Not only was extremely knowledgeable, he was also super fun to train with...he did a great job of sharing interesting stories making the experience even more memorable. He was also kind enough to take photos for us prior to getting on the plane. I love that I was able to walk beside them from the training to the actual flight time. If it's available I highly recommend paying for the extended trip so you can fly over LA, the Hollywood sign and other cool spots. Also make sure you bring cash so you can tip instructor I only had $35 on me and really would have preferred to tip at least $50. Thank you US Aviators for a fabulous experience!!!

The folks at Channel Islands Aviation were extremely kind and helpful. The customer service manager Alice arranged a hotel room for me and made sure that I received the 17% room discount provided to their clients. She also loaned me a phone charger for the night and had one of the linemen drive me to the hotel at no charge whatsoever. I cannot speak highly enough of their service and the atmosphere of the business. Top-notch all around. Darien was really knowledgeable, a great instructor and made the whole experience really fun and very memorable. From my experience, I would highly recommend getting your lessons from Darien and at Clipper in general. Their facilities are clean, everyone there is friendly and they take really good care of their planes. For all new pilots definitely check out the Cirrus! Such an amazing plane.
