The last 2 storms all generator company's has been busy servicing and selling generators. After getting some quotes I decided on working with A&A Genpro the entire process was great and exceeded my expectations. The installers are very professional and hassle-free. The install team arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable. They explained every step of the installation process, answered all my question. Quality of Work: The installation was done efficiently, with attention to detail. The wiring and setup were neatly done, and they made sure the system integrated seamlessly with my home's power supply. They also took care of any permits and ensured that everything was up to code. The customer service was excellent. Pricing: I found their pricing to be competitive, especially for the quality of service I received. Overall Experience: I'm very happy with my new generator, and I feel much more secure knowing that I won't lose power during an outage. We had a sales person (Matt) came for an estimate for standby home generator on April 30, 2026. We…read moresigned the contract and paid for a deposit with credit card. We applied for their Synchrony Bank payment plan with no interest for 18 months. After sales guy left I checked the location of the proposed area and saw that there is a vent there. I called and emailed him. He said he didn't know what type of vent but the generator is vertically 5' away from the vent and 5' away from a window. However, the generator is NOT 5' horizontally from the vent. We also told GenPro sales guy it takes 30 days for HOA approval. GenPro emailed us the estimate on May 5. I applied for permit with HOA on May 5 after talking to sales guy and receiving his drawn in generator in my pictures that I sent him. Meanwhile I emailed our builder (May 3) and independent home inspector (May 6) to find out what type of vent is near the proposed location. We thought the fresh air intake vent is on the roof. It took them a few days and we received replies on May 6. They confirmed that it is the fresh air intake vent. So when the generator emits carbon monoxide it would travel approximately 59-60" up into the fresh air intake. Yes I took into account the concrete pad and the top of the generator. I measured the vertical distance from the height of the generator to the bottom of the vent. On May 6, their install team emailed and said they would do installation on May 18. I told GenPro to hold off on everything as I am waiting for HOA approval and I am not comfortable with the proposed location and need to do more research. This was the same day I received replies from builder and home inspector. GenPro then sent a field supervisor to my house on May 8 to answer questions. He said GenPro would move the location further along the wall and we would not have to pay for the extra electrical and gas trenching cost. This would mean there is about 20' between the generator and AC where we can't push the lawnmower in. We have a narrow lot. We do not feel this is best for us. In addition when time comes replacing the AC unit would have to be lifted above the generator. There is no gate on the side with the AC and proposed generator. Meanwhile Synchrony Bank charged us 50% of the balance on May 1 (over $6,000). I received an email of the CC balance on the account and it is due 6-2-2026. I did not receive the Synchrony credit card in the mail until May 11 and have not even activated the credit card. I have emailed GenPro on May 11 to cancel, request deposit refund and charge back to the Synchrony amount. I have not heard from them. BEWARE of this company. The sales team just cared about making the sale. If I had not questioned the proposed location GenPro would have installed the generator at a location that is UNSAFE and possible leading to death. The sales and operations side of the project was wonderful. The administrative and project…read moremanagement by the "Project Coordinator" has been a nightmare. We made the required deposit at the end of July and we were scheduled for installation on September 23, with the possibility of it being soon as they were going to start doing 2 installs a day starting the following week. When I called on August 19 to just confirm everything was still on schedule, or if they schedule was pushed up with the 2 installations starting, I was told by the PC she had not scheduled our installation yet! It was after reaching back out to our salesman that we were scheduled as we were told. I was repeatedly to asked provide documentation of the HOA approval and the survey plat, both had been previously email twice to the PC. We have been lied to, twice, regarding the inspection results, which I ended up calling the City of Conroe myself to find out why the inspections were failing since the PC told me she didn't know why and they don't get that information. The first inspection had not failed, as I was told, as the city confirmed the initial passed. The final failed because the trenches were not filled in as they should have been. The PC blamed the trenching subcontractors and said they were supposed to have filled them in the prior week. However, the first inspection would not have passed had this happened bc that would have been the week before the inspection. A project that should have taken 5 days per the PC provided timeline took over 2 weeks, our credit card was over charged when the $1000 down payment wasn't credited to the balance due. I'm told I'll get a check in the mail rather than crediting the $1000 and the 3% fee on this money they charge to use a credit card. As far as the credit card, I was told we couldn't use our Generac issued credit card because we didn't apply through their website, we applied directly through Generac. I called the card issuer and this was not the case and had to provide the steps on how to process the transaction to the PC. I'm still waiting on a call from the owner for a week and a half since my request to speak with him and I'm not confident at all the message was relayed due to the repeated discrepancies during this whole process with the Project Coordinator. The salesman was fantastic, the subcontractors were great, but if you decide to use this company make sure all communication is via email and to keep an accounting of all the financial transactions.

The technician, William Easton, arrived that day but left due to weather, promising to return June 12. He returned but couldn't complete the job and said he'd be back later that day with another technician--he never came. On June 16, he returned and said a part was needed, assuring us it would be "emergency shipped" through their connection with Kohler and that the General Manager would call. That call never happened. A week later, on June 23, I contacted GPS and was told the part had "just been ordered," contradicting earlier claims. I was promised a mid-week update that didn't happen. On June 26, I followed up again and was told the same thing--without any further communication. On June 27, after another failed call, I received four inconsistent emails from Becky Showers, GPS's accountant, with conflicting part order dates (June 17 and June 23) and no clear plan for resolution. On July 3, I was informed the wrong part had been ordered and the installation could not take place. I was told the correct part would be "emergency shipped" again, with no confirmed date. Despite repeated promises, no one from GPS management contacted me until I issued a firm written deadline for a response by June 30. We've experienced a complete lack of follow-through, transparency, and customer care--leaving us without a working generator during Texas storm season. This situation has dragged on for over three weeks since payment, with no resolution and no accountability from GPS.
