I rarely use Yelp, not a social media kind of person. BUT I had to dig up my old yelp account and leave a review for Dr. Baghdasarian because these days it's just so hard to find an honest mechanic, doctor, contractor, etc. I have a great mechanic, and thankfully, I can say I now have a great doctor/dentist I can go to without worrying about being taken for a ride. You really have to due your research and I'm so glad I found this place! Had a really bad toothache and I knew exactly what the problem was, it was a tooth that had been feeling sensitive for a long time and I just kept ignoring it because no offense to Dr. B, I don't like dental clinics! But finally tooth blew up on me and felt like an icepick was being jabbed into my face, looked for 3 days to find a place that at least seemed legit. Read all the reviews, literally every single review I read for this place and all of them had one thing in common, they didn't feel like they were ripped off and the doc was honest, BINGO! Called and spoke with a young lady name "Rosie", she was a total sweetheart and was able to get a reasonable appointment. Day of appointment, got my X-rays done and met the doc, let me say, VERY CHILL GUY, really appreciated that. He took one look at my swollen face and said "wow, you have a pretty bad infection", he found the culprit tooth without me saying a word and explained all my options. Long story short, tooth had bad chance of survival so I decided to take it out and now in the process of getting it replaced with an implant. He also put me on antibiotics and CALLED ME that same night to see how I was doing, who doest that these days?!?! Also, just as a side note, the guy has DEFT hands, I mean after being numbed, he removed the tooth and I DID NOT FEEL A DAMN THING! All I gotta say is THANK YOU DR. B! Thank you for being a good doc, thank you for understanding patient struggles, and thank you for just being a cool dude! read more

From my experience and it seems also from someone else here on Yelp, if your intention is just to come here for a cleaning that's covered by your insurance you may also not have a good time with this office. They or the receptionist, Maria, makes it difficult to schedule. Although she's aggressive when it comes to reserving your next appointment, if it's for cleaning only they tend to get push back or canceled at the last minute and you'll have to go back on the waiting list for at least month, two, or more. To be fair I've given them the benefit of doubt. I understand there are things beyond control so I stayed. I've taken their diagnosis seriously and got fillings here but even after the procedure was done one of my more irritating cavities is still there to this day. My insurance doesn't fully cover fillings; I had to co-pay a reasonable sum. And months later after a routine cleaning one of the assistants informed I have cavities and needed multiple filings again. But at this point, I was less inclined to heed their opinion. I believe this office sensed my reluctance and that's when it became really difficult to just schedule a cleaning. Especially with Maria who I feel doesn't care about your financial situation at all, whether or not your insurance covers it, while she hides this cold indifference behind a faux professional demeanor. I hope this office remembers that there are some of us who just wants to come in and do a basic cleaning due to we might not necessarily have the money or maybe we do but it's our choice. I just want to make a simple visit to the dentist and avoid unnecessary drama. read more

Small unassuming little clinic, but staff and doctor were great. I made my appointment with them after hearing about the doctor here via word of mouth from one of their patients that is a relative of mine. Small but super clean waiting room, very cute decor! Front desk was very polite and courteous, I was called right on time and a few minutes later the doctor walked in to see me. Very casual demeanor, not condescending or trying to talk over my head, told him about some small concerns I had and I had X-rays taken and after he did his check up he said I just had one cavity and needed a basic cleaning. I had been told about 8 months ago by another clinic that I needed crowns due to "cracks" in my teeth and when he saw the teeth I pointed to he was a bit perplexed as to why I was told those teeth needed crowns. He said they looked perfectly normal and didn't see any problems in the X-rays or visually. I was so relieved, I then got my cleaning finished and my cavity done and I was off! It took me a long time to leave my previous dentist, but I am so glad I did. Dr. Ted is very thorough and patient and he explains everything and really took the time to make sure I understood the nuances of my dental and oral concerns and how we can treat them. Whenever I have a question, he takes the time to educate me in a nonjudgemental way, which I really appreciate. He has been able to beautifully clean up the previous work I had done and also use less invasive techniques for even better results. He clearly has a lot of experience and is able to come up with multiple strategies if we need to think outside the box. I have noticed him speaking kindly to his assistants. Maria at the front desk has an amazing attitude and is very professional and also personable. I am really happy with the services I have received and most of all with just how everyone speaks so kindly, is so professional and thorough in what they do. I went to several dental clinics because I was having pain in my mouth and sinus for several weeks. It wasn't very obvious where the pain was coming from or what the reason was and none of the three clinics I visited were able to help me with a clear answer. Genesis Dental Esthetics was the last clinic I visited, Dr. Baghdasarian was very informative, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough and he was able to pinpoint exactly why I was having pain which ended up being a chronically infected tooth root right underneath my sinus. He extracted the tooth for me, which cleared up the infection right away within a couple days and put me on meds, and my sinus pain went away as well. I'm now in the process of getting the tooth replaced with an implant, thank you so much for helping me get rid of this pain. I lost a couple of my teeth in a motor vehicle accident, they were broken severely and unfortunately became infected later on as I neglected them. I was referred to Dr. Baghdasarian at Genesis Dental by a friend and I'm so glad that I found this clinic. Maria at the front is wonderful along with the rest of the staff. Dr. Baghdasarian explained everything very thoroughly to me and I had a clear picture of what was going to happen regarding getting my implant surgery done in order to replace my broken teeth. Before my surgery I had a cleaning done with the hygienist, who did a wonderful job and was very gentle. I recently got 2 of my teeth capped with two porcelain crowns and I'm so glad I came in to see Dr. Baghdasarian for a second opinion. I broke both my front teeth after accidental fainting while waiting in line during recent heat waves. Another doctor said the teeth could not be saved, but after my second opinion at Genesis Dental Esthetics, Dr. B mentioned not only could my front teeth be restored again but he also replaced a missing molar with a dental implant. His assistant Maria is a total sweetheart and everything was explained to me in detail by both the doctor and staff. I've been a patient at this dental office for years and have always had a great experience. The staff is incredible--professional, informative, and always pleasant. Maria at the front desk is wonderful and very welcoming, and Ani the hygienist is amazing. They both help make the entire experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. One thing I really appreciate is that appointments are always on time--I've never had to wait. The office runs very efficiently. I had a couple missing teeth and had been planning to replace them for a while now. My co-worker had her implants done here with Dr. B, in fact she had 7 of them placed and she swears she will not trust anyone else ever again. Seeing how happy she was, I came in to see him. The visit was really easy, the location is a little hard to find but it's a cool little clinic, literally , so cold in this office! Dr. B was very professional and seemed super knowledgeable about all sorts of implants. Long story short, got 2 implants placed, process was longer than I expected but really glad I was referred to this place, doctor did a great job. I've been a patient at the Genesis Dental Esthetics for nearly 2 years now, this is one of the best clinics in San Gabriel Valley area. They are always friendly, the doctor and staff are very knowledgeable, and they explain everything to you one step at a time. My first visit here I came in for a severe toothache and Dr. Baghdasarian went through and showed me exactly where the infection was and got me out of pain that first evening. I was able to finally sleep after almost a week of restless nights from the pain. Very thorough dental clinic, Maria in the front office is awesome, she answered all of my insurance questions. Both the doctors I saw here were kind and understanding. I had a serious aesthetic issue that I've had with my teeth since birth, and it has affected my self-esteem greatly throughout my life. I had consultations with several dentists, but Dr. Bagdasarian was the only one I felt confident about doing the treatment as it involved outpatient oral surgery in my mouth and the placement of multiple implants. I am currently travelling in Los Angelas from Australia but wanted to speak to a dentist about some concerns I had with my gums. Dr Baghdasarian was fantastic. We discussed what treatments could wait until I got back to Australia in 6 months and what we could do in the meantime. I appreciated his honesty as he understood that due to insurance reasons, I wanted to wait until I got home to have further treatment. Needless to say I had been putting things off due to financial difficulties and had no insurance. The office visit fee was very reasonable and the doctor was a true gentleman. My experience was very pleasant and straightforward. The doctor did a great job and was very gentle. I also discussed whitening, and came back during a separate appointment and had whitening done which turned out far better than I expected! I had several implants placed at Genesis Dental Esthetics and it was a pain-free and easy experience. Dr. Bagdasarian is really gentle and efficient, and I didn't realize he was finished with my implant surgery until he actually told me himself that we are finished! I have been coming to this clinic for about 1 year. Dr. Baghdasarian and Dr. Duggal have great chair side manners and explain everything in detail. Initially came last year due to a really bad tooth ache and it was treated painlessly by Dr. B over 2 visits.
