The vibe was completely different than the dealership, as I felt like the folks at Max Automotive genuinely cared about getting me taken care of and figuring what the issue was with the vehicle. They also understood that at over 20 years old and nearly 200,000 miles, I wasn't going to perform any heroics for this car. Luckily we were a few miles from home and let it cool so we could drive instead of walking 2 miles in 100+ temps. Christian Brothers put us in a really dangerous position. When we had to get the Ford fixed for the second time that was a red flag that we should've listened to. But because we needed our overheated Trax towed, it was easiest to go with Christian Brothers.
