I still paid what I would pay at the reputable dealership, but the technician did not tighten the oil filter and left the dipstick open, causing my car leaked oil for the past few months. The smell was noxious and it should never have happened. I only found this out after bringing it to another servicer because of the terrible smell. I would not recommend for quality or affordable work. Speed seems to be the only priority here and not worth the trade offs to quality.

After sending him photos by email, he responded within an hour that he thought it would be worth repairing but he would have to find out whether the parts were available. He asked me to give him some time to find out. Two days later, he contacted me that he had found all the necessary parts and that he gave me an estimate of repair price. The repair price was so close to the insurance company's quote, which most repair shops had told me that it was impossible. Since my friend recommended Chau's, I decided to let Chau's do it.
