I had to come here two days in a row and both evenings, the customer service was amazing. They frequently acknowledged customers even while there was a wait and were always positive. I must admit there was a snafu with the first time I came and my tire replacement didn't go as it should have which brought my unhappy return the next evening. However- of any business I've been to, none has taken such responsibility and ownership as Discount Tire. I respect their commitment to "make it right". I would return and recommend them simply because even if things don't go as planned, they truly stand behind their work and will make it right if it isn't right the first time. My 2 year old and I came out to Arizona to help some family and found out we had been driving on extremely dangerous tires (literally three of the four tires with wires showing). Payton not only ordered our tires, but made the process extremely easy and honestly pleasant. This means A LOT because the previous days leading up to talking to Payton have been quite a nightmare because the tire size on my car is unusually and many tire places weren't even able to get them. I understand that a business that wants to make money, however when you promote flat tire repair especially when it is free you got to understand the average driver doesn't want a new tire, it's a simple fix and go. this place used a ridiculous phone like device to check the tread on my rear passenger tire that had two nails in the middle of it He then said my tread is bald in the middle......the tire is a month old!!! I literally don't understand the obsession with so many people in this community lining up to get their tires filled with air. It's a little disconcerting that so many of you are driving around with inadequate tire pressure. I was visiting in town and I had to take my mom's car there to get leveled off before we took it in for a repair. The line queues up around the Einstein bagels and if you messed up or cut the line someone will inevitably get out of their car to yell at you. This is the most comical thing I've ever seen in my life when it's ready you'll pull forward and the attendant will go ahead and ask you what is necessary. I have seen some people tip although today I did not have any cash on me. It was a five minute fill up if that and I was on my merry way. The actual location was very busy with people getting tire repairs and at the time I was there about 9 AM on a Monday morningthe wait for that was like 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Again, there's a concern that you all are driving around with your wonky tires. Obviously there is no charge for the service. Just bring your patience. Additionally, I've heard from my family that it is always like this at this location. Closed on Sundays. Opens at 8 AM. Again very bizarre overall and very comical in general, but the service was friendly and fast. read more

Tire pressure checks, rotations, and some service. 12/19/25 I went back due to my Nissan Pathfinder wheel nuts swollen up and couldn't be removed. Kenny, the manager, assisted me, provided great pricing on replacement, 1 piece, chrome (M12 1.25) nuts, and had them installed within 1/2 hour. I went to discount tire on Presidents' Day, where a screw in the tire,, in the store I was contacted by Justin who confirmed the screw was in my tire and advised me that all four tires were really worn which I was aware of already,, I have advised him that I was interested in buying four new tires, he was informed on what tires I needed, which I did buy,, he was very helpful and promised a certain time the car would be ready,, the technician (Joey)that put the tires on was very apologetic cause they were 15 minutes over the time that was promised,, I advise. Made an appt this time cause I was a little bit under a time constraint. Walked it at 8:15 and there was already a huge line. When I got up to the gentleman checking people in, I asked if it would be long cause if so I would totally reschedule and it was no problem for me to do so. He said it would be no issue since I had an appt. I was going in for a rotation but also needed to replace my tires but wasn't sure if they could do it then (tires maybe not in stock and my time constraint) but the guy who helped me was super friendly and efficient. Been a discount tire customer for years. Have always had great service here. I've even had nail repair done for free even with tires I didn't buy there. And that's one reason why I stick with discount tire now. Almost always the best prices as well. I think at this point every car I own is rolling on discount tire tires. Anyway. This location is no exception. Great service. Friendly. On time. Conveniently located. And payment options. Most recently I had tires installed on my Mercedes. We have been costumers here for years, but! We have had my wife's explorer in for a rr tire leak. Last time in again, some time later got the text, " vehicle is ready ". They were sleezy salesmen, very disrespectful, gave me incorrect information and outright lied to me. You have to stop giving them the business.. they've gotten too kookie and sleasy. First they made me wait a long time to get waited on as they were "bullshitting" and laughing with their friends so i must have been waiting for 15 to 20 minutes, they lied to me about the type of tires Michelin made , and then told me only one type of Michelin was made for my type of car which was not only incorrect, but the tires they wanted to sell me were for snow and rain, not the desert. And then they made up a reason why the tires that Michelin had that were guaranteed for 60,000 miles, would actually be guaranteed for only 30K. As i said sleezy and liars, and no where close to giving me a reasonable price. Don't trust them. And this applies to both their stores in Surprise. read more

I visited the store on 10/04/25 and worked with Dillon Knapp, and once again, his customer service was outstanding. The moment I walked in, Dillon instantly recognized me, remembered the car I drive, and even recalled what had happened during my last visit--despite it being a couple of months ago. This was only my second time working with him, but both experiences have been excellent. The first was about two months ago when I came in with a nail in my tire. Dillon took care of everything quickly and had me back on the road in under an hour. On my most recent visit, I had another flat from a nail. Unfortunately, the tire couldn't be repaired, but Dillon immediately reassured me that they had a replacement ready, though it was a different brand. Instead of just leaving it at that, he went the extra mile by locating the exact same tire I needed at another store. He personally called, stayed on the line until they confirmed they had it in hand, and even had them hold it under my name since it was the last one available. I've never had a bad experience with Discount Tire, and service like this is why I remain a loyal customer. Dillon is the kind of representative I will always seek out and recommend to others. The experience was painless! Normally, when you get a flat, it's nothing but hassle. Having my truck worked on at a different business, the technician noticed a huge nail that was in my tire... which explained the dropping tire pressure I noted on startup that morning. I filled the tire to its normal pressure earlier to see how much it was leaking, and it was dropping about a little more than 1 psi per hour. The technician doing the work in my truck said they could fix the flat, but had I ever been to nearby Discount Tire? They recommended that I take my truck there. It required a simple fix, Jacob told me. They'd have my truck in when a stall opened and repair the tire. It was done in no time at all and then the surprise: there was no charge. That's right: no charge. Big O Tires charged me $48 to fix a flat. A business in Alamo, NV charged $109 (no tow service for 40-50 miles, either). Guess who gets my new tire order? One other thing: normally, any time you go to any business having to do with vehicles, there's one word should be aware of: upsell. Buy this, you need that, for an extra charge you can have the premium service, yanno? A hundred different ways to vacuum money out of the pockets of consumers. (Car washes are the worst!) My Discount Tire tech guy, Jacob, asked me if I'd had my windshield wipers replaced in the past year: as a matter of fact, I was headed to my favorite auto parts store after getting the tire repaired. Long story short: Discount Tire was having a sale, and their brand is rated good quality. I asked my car guru about them and he recommended that I purchased them (my car guru hasn't been wrong yet, except on football games). Our wheel almost fell off. Thankfully my husband was able to pull over on the side of the road. But now there's threads are completely stripped and our wheel is damaged. So I had to call them to see, they said come in and we'll get it on. I get to the store and it's a 2 hour wait to swap a tire. They will check your tire in your ears and no charge and give you a visual inspection of your tires which with the changing to a cold and warm temperatures is really important.
