I have a generator that dates back to 2007, so when I was informed by the installing company that it had bitten the dust I hardly questioned the verdict - it was 18 years old! Today Mr. Hoffman from Gen-Tech came to do an estimate for a new generator. When he saw that I have a generator he advised me it was possible it could be repaired rather than replaced. He then diagnosed the problem, replaced the faulty part, and ran a test to demonstrate that the generator does work! So now I have a working generator again, and at a fraction of the price it would have cost to replace it with a new one!
