer since fixing it would be over half of what a new washer would cost. I asked Dustin if he accepted Venmo so I could pay him for the consultation. Dustin politely refused payment. It's a Sunday, Dustin could've very well been at home with his lovely wife and their new puppy, (yes, we shared our love of dogs with each other). Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for this way beyond exceptional service by Dustin at Ohana Appliance Repair. Also of importance is I have a 12 year old Dachshund who always barks at strangers especially men. Nope, not today. Brownie simply went to Dustin and gave him a good sniffing and approved of him. After I parked, I went to the door marked Office but it was locked so I headed past the Coke vending machine and entered thru the huge warehouse door and immediately to the left was the order window with a huge sign below showing the prices for ice. I rang the bell on the counter & was nicely greeted by a friendly young lady. She asked me how I was paying & that if I am using a card to go ahead & use the ordering kiosk to the right. It's pretty user friendly, very easy to use. Once I paid and got my receipt, she told me someone will bring my order out. I don't think I even waited 5 minutes before a guy brought my bag out and I was on my way. I did do a double take when I saw the price for dry ice, 5 lbs for $28? Roughly $6/lb - wow! Did not expect that but since I needed it, had to get it. The rest of the prices for the regular ice were within reason. Sean seemed like an honest person; I got an upfront estimate on a quarterly maintenance program, but he also said the traps we already laid out could be enough to keep bugs out. He also let me know that there are other things I could do myself before committing to the maintenance program. Within a day or two I got a email with more details on the maintenance program, along with the pictures he took of each hole in my unit. So even though it had only been an initial inspection, I got enough information to be satisfied with Pest Tech Hawai'i.

Without my permission, the crew drove a heavy vehicle onto my driveway and lawn, leaving noticeable indentations. They also turned the vehicle's tires while on the grass, tearing up and damaging the lawn. I contacted the company by phone, left a message through their AI system (which is just horrible as you don't get to talk to a real person. Guess their way of not having to get back to you.) and followed up with a detailed email requesting that someone contact me to discuss resolving the damage. Despite these efforts, I have received no response. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the lack of communication and customer service afterward. I simply wanted to discuss the damage and find a resolution, but my calls and email have gone unanswered.

After my physical therapy session in Kaka'ako finding a spot to recycle was easy as a Yelp check and had no idea that this location right across from the Kalihi Palama Health Center was available and with a quick drive through downtown it was so easy to find and with a surprisingly decent sized lot there was lots of parking to unload your recyclables to the usual provided bins to be processed was just too easy as the guys have a wonderful system with one putting it in the bins to be weighed as the other calculate it I was done in an instant. There's also a T&N Recycling Service bin as well where you can drop off your electronics which is free to do so and is easy as just placing them in the cute little hut as you're able to get multiple disposable done is nice and convenient so there's no additional drive to do so is so recommended to visit this location. Recycling in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. I had a bunch of cans and plastic bottles in my car... ready for the closest Recycling center. I used my Yelp app and found RRR Recycling on King Street. There were a couple of customers before me, but the two workers were efficient and quick! I poured my cans in one green plastic barrel and poured my plastic bottles into another green barrel. The worker emptied my Recycling into other gray barrels - and scanned for undesirable bottles - which I didn't have! My items were weighed and I got paid. I didn't have to sign anything (like at the other places). It was a bit less than what I was calculating (because I had counted my items)... that's ok... just a few cents... I'm grateful for the convenience! I'll be back!
