May 4, 2021 A clear problem was LL Flooring insisting on…read morefull payment more than a week before installation of the floor. This leaves the customer with no leverage when there is a problem. The installation was a disaster. They were done after 4 hours ($1500. or $375. per hour). The toe molding was removed and not replaced and the rubber flashing at the base of the cabinets was crushed under the new flooring. You also could put your fingers under two of the door thresholds. The workman also smashed a wall clock and hid it under a piece of furniture so we would not find it until after they left. This was their idea of complete! Do yourself a favor and hire a LOCAL professional. I wish I did.

I only had a limited amount of time so I wanted to be sure they had it and called the store. I was put through to a clerk named Anthony. Anthony told me they did carry it and had it in stock. Since he answered without even checking stock, I was skeptical and asked him if "he was sure they had some". Anthony again told me they did have it in stock. I drove 35 minutes, I didn't have to spare, to their store. The first clerk didn't know what I was talking about. When I mentioned I confirmed with Anthony they had it in stock, he sent me to the back of the store to Anthony. As you can guess by now, they didn't have any. What's more, it didn't appear they never even carried it as there was no place where it had been . I was so angry. It was too late to get anywhere else thanks to their laziness and lack of customer service. I called the store a couple of days later and asked to speak to the owner but was told he isn't here. The clerk I spoke to implied, the owner is never there. I left my phone number and asked to have him call me. That was over a week ago...the apple doesn't fall from the tree, I guess. While overall, I have had positive experiences with Ace Hardware stores in the past, I won't be going back or recommending this one to anyone.

Wow... We installed a new front door two years ago and the original installer could not fix the…read moreissue with it. The original installer had come back several times and then we just stopped calling him. The door never closed (or locked) without having to pull or push the door a certain way. Mike S. solved the issue in 30 minutes. (His approach showed experience in working this type of issue. ) We were both very pleased with the results and to be blunt the door NEVER has worked this well as it does now. I also liked that their service manager Destiny P. was great at explaining the process and the tech they have is great. Several texts came to remind me they were coming. They even came at the time they said they would (this apparently is their normal behavior. Destiney said they don't give "windows of between this or that hour) We paid for a 1/2 day and got several small obnoxious chores done. Mike fixed the screen door, some drywall (small patch of mold) and installed a ceiling fan. All in the space of 4 hours. They book by the 1/2 day. We were happy with the price especially given the quality of work and the ability to schedule within a reasonable time frame. We had tried other services only to get either no response or a response that they could come a few months from now. Excellent value for the money

Not to lock him in on his rate; I just want to say that his price was more than generous. He gave me his appointment date and start time and showed up with his crew and equipment and got right to it. Never have I seen such a hard-working team. They did a great job in a short time. They took down the Part that was laying on my roof, cut away all the branches to prevent further damage and cut down the entire tree, cleaning up the yard as they worked. They took away all of the branches and the big logs, then they ground the stump down. They were at my house at the scheduled time and were gone by 2 pm. I highly recommend this business.
