Server was very friendly and they support their local small businesses with cards and signs directing you to shops nearby. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time I'm out that way!

I really tried to give this place another chance, but never again…read more When they first opened, the food was actually good -- flavorful, big portions, and worth the high prices. The customer service was always terrible, but the food was good enough that we overlooked it sometimes, especially since we live within walking distance and don't have many options nearby. Well, that is definitely over. We went back recently, and it was worse than ever. They were already out of beef before lunch, so we had to settle for the only other option shredded chicken. The portion was tiny, the food was completely different, and the rice honestly looked like it had already been chewed. The new yellow rice and refried beans were a huge downgrade from what they used to serve. If I wanted bad Mexican food, I guess I found it. We also splurged on the new doughnuts, and those were just as disappointing -- old, dry, and absolutely not worth the money. The attitude is still bad, the prices are still way too high, and now the food isn't even good enough to excuse it. At this point, I completely understand why the place never looks busy when I drive by. Sadly, I'm done wasting my money here.

I love this place so much a lot of good memories and nostalgia. They have amazing food and drinks…read moreas well. Their lavender latte is always my go to. Iced in the summer and hot in the winter.. It helps me to not give up on my dreams of traveling to Provonce in France one day lol. I love how Wake Up Coffee is branching out into so many new locations. Friendliest staff, the best owners ever (I have to admit guys I really really miss your Redfern Village location) But this company does amazing things for people. Keep opening the locations you guys are doing great!!!!!

Really long line, but went kind of fast. But wait time for coffee was 20-30 minutes. And people just kept coming. If you are a coffee snob, and you want a top notch coffee... this place is not it. Was scared to try an espresso, so tried cortado, but it was so bitter the milk didn't even help the flavor. The coffee beans smelled really good, and seemed like they had the right beans to make a good coffee, they just don't care enough about how they brew it. But if you like your coffee with some sugar this place is for you!!! I got the vanilla honey cinnamon, at first it seemed too sugary, but second sip tasted good. I would get it again. They have a lot of flavors and fun seasonal options. Didn't realize until later that it's a chain.

SERVICE: it was ok. Our greeter wasn't super friendly, sort of business first type and our server…read morewas similar. Not as smiley as servers usually are at restaurants.. AMBIANCE: super cute. Decor is very nice, the use of pallets to hang lights, colorful chalk menu highlighting the summer drinks, photos highlighting collaborations with local farms. BATHROOMS: very clean, multiple large single stall units FOOD: they had a good selection of food. I think how full you get depends on what you order. I ordered a half sandwich and half soup combo. It was a thicc bread with two pieces of ham and a tomato, 1 slice of guyere. The soup was in a tiny ramikin, with 1 tiny baggie of crackers. My husband ordered a breakfast combo that included a full sized waffle, scrambled eggs, and two chicken apple sausage patties. On the side, we each ordered "million dollar bacon" which was essentially 4 slices of sugared bacon with some sort of drizzle sauce. They were delicious, but not $6 dollar and some change worth for 4 pieces of bacon.. I was a little interested in their honey biscuits they were promoting but I didn't want to spend any more money. The morning meditation drink and kale tonic were delicious. THE BILL: we were told to scan the QR code to pay, but he had come here the previous day with his company after PT as a bonding thing, and found out the QR code doesn't work. For the two of us, the bill was almost $65 and I left hungry. VERDICT: I don't know if I'd come here again, but if I did, I'd definitely choose something else to eat to make sure I'm full.

My wife had a breakfast scramble with bacon, peppers, spinich, eggs and grilled potatoes. Both meals were marvelous. The service was great. We sat in very comfortable padded chairs at our table, and there were some booths as well. We loved the see through wall where you could watch the kitchen staff at work. It is pricy, but worth it. Bright, cheerful decor with high ceiling and wooden accents. It was my first time to eat there and we will certainly be going back
