Or nachos. Or candy. Or if later in the day, a drink at the bar. The movie volume is not excessive. The reclining seats work. And the bathrooms are stocked and clean. One of the key points about this theater is that there are unusually wide rows, so the seats are nicely distributed from front to back. It felt more spacious than other AMC locations. Lastly, parking was a breeze. I think there's a lot less traffic here as the mall scene has declined over the past 10 years. I'm on the A-List, so I'll be back!

The snack options went beyond the basics, and the prices were exactly what I'd expect to pay at home for such a nice setup. The seating was spacious and comfortable with large lounge-style chairs. On the seat map, it looks more like a couch setup, but in reality, they're individual chairs--which still worked out great. One of the standout features was the sports bar inside, which added a really fun vibe, and they even have a special theater designed for watching games. That room has tables, softer lighting, and really makes you feel like you're right there in the middle of the action. There were only a minimal number of staff around, but the ones we interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly, and very nice--which really made the experience even better. Overall, this theater is a step above the rest. Between the comfortable seating, extra amenities, fair prices, and kind staff, it made for a really enjoyable night out with my family. Not only was there nothing in stock such as hot food but it looked like a zoo of animals came in and tore up the place and left the it in shambles with wrappers, popcorn, cups, and everything in disarray. I attended the movie with my family, including my child, hoping to enjoy a fun evening together. We were seated in Row K, seats K14, K15, and K16. Directly behind us, in Row L (approximately seats L10-L17), was a group of teenage boys whose behavior completely ruined our experience. For nearly the entire movie, they were loud, disruptive, and disrespectful. They continuously talked over the dialogue, shouted, whistled, and made inappropriate comments throughout the film. They repeatedly used racial slurs and excessive profanity, including the N-word, F-word, B-word, and C-word. During the scene where Spider-Man kissed MJ, they made loud, vulgar comments that were entirely inappropriate, especially in a theater where families and children were present. Multiple guests, including my family, reported their behavior to theater staff. Despite numerous complaints from several parties, it took nearly two hours for an employee to enter the auditorium. Unfortunately, as soon as the boys noticed staff entering, they immediately became quiet. I had to personally point them out because I was so frustrated that their behavior had gone unaddressed for so long. It was not until the final 30 minutes of the movie that we were finally able to watch in relative peace. By then, however, the experience had already been ruined. We had spent over two hours listening to constant talking, shouting, profanity, and disruptions, making it difficult to even hear or follow the movie. What concerns me just as much as the behavior of these patrons was the lack of urgency shown by your staff. The group was reportedly warned twice, yet meaningful action was never taken until the movie was essentially over. They were only told they would be removed if they continued, but by that point the film was already ending and the credits were beginning. This response was far too late to protect the experience of the paying guests. I am appalled by the lack of timely intervention and the failure to maintain a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment. As paying customers, we expected staff to address this behavior promptly, especially after receiving multiple complaints. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and unless significant improvements are made to how disruptive behavior is handled, I do not plan to return to this theater. I hope you will take this complaint seriously, review what occurred, and consider how situations like this can be handled much more effectively in the future. Additionally, I believe a refund or appropriate compensation is warranted, as we did not receive the movie experience we paid for.

He rented out a theater to show a movie for his mom's 89th birthday w/dinner to follow at Chinese restaurant "Bowl of Fortune" located approximately 1.5 miles away. He sent an invitation to view 1 of 3 movies & left it up the people invited which movie would be selected. So going in we weren't really sure what we were going to see. When we arrived the mystery movie revealed was "The Sound of Music". When we arrived we didn't have to do any ordering because my friend had 2 different tables set up at the front w/a variety of pizzas to choose from. In addition he provided bags of popcorn & drinks for the attendees so all he had to do was to pick up some food grab a seat, kick back & relax & enjoy the show. If you've never been to Cinergy it's a truly amazing theater w/super comfortable lounge chairs that can be in an upright position or recline to a horizontal position if desired. Like I said you can order food to be brought to your chair if that's what you want. What an awesome surprise for his mom, her family & friends & his friends. (Yours truly lol ).

It replaced Arclight which was in a decline. The cinema had been renovated 2 years ago. It was a Thursday afternoon, and the cinema was pretty quiet. There were big kiosks for ticket purchases, and the process was quick and easy. We got a small bag (which was not too small) for $10 plus tax, a little pricy for popcorn, but it was good. The popcorn guy was friendly, and he also doubled as the guy to collect our ticket stubs, and informed us which cinema room to go to. We were there for the preview of the movie, and we got the entire cinema #5 to the 3 of us! While the lobby and hallways of the cinema was nice and cool, this room was a little too warm. We totally understood that they would not cool down an entire room when there was no audience inside. I went to talk to the popcorn guy about the air temperature issue, and he promised to have it adjusted. As I went back to the cinema room. We could feel that cool air started to come out, and it was comfortable for the rest of the showing. The chairs were big, clean, and comfortable. Sound and picture were great. The movie itself was enjoyable just like the first time, and the English dubbing was perfect. The entire cinema was very clean. I was especially pleased with their restrooms being spotless clean. There is a bar in the lobby, and across from it was the biggest poster I've ever seen in a cinema lobby, it was a colorful digital poster of Ne Zha 2, very appropriate for such a spectacular movie. When we left the cinema after seeing the movie, there was another guy at the hallway collecting ticket stubs, and there was obviously more audience coming in. We enjoyed this cinema experience very much, and would definitely return to see other movies in the future.

I love Genesee Theater!…read more This smaller vintage theater has charm and elegance inside and out. The large chandeliers are gorgeous. The staff scanning tickets and the ushers are warm and welcoming. They were very helpful. All seats offer a great view. The first two rows cause you to loop up at the stage so I would recommend at least a few isles back. The shows they offer are diverse and plentiful. The more popular shows create a bit of traffic. There is street parking and a nearby parking garage.
