What a wonderful place. Found this store while eating at The Cliffhouse about 7 years ago - 2016. Bought a ring. This year 2023 I wound up there early January and my stone had chipped and asked if they could replace. Jocelyn called owner and they said they would change out stone. It was a very nominal fee. I left it there as I was heading back to the east coast. Well low and behold it came four days later via USPS. Stone is more gorgeous than when I bought it. Cannot believe the service and how they stand by their products. This cut of the stone is always getting complemented! Photo isn't the best - doesn't capture the light or the sparkling of the ring. I think next time I'm there I'll get a gold setting with a colored stone. I currently have a silver setting with the clear stone. read more

He was so dismissive and condescending that my friend and I walked away remarking about the fact we would never purchase anything from him because of his nasty attitude. LOVE this shop! Perfectly handcrafted jewelry that the shop owner and his dad have been creating together for years. Unfortunately his dad passed away so the son is now taking care of all the jewelry and he is kind, courteous, and helpful. I spotted a beautiful ring here that I just had to have and it is one of the most sparkly and eye catching pieces of jewelry I own. I constantly get compliments on it and I always refer them back to the studio if they're looking for something classy, delicate, and UNIQUE. All his pieces are handmade one of a kind originals (although he switches the metals if you prefer gold vs silver or any other metal). He also has some more flashy styles if that's your thing, I prefer delicate and understated so he caters to both which is nice. I picked up a necklace here as well as his signature style "The Laguna Wave" earrings for two friends of mine who LOVED them. They really capture the light in a brilliant fashion. I rarely, rarely give 5-stars but this little store has the right price points and hand-designed rings, necklaces that are perfect to give as gifts as well as purchase for yourself. It is also located in the heart of the Laguna Hills Arts District and a great place to stroll, eat and shop. I get compliments every time I wear my Fountain Design pendant! My relative who lives nearby, brings everyone who visits over to the store--a go to place if you're gift shopping in the Laguna Beach area. Berran, who helped my boyfriend pick out a gift for me also mentioned the store's friendly repair and jewelry service, where you can mail back your jewelry just in case of repair or resetting. Also sold in the store are beautiful crystals as well as handmade gifts. You can also find the same items on their website, which also announces deep discounts and sales on certain items. Stopped for lunch at The Cliff today with my husband and mother-in-law, and the crystals in the window really caught my attention - they were breath-taking !! Wandered in to look at them since we had a short wait for lunch and fell in love with a lovely piece of silver wire-wrapped aqua aura on a silver chain. The owner answered my tons of questions about his crystals and where he got them and his gems from - it was a very engaging conversation. I can't afford the prices on aquamarine (which I covet), but the aqua aura is a lovely and similar color. His work is beautiful and you can tell he is very passionate. I came across this studio while on vacation. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I found a pair of earrings, but they were not the stone I wanted. Within five minutes a pair of earrings were made exactly as I wanted. While in the studio I noticed a necklace design using foreign currency. I asked as to whether I could mail a coin I had and have it made into the necklaces I saw in the studio. This is my very favorite jewelry store on the planet! I discovered it on a trip to Laguna Beach in 2006, in which I bought what are still my favorite earrings of all time.. the very classy clear Topaz w/ silver Laguna Wave.. an original design, as is all of their beautiful handcrafted jewelry! I also later purchased the matching necklace and after losing it while dancing, I bought another one. Over the years, I have lost one or both earrings and have always replaced them, as well. I even requested purchasing only one, instead of a pair when I was thinking the other would eventually show up. The response from them was wonderful, as they were happy to honor this request more than once! I have had nothing but really fabulous customer service every time I have placed an order! I've spoken with some great, cheerful people there and I've received my order quite promptly with every single purchase. In fact, I am posting this now because somehow one of my earrings had come loose from the setting, a first, and when I emailed them to ask if I could send it in, here was the reply that I received from Baruch, "Please send in the earrings and they will be repaired. No charge. Have a great day!" How fabulous is that?? :-) I wish every business owner would provide this degree of excellent customer service! I bought a sterling silver ring here 1.5 years ago for what I thought was an amazing price. The center stone is a sizable synthetic white topaz and the side stones are opal composite. It is gorgeous! From the Laguna Wave jewelry set, to last year's fanfare ring, their quality is spectacular, and their customer service unprecedented. A So. Cal native, I moved to MN many years ago. It was such a pleasure and delight to find GMS in the Grandstand at the MN State Fair. Their store in Laguna is great, but it is so nice to be able to see a little bit of So.
