I was a little limited by my need for 8 smaller and 6 larger handles but I was drawn to one handle almost immediately and they had just enough small handles and more than enough large handles. So happy! I made my purchase within 15 minutes! With multiple employees saying, "Have a nice day!" Unfortunately these were unlike most ithwr handles as they only came with 1 inch screws instead of those AND 1.5 inch - so I ran back to them and they quickly found me 30 breakaway screws that go up to 2.5inches - no hassle, no problems, just found me screws, bagged them, and apologized - not their fault! Not a fault! All good! My vanity looks great with the handles, now just waiting for the countertop! If you have time and remember to order, their selection is much larger than what you can get on the spot, some of it quite fun, and the easiest way to change out a look in your bathroom! LOVE!

I walked to the key counter, and stood behind a man that had been waiting for someone to help him. I asked him how long he'd been waiting, and he said it had been ~5 min since he asked for help. I walked back to the center cashier, who said there was now no one on the floor to help as everyone was on lunch break. I asked for the manager, and he said he was on a break. There were now three people waiting to get keys copied, and no staff to help. After waiting a few more minutes, I walked back to the center of the store and spoke loud enough so that the manager could hear in the back. The message? That customers needed help at the key counter. Finally, a staff person came to the counter, clearly annoyed, and said they were having problems with their staff-to-staff communication device. Unlikely. What they were having a problem with, was a clear misunderstanding of what customer service means. Talk about a failure to train employees. Never coming back, nor recommending this business to my friends or family. There are better businesses nearby, ones that actually understand the importance of customer service ... and they're just a short drive away.

For example a 6 pack of Terry Cloth towels at $9.99 vs a Pack of 48 of the same towels at home depot for $7 more. The same fixture at Orchard at 30% less. Then I went to get a basic dolly - nothing. But what is far more frustrating is using them as a job stop when they don't even supply the tools to install the products they sell. For example, today I wanted to replace my faucet, they have several models but they don't sell the faucet installation tool that only cost $20 and takes up almost no space. On what planet does that makes sense? They got 15 kinds of pipe wrenchs and even specialized tools for installing garbage disposals but they don't carry a basic EZ change faucet wrench? Why would I buy something that cost $100 just to have to drive to a whole different store ten miles away to get the tool I need to install it. When I go to a hardware store I expect them to have the hardware for the items they sell, vs wasting my time. I am just done assuming this store has what I need to get jobs done. My local ACE store does, so that one is still my go to place.

However, when I was a kid, my dad would take me with him to the hardware store, and I would get a lollypop while he and whomever from behind the counter would wander around looking for an eyebolt or the right shade of caulk. Giulio- who I assume is the owner, is easily 10 years older than my mom, who lives in the assisted living up the street. My mom can't be bothered to go to the chair yoga we're paying for, but Giulio went to work. He's not totally mobile, but he knows his s#!t. Whenever I come in, he or whoever else is behind the counter is happy to chat through my issue and suggest something. It's not a Home Depot- so they may not have what you're looking for every time- but they have a lot of things, and it makes me happy to know my money is staying local. Also, side story: One day during the summer, it's like 90, and I am behind a contractor who's getting a bunch of stuff - lumber, rocks...I don't know- but he's paying for it, and he grabs some water bottles for him and his crew and puts them on the counter. Giulio totals him up and says a number; the guy says, "Oh, don't forget these waters". Giulio says, "The town where I come from in Italy has the best water in the world, and it flows right off the mountain. If my father knew I was charging people for water, he'd come back from the dead and strike me down. Those are free." C'mon. How can you not go here first?

Every time I would walk by, it would give me a vertically-oriented mocking smile. I finally had enough. You would think it would be an easy thing to simply pick out a replacement hinge and install it, but HAH--clearly you have not done much cabinet work before... I brought I picture of my hinge to this store and the exact hinge is no longer made. And I need to take into consideration the hinge overlay (what?!) along with the size of the body of the hinge. Well the bottom line is that after 4 trips to this store trying different hinges I finally installed one that worked. And the guys at this store were extremely helpful and patient--particularly for a part that is only about $7. They definitely helped me do this a lot quicker than I had tried it one my own, and proved the value of buying local.

When I went to pick it up he initially balked at returning my $15.00 deposit but relented when I produced a receipt. My opinion: Watch out for these guys.
