I have been coming to this AMC for many years now with family to catch our favorite flicks. I have…read morebeen coming more recently because I am an A-List member, as is my buddy. The staff has always been nice, and the popcorn good. I love the popcorn here, I can't seen a movie w/o it. I haven't tried much else on their menu, though they sometimes have interesting flavors on the Coca-Cola freestyle machine . I would say for the most part the auditoriums are clean, but sometimes the more popular films have less time to get them tuned up between screenings. There was one time I was here with family and some teens being rowdy, and the staff stepped in and did their job to quite them down, so kudos. This same visit also saw the fire alarm go off during previews, for reasons that weren't made clear to us. The staff did as well as they could, getting people things out to them, and vouchers to return at another time, though we were able to return inside to see our movie (Jumanji: The Next Level i think?) All in all pretty good for a chain theatre, looking forward to my next movie!

The seats were comfortable but did not recline. The part that ruined this experience was the twenty-eight minutes of previews and advertisements that I was forced to endure before the movie started. At the Cinergy Cinemas in Wheeling there was less than five minutes of preview before the main attraction began. Soda was over $7 each. I don't enjoy these high prices. With an experience like this, it's no wonder why theater attendance is down.

I think the right word to describe Cinergy is "unique" . Came here on V-Day to see Crime 101. A…read moredifferent look and feel compared to theatres like AMC and Regal. It looks quite modern inside, and has more extras for guests including a bar, games etc. The biggest standout and the reason for that wording s the self serve popcorn. (Like, What??) It was an interesting experience to fill my own bucket but it was cool. The popcorn was nothing super special but it was good quality. The staff are friendly enough and I don't really have much negative to say. However, I will say that the process of getting in and having our tickets checked was a bit hectic as they have you go in the side door and wait in a single queue. We tried a pizza from their menu and it was pretty good. Would recommend. Slightly confusing for new comers but not really much to be concerned about. A nice addition to wheeling area and one I hope sticks around for awhile. [Date of Visit: 2/14/26]

When I got to the theater, the seat that I really wanted were empty. In fact, over half the theater was empty. The tickets were $18. Snacks with a drink for 2 people for $23.40. And a small glass of wine cost $10.53. Over $50 for two people to watch a movie. The only reason I gave this review any stars at all was the fact that the theater was exceptionally clean.

We saw The Furious on the lower level and the auditorium was fine. We also saw Scary Movie 6 on the upper level and some of the seats are getting worn out. We don't go to the movies too often but Scary Movie 6 was bad. Too many dumb teenagers or young adults talking (it's hard to tell these days). I'm disappointed in you Schaumburg. Do better.

The QR code wasn't showing up, so he just entered the confirmation number, which allowed him to see our tickets. We then headed to the concessions area where 2 nice employees were working. They were helpful with our order. The freestyle drink machines were plentiful, as well as the butter topping machines. Our movie was upstairs, so we took the long escalator. I would highly recommend that they clean this; the stairs looked filthy. The movie theatre itself was clean and comfortable. I so wish there were tray tables like the Northbrook AMC, but I think they only include those when there's a restaurant amenity. I appreciate that this venue keeps their doors open so that we don't have to touch the handles or, more importantly, hold our concessions while trying to open the door Bathrooms were clean, and the soap dispenser was full. The air conditioning was comfortable. I'd definitely return here to see another film!

It replaced Arclight which was in a decline. The cinema had been renovated 2 years ago. It was a Thursday afternoon, and the cinema was pretty quiet. There were big kiosks for ticket purchases, and the process was quick and easy. We got a small bag (which was not too small) for $10 plus tax, a little pricy for popcorn, but it was good. The popcorn guy was friendly, and he also doubled as the guy to collect our ticket stubs, and informed us which cinema room to go to. We were there for the preview of the movie, and we got the entire cinema #5 to the 3 of us! While the lobby and hallways of the cinema was nice and cool, this room was a little too warm. We totally understood that they would not cool down an entire room when there was no audience inside. I went to talk to the popcorn guy about the air temperature issue, and he promised to have it adjusted. As I went back to the cinema room. We could feel that cool air started to come out, and it was comfortable for the rest of the showing. The chairs were big, clean, and comfortable. Sound and picture were great. The movie itself was enjoyable just like the first time, and the English dubbing was perfect. The entire cinema was very clean. I was especially pleased with their restrooms being spotless clean. There is a bar in the lobby, and across from it was the biggest poster I've ever seen in a cinema lobby, it was a colorful digital poster of Ne Zha 2, very appropriate for such a spectacular movie. When we left the cinema after seeing the movie, there was another guy at the hallway collecting ticket stubs, and there was obviously more audience coming in. We enjoyed this cinema experience very much, and would definitely return to see other movies in the future.
