We had the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and each got a burger. The buffalo dip was the shining star over the burgers. The burgers are huge and quality. We also appreciate this business is veteran owned. I really wanted to leave a 5 star for this business but not honoring your coupon really is off putting. The "manager" who never even came to the table and kept sending the server to relay messages, apparently said they "weren't supposed to be included" this year but my friend showed where they were. I ordered the bubba burger, which included "fried cheese" that extended a few inches around the burger. This was interesting concept that I have never tried as part of a burger. The fried cheese turned out to be just ok. I didn't end up eating all of it, some of which was too burned to be tasty or even edible. The burger itself was pretty good, but standard fare and not impressive compared to other burgers I've had at local restaurants. The fries were good, but the small portion was disappointing. We also ordered one of the large soft pretzels as an appetizer to share, which was actually quite good when paired with the cheese dipping sauce. Our server was friendly enough. We waited about 10 minutes for our food to come out after ordering, which seemed reasonable. Overall, the quality is in line with typical burger chains. We started with drinks -- one was a pineapple cocktail and the other had banana liqueur -- and while they tasted good, we weren't convinced there was much alcohol in them. For the price they charged, we definitely expected better. As an appetizer, we ordered mozzarella sticks, which ended up being some of the greasiest things I've ever eaten. Not crispy, just oily and heavy -- not a great start. We also ordered three burgers: the Bubba's Burger and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Smash Burger. The Bubba's Burger was just average, and the cheese on it looked pretty unappetizing when it came out. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Smash Burger was just bad. The menu said it came with a "dippy egg," but what we got was a fully cooked, rubbery egg that smelled like a hard-boiled egg. The burger itself didn't taste good, the cheese was just fine, and the bacon was okay -- but honestly, I could have gone to Wendy's, spent way less, and had a much better meal. Our waitress was very prompt and attentive -- no complaints there. But the kitchen was incredibly slow. Even though the restaurant was busy, it still took over an hour for our food to come out. This was our first time here. We got the jalapeño poppers as our appetizer. My husband ordered the ranch bacon burger and I the steakhouse burger. This was the quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. My husband thought his was delicious as well. The fresh cut fries were cooked perfectly and not fried to nothing. I ordered takeout online and got the cheese sticks and the nawlins burger which i customized to add crispy onions and extra bleu cheeses- neither of which were actually included even though I paid for their additions. The burger itself was bland and didn't seem to be "coated in cajun spices" like the menu indicates. I upgraded to sweet potato fries and they weren't done all the way- hard in the middle and ice cold. I've had the cheese sticks before and liked them, but today the cheese sticks today were sopping in grease. For a meal I paid $25 + tip for, it was not at all worth it. I visited this bar/restaurant during teh pandemic and they did a great job keeping patrons social distanced, and staying within the laws, while providing a great experience. Customer service was excellent. My server was very friendly and attentive. They are located in a strip mall with more than ample parking. They have an enclosed patio, a dining area and a bar that you can sit at. I chose to eat on the patio. They have an extensive beer menu and well as some pretty good signature cocktails. In addition to the delicious cocktails, I got the sloppy joe quesadilla, with fries. I was very delicious. I highly recommend. I could not eat all of it and took my left overs home. They tasted just as good. I hear that the burgers are pretty good too. I will have to try them next time. They have a wide selection of exotic burgers, including one that has 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as the burgers bread....mmmmmmm I highly recommend checking this place out. The inside is clean and modern with a sports bar / garage type feel based on the decor. A nice bar with a large selection of craft beer, most of which are local. Kudos for that. I've eaten at a lot of craft burger places. Bubbas is the real deal. It has to be the blended and ground daily choice cuts of meat. The meat was seasoned nicely as well and cooked to order. He vowed never to step foot back in that place after today. Actually we had a party of 4 and none of us will be returning to this establishment. We ordered the grilled zucchini and buffalo chicken dip for appetizers. The grilled zucchini was served to us cold. The buffalo chicken dip was honestly the only thing served to us that was any good. I should mention that they didn't give us any plates for the appetizers so we literally had to chase someone down so that we could eat the appetizers. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries for my entree. My chicken had a funny color to it. It was almost black in some places. I've never seen chicken look quite like that before. I took one bite and that's all I could take. It tasted horribly burnt. This is where it gets ridiculous. I told our waitress Paige W (at least that's what it said on our receipt she never actually told us her name) that my chicken tenders were burnt. She asked me are they white on the inside, I replied yes. She then proceeded to tell me that it's just the way that the batter is and if she sent them back to the kitchen to be remade that they would probably come back out exactly the same. She then took it even further and asked me if they tasted burnt. I obviously said yes, why else would I be bringing it to her attention. She then proceeded to tell me that she had chicken tenders from there today and hers didn't taste burnt. So after the round of questioning and blatant rudeness she didn't do anything what so ever to make the situation better. In fact she made it incredibly worse. But enough about that part, it goes on. My dad and boyfriend both ordered chicken wings. My boyfriend was trying to pick up one of his boneless wings with his fork but the chicken was so hard that his fork wouldn't go through it. My dad said his wings tasted old like they had been sitting out for quite some time and possibly reheated. My mom ordered a burger with beer cheese and fries. You could tell her burger had been sitting because the beer cheese on top had a funny texture to it. Her fries were also served to her cold. This was a very unfortunate experience that we had as a whole. We were all shocked at the behavior of our waitress Paige and the quality of the food really went down hill. Stopped here while travelling I-70 about 2 pm on a weekday. Place only had 1 other couple. My wife and I both ordered burgers that came with fries (14-$15 each). You can order your burgers pink or not pink, we both ordered pink. In a few minutes they came out. Both were well done and cold. The fries were very dark, greasy and cold also. There is no way they cooked the food that fast so evidently, they are precooking the burgers and fries! Another couple came in and ordered and their food came out just as fast. If I were to guess the help is running this place instead of manageemnt so they do what is easiest. There was at least 4 workers there so lack of help couldn't have been the issue. Owned and operated by a military veteran, I was pleasantly surprised, but happy. We were quickly greeted and sat. There's a lot to look at, so we were plenty entertained until our food arrived. Memorabilia lines the walls, all for sale. After we ordered our food, they returned to say they were out of chili. My daughter ordered a plain burger instead. Our service was fabulous, drinks were refilled as quickly as the last sip. It wasn't until our bill arrived that we saw there were no free refills. STRIKE. Our food all arrived at the same time, chili was made, so they gave us the chili free of charge. It tasted like it was made quickly, though, little flavor. Maybe its better on a regular basis? Such a delicious spot! My family has eaten here several times and it has always been fantastic. The cheesesticks are the best we've ever had! They are ginormous, homemade and so creamy and melty! They're the kind that the strings stretch from your hand to your mouth when you bite into them. My favorite, though, is the grilled zucchini. They are spears that are grilled and drizzled with bruschetta and balsamic. Amazing! The staff is always friendly & attentive. Special shout out to Teresa!
