Let me preface this review with the fact that I had been in severe tooth pain for about 2 weeks straight, living off of Ibuprofen and tylenol. On my journey to figure out what was going on with my tooth, I went to 3 different dentists who couldn't figure out the issue. It wasn't until Dr. Dan Smith walked in the room that I felt a rush of reassurance, trust, and kindness. Dr. Dan has an incredibly caring bedside manner mixed in with the utmost professional demeanor in his responses to your questions. He took his time with my care, listened to my complaints until I was done giving him all the information that was important to me, and he reassured me with confidence in his answers. I cannot recommend this establishment and Dr. Dan enough. For the first time I felt cared about and that I was in good hands. It took Dr. Dan no more than a couple minutes to come up with the cause to all my tooth pain / issues. Their pricing is beyond fair compared to the surrounding dental offices. The entire staff up front was helpful and thorough. It was the most pleasant experience I've had going to a dental office in my 32 years of life. Thank you Dr. Dan and Bark River Dental! Ordered a panoramic xray with out getting pre authorization even though I had one done the year before. After the xray expressed great concern with the blockage in my sinus. I was able to get an emergency appointment with an ENT doctor at Summit. he looked at the xray pictures i took with my phone and laughed. "I really dislike when inexperienced dentist do this! This is common in 25% of population and poses no threat what so ever." I called Delafield dentist immediately after my appointment to tell them of the doctors opinion. It was like deaf ears! Dental insurance would not cover the xray. Said it was a medical claim. Medical would not cover the $275.00 saying it was unauthorized and/or not pre-authorized. After 18 months of this with them, they sent me to collections. I have shared all the details with two of the accounts receivable team. Both were sympathetic to what happened and neither felt I should have to incur this cost. On top of that...they wanted me to book a deep cleaning for 2 teeth. I mad an appointment for it and my follow up for 6 months. Two weeks before the deep cleaning appointment I had to cancel it due to overseas travel. I received a voicemail that they would cancel it and my next scheduled cleaning. I was told for legal reasons they could not clean my teeth before the I had the deep cleaning! I called when I got back. Obviously my cleaning appointment was gone, i needed to wait another 4 months past my scheduled cleaning to get a new appointment. Then was told they WILL NOT schedule it until after the 2 tooth deep cleaning was completed. I found a new dentist! What a shame to treat a client like that. For this reason I can not recommend this dentist and practice to anyone.

I owned two dental offices with my business partner & when business partner was incapacitated, they were hired by a conservator to conserve the two dental offices. They changed all rules and changed all systems k the ones they use because they are not well diversified unless everything is under their control. They fired the entire staff at both dental offices and mismanaged money & couldn't make payroll unless I stepped in to help them out. They had a temp contract in which they needed to renew their contract. They tried to cheat & lie to get the renewal by spitting out numbers yet showing no results. I decided not to rehire them and they went around me to the conservator's lawyer to sweet talk for the renewal since I said no to them. Very untrustworthy and they could not run either office with any success. They ran all of the current patients away by taking away our in network discounts and closed us down on evenings and weekends which was our niche which made us successful and popular with patients. Hence, they ran both dental offices which were in business for 15 plus years under when they ran or attempted to run both dental offices. Since they took all our money and didn't renew their contract, they filed collections against us. Such a disgrace for a business that's supposed to help you be a success. If I'd had money. I'd go after them for fraud since they did everything in their power to shut us down. F-

Everyone was very very friendly and didn't make me feel bad or uncomfortable for not seeing a dentist in a long time. I just went today and got a few fillings done and normally this would have been a very stress inducing situation for me but they made me feel very comfortable and walked me through everything they were doing. The dentist I had was Dr.Wu and he was absolutely great! So friendly and knowledgeable! I will definitely be recommending Pewaukee dental to all my friends and family! This has been the best dental experiences I have had, couldn't be happier! :))

The staff at Pewaukee Dental is so kind and gentle! From my very first visit they took every step to calm my fears and answer my questions. They have a state of the art facility, yet their prices are very reasonable. Dr. Alex not only is a gifted dentist, he listens to what you want. He works with you to achieve what's best for you and your teeth. They give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. They offer free nitrous, music, blankets, and kind patient smiles. I have had a lot of work done there, and I recommend this place for anyone. I know I'm a difficult patient, but they don't treat me like one.
