Post op 7 months now…read more I had been trying to establish post op care with a in network bariatric surgeon but it was such a big headache. I asked to get my labs checked and they couldn't even get that right. I reached out to Dr. Doraiswamy after 3 failed attempts. I explained the situation and he quickly got back to me to say not to worry, he will order labs and schedule a phone follow up to review labs. Same day, I got my telehealth appointment scheduled and labs emailed. I went to quest that weekend and got the done in preparation for my call the next week after Easter. Dr. D asked how I have been doing and reviewed the labs. B was a bit high so he recommended reducing to every other day. Vitamin A low but may choose to supplement in diet or via over the counter vitamin. We set some achievable goals with bumping up my exercise to focus on type and duration. I have another follow up call in 4 months. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. D. I am doing well 7 months post op/45 lbs down. Eating has normalized (my new norm). Occasional nausea which he explained to avoid drinking with meals. This will cause that weird funnel overflowing effect which will cause nausea. No other side effects that I have noted. This has been a very comfortable journey thus far. He has been a stellar surgeon before and after surgery. I am so happy I can still follow up with him throughout my journey to a healthier me. If you are contemplating any weight loss surgery, I continue to highly recommend Dr. D. He is the best! Also, special thanks to the office staff for being responsive and efficient with scheduling.

First let me start by saying I've been a patient of Naim Kassar for many decades. I have 5 kids…read morewhich he delivered. Never once have I had a negative experience. He is always in a great mood, polite, he has a cute personality and just makes me feel completely comfortable. I want to add my 25 year old daughter is a patient of his as well. She's been with him since she was 18. She also feels completely comfortable with him. Dr.Kassar has done a few surgeries on me which were done at Foothill Press Hospital in Glendora. Yesterday I had bladder surgery of course done by Kassar but this time at the surgical center behind his office. I'd like to say the staff there is outstanding. Jasmine was my nurse. She was great! Jasmine was super friendly, My anxiety was through the roof. I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to needles. She did a great job on my IV. She paid close attention to everything I had to say with all my concerns. She really explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood. She continuously checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. She's a huge asset to this surgical center. For the life of me I can not remember the lady's name who was my anesthesiologist but she was great. Very personable and also explained everything thoroughly. She could tell my anxiety was high and gave me medicine through my IV to help me out. It made me relax and feel 100x better...She talked me through everything all the way up to when I went to sleep. She's great. Super sweet and great at her job. Thank you very much to all the staff at this surgical center for making my surgery a breeze:-) MB

I had a surgery here in December of 2024 & the main nurse Shes a little small Asian lady (so sorry…read moreforgot her name) is not professional and not good at her job. She did my IV before my surgery and didn't actually get a vein, I told her my arm was getting swollen and she said it was fine. I flagged down a guy nurse who was about to wheel me in, I told him it didn't feel right, he looked and his eyes widened immediately. (edit: he was actually the anesthesiologist now that I remember) He told the nurse she was wrong and didn't get a vein, they had to start a new one. You could tell his frustration with her was a constant thing. Fast forward, my aunt had surgery here about a month ago. What do you guess happened.... SAME SITUATION, SAME NURSE. I think it is ridiculous, she is rude and has the worst bedside manners for a nurse to begin with but she's also not good at her job. This is a scary thing for us undergoing surgery and she tries to act like little mistakes happen & while yes I understand they do, this is just toooo coincidental for me. Two people, same family, years apart. Scary. Anyways, not to scare people but just want to inform people. Advocate for yourself. Don't let this nurse gaslight you. It's your life & your body!

I had surgery a few weeks ago and I realized after I was discharged, that I was not going to be…read moreable to handle the aftercare on my own. I thought if I could find a suitable alternative to burdening my friends and family, I should take it. I know there are facilities that you can go to, but I wanted to be able to be in my own home, in my own bed, in the surroundings I was familiar with. I think this really helps settle your mind when your body is working so hard to heal. My doctor's office highly recommended Era Health and Wellness because I was hoping to find a private nurse to come help me in my home. Kitura, the coordinator, immediately contacted me and made arrangements for one of their expert nurses to assist me as well as arranged for all my transportation needs to and from my doctor visits. Kamerina was my nurse. She made sure all my routine was followed as prescribed by my doctor. She did everything you can expect from a nurse at the hospital without the need to wait for immediate attention when you're in pain. This was extremely comforting. She went out of her way to make sure I was not in any stress and even went on errands to pick up prescriptions and meals. Kitura, also even prepared one of my meals, having been trained at a culinary school. This was a special treat for sure. Having put the worst part of my recovery behind me now, I cannot imagine doing it without the help of Kamerina and Kitura. They were incredible! If I even have the need for private care, I will definitely hire them again.

I recently used Era Health & Wellness aftercare for a surgery I underwent. I can not say enough…read moregood things about this service. Setting it up was very simple. Kitura was so helpful and easy to deal with. There was many moving parts to the surgery and she was there with me every step of the way making sure that everything was covered. She also helped me figure out what items I would need to make my recovery easy which was great. As far as the nurses, I had two, Judith and Ambar. Both women were extremely kind and caring. They took such great care of me and instructed my husband on how to care for me so he knew what to expect when I got home. My husband didn't even have to come to the surgery center for pickup; they handled EVERYTHING. I am so grateful for their care and can not recommend them enough!

I strongly do not recommend taking children here…read more I went to this place one month ago. Three weeks prior I had appointment with Dr Kim, we came in for X-rays and were told there were two cavities that needed fillings, so we scheduled an appointment for fillings last months. When we arrived, the nurse said the previous X-rays were unclear and needed to be retaken entirely. Then Dr. Kim said there were actually five cavities, and that two of them were so severe they might need to be extracted. While my son was having the X-rays taken, he gagged a few times--which is quite common. He did not resist at all throughout the process, but Dr. Kim said he was uncooperative and needed to inhale some gas first, followed by IV sedation to put him to sleep. IV sedation always carries some level of risk, and it's best avoided if possible. As a doctor, you should at least have basic patience. A six-year-old child cannot be expected to sit perfectly still like an adult. During the entire exam, the dentist made no effort to communicate or interact with my child. As a pediatric dentist, if you don't have patience, then you should treat adults instead. I understand that putting a child under general anesthesia makes it easier and faster for you to complete the procedure and move on to the next patient--especially since your income is tied to efficiency. But as a doctor, shouldn't you first consider local anesthesia and try the least invasive approach? Therefore, I strongly, strongly do not recommend the pediatric dentist Dr. Kim at this clinic.
