Now the digital, high quality of first run movie releases make it the place to check out in Dansville, along with it's great popcorn! The big screen and sound is such a welcome change from the tiny ones often see people staring at about, and I am a streamer. I felt like Swiftie convert sitting in the front theater row during Taylor Swift's 2023, Eras Tour. I'll never forget the first showing of the Titanic at the Star with seats filled, even a few in the classic balcony. The whole family was there too. The theater remains an anchor on main street. A great place to go after dinner in one of the many good restaurants on Main Street with good street and rear parking. I rarely go elsewhere to see a big movie.

And it gives you more space than a normal movie seat, too. If you're going to pay for a movie at the theater, it's the only way to go. I also love that they have popcorn that you can put the butter on yourself! If you're going to pay for movie theater popcorn, you ought to be able to drown it in as much butter as you want! :) Strangely enough, I'm going to see Aladdin here, too, at the end of the month. So it's been over a year, and now twice in one month. It's hard to justify the cost of movies anymore because if you wait a month or two, it will be at Red Box for like a $1. Various people went to the front and asked why . All came back with different answers. 1 hour later the movie started.IT WAS HORRIBLE. I would rate the movie and the theatre less tan 1 star if I was able. No management, run by teens who couldn't care less.

We asked to get the refill early and they said they would give it to us in a bag. I may have misunderstood as I thought we would get our bucket and have the refill in a bag, but instead we were given a giant bag of popcorn and an empty bucket. Not the most convenient when trying to get into the movie and ensure everyone has popcorn, but we made it work! The popcorn was very tasty and enjoyed by all!

Haven't been to a drive in in ages!! Decided to see the new James Bond flick on a beautiful Friday…read morenight. Got there a little before 7 and parked up front of screen 3. My bf got the reserved parking, and there was 2 reserved and 1 regular spot available in the front row. You also pay for tickets at the window. We went to the snack bar and bought a bucket of popcorn for $10. Used the bathroom and looked at all the unplugged video games :(. We brought a few drinks and did not pay the $8 fee, lol To hear the movie, you have to sit in the car, we tried to download app and play from phone, to no avail!! I wish it had subtitles, so we could have stayed outside. Oh well. We did enjoy it, but movie ended up being kinda boring and we left early :(

We followed them from their previous location and hope to follow them if they reopen in another location. We wish the owners and staff well into the future. Unfortunately, the mall management did not renew their lease because it is closing to become another empty giant graveyard in the Town of Amherst, NY. The town is notorious for allowing developers destroy small business with no legitimate reason or near future plans other than to create humongous empty buildings.

No previews so when we got there 5 minutes late, we had already missed part of the movie. Also the biggest thing was that the audio was so low that you could not hear the characters speak. It was so bad to the point where I asked the front clerk to turn up the volume in the theater. She did turn it up which was nice, but the cherry on top was that she must've turned it so high to the point that when there was a car chase in the film, the theater's speakers sounded like they were going to blow up! All in all, if you want to feel like you're in theater made in the 80's with absolutely no renovations done up until the year 2022, this is the spot for you
