Consistency: came here once or twice ever year or so, nothing has ever been "off" meaning the place is reasonably tightly managed. Viability: the neighborhood places of old (some a liquor license loss or auction away from death) should take note. Quality and consistency leads to customer retention. Parking: sometimes not busy, but usually a crowd. Parking extends and spills out onto the street so a few times you may have to walk a wee bit. Just popped in while traveling home to Philadelphia and this place is a gem!!!! The owner was so nice and friendly- our server was super sweet! Such a huge menu- honestly couldn't decide what to get. Wings were awesome, wraps really good!! Great place to watch a game- tons of TV's and great sound- we watched the World Cup USA game. We stopped here on our way home to Pittsburgh on a recent weekend in Columbus. We found the place on Yelp and the pictures of the food looked good. We sat at the bar to order a drink and some food. Their bartender Fred was great. We are the people that like sitting at a bar a restaurant and eating. We like meeting other people and chatting. Lately it's hard to find a good bartender that makes you feel welcome and we go out a lot. Fred was the exception. If we lived closer I could see us going to that bar often. The menu was large and everything on it sounded appealing. Fred told us everything on the menu was solid. He was helpful in helping us order. He wasn't wrong. I had the Reuben with battered fries and my boyfriend had perogies and wings. I thought it was a funny combination but i like them both and it works for me. The perogies were phenomenal. Fred suggested the perogies with butter, onion and adding garlic and parmesean. Great suggestion on his part. This morning we were deciding where to meet friends tonight for dinner and my boyfriend said Generations. I said don't we wish. Unfortunately too far, but next time we are down that way that's where we will go and I hope Fred's at the bar. read more

Unimpressed. This was a recommendation from a coworker. Service just ok. Beers good. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered French onion soup. Wasn't the worst I had and definitely not the best. Tad salty. Next ordered the Fulton Hot Chicken (I was made to believe it was similar to the Nashville Hot Chicken). Well, it wasn't hot at all, the pickles were tasteless. Seriously, didn't even know they were in the sandwich. Served on Cibatta bread that was not even toasted. So the bun was just limp. Next was the French Onion Dip sandwich. This wasn't awful. But for goodness sake toast the buns. It will elevate this sandwich to another level. No next time for us. read more

I was really disappointed. I ordered a blackened chicken wrap..it was not blackened..plus I ordered a sun dried wrap server tried to tell me they are lighter in color but it is sun dried..NOT! Stephanie gets 5 s for excellent and friendly service. The food was good. Hubby ordered the steak which was perfectly prepared and Stephanie asked him if it was to his liking . Wings and Pirogies were tasty. I rated 4 stars overall because the pork chops were a bit dry. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was ok, too cheesy and not very much chicken. The pita chips were good though. My friend and I were here and ordered food and drinks. My friend had a burger and she ordered medium and they cooked it well then she went to eat it and the bun completely fell apart. My Boyfriend and I made this a stop on our way home to my family for Christmas and after several hours of driving we were ready for some football, burgers and beer at Generations we got all three. The staff sat us were Mark and I could enjoy the Eagles game. Our waiter was VERY patient with us -mostly Mark :)- in trying to decide on our beer and dinner choices. The sandwiches we ordered were OK, pretty average. One of our group declared the Philly Steak as "just OK". And the parking at this place sucks if there is a group event in their upstairs banquet room. HIGH marks to Dallas our server and the management for chasing down the person who clipped my motorcycles mirror cover, causing some but not major damage. They were all over the situation after an employee of the glass business across the street came to the dining area, found us, and advised me that my bike had been hit by an older guy in a Mercedes. The server, a rider, and another employee were key in finding the guy and letting me then deal with it. I've never had good service the several times I've been in Generations. If I sit at a table the server disappears for a long while every time. Food is okay but usually cold. When I go for music or drinks the bartenders actively skip over me. Now I am aware of the owner's very ignorant and racist views and there's no more reason to keep trying this place. read more

So we had to take a seat at the bar, which was awkward for our group of 4. The bar service was very quick and friendly, drinks were cheap and cold. Ordered our food - wings and salad. The salad didn't come with the base of fries like detailed on the menu, but they were able to put in a side order of fries to fix it. Overall the salad was just OK, the wings were good, and the overall experience was decent. This is a good casual place for a burger, or plenty of other selections. We were there on Burger Night where the prices were great and the fries were bottomless, so you couldn't go wrong. While the beers were prominently displayed with their logos on the walls and ceiling. There was no evidence of other beverage selections on their menu, or on a table stand, which seemed a bit odd to me. The place was lively (even early on a weeknight) and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's a good choice for dinner, whether with or without kids. read more
