Derrick came out today to do about 450 sq ft of tile/grout & our large 6 piece sectional. He did a phenomenal job. His arrival window was between 12-3 & he arrived around 1:30. He completed the job around 3:30 or so. We've had animals and a toddler climbing all over our sectional for over 4 years, so it was definitely due for a professional cleaning and not just my carpet cleaner's attachment. We've only lived in our house for about a year and half and thought might as well have the tile done. Who knew our grout was white and not grey or brown? Overall, we we are very satisfied with the job he did, the professionalism, & the price. We will certainly utilize his services again and recommend him to our neighbors. I purchased the coupon and setup the appointment the staff never mention to me I am outside the service area and will be additional surcharge. When the technician arrive, he mention to me $25 trip charge is in the fine print, but we both look at the fine print and nothing mention $25 surcharge. The only thing on Coupon is "Valid only within 10 miles of zip code 78634". That means the surcharge can be any amount they want to say. Anyway, I went ahead paid that fee but will never use them again. By the way, the technician arrived without a face mask, I asked him to put on his face mask and he did but he never cover his nose while cleaning my house. Worst experience I've had with a contractor so far. I hired this guy to do a very simple job; re-stretch a very small area of carpet. Over the phone he told me it would cost $60 but that he had to come over to make an accurate estimate. We scheduled for a Monday at 8:00 and he arrived at 8:55 (making me late for work). His estimate came out to $85 and I happily agreed to it even though it was higher than what he had told me on the phone. A week later, he came to do the job and stopped in the middle to tell me that he hadn't noticed some of the tack strip was missing so he would have to come again the next week and charge me an additional $60 for the visit! (over the $85 that I already paid him) Not only that but he chipped my baseboard trim with his tools! I don't know about the other reviews here but "Genesis Floor Care" is unprofessional and unethical. Buyer beware. read more

I had just been jipped by a LivingSocial Deal with another mobile detailing service, so I was a bit skeptical that this would work out. The two guys from Genesis not only showed up for the job on time, they called ahead of time to make sure I was home. When they arrived, they were kind, courteous, friendly, and ready to detail my car. And boy did they ever! My car looked brand new when they were finished. I bought a living social deal to have my carpet cleaned and they did a great job. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and what would have taken me about 90 minutes to do with the rug doctor took them 10 minutes and it was the same price, maybe even cheaper. The other great thing was that if you clean your carpets again within the same year they will still honor the Living Social deal price! You can't beat that!! The guy who came out was friendly and professional. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because they never answer the phone, you always have to leave a message and I hate that. I feel that I shouldn't get a machine everytime I call a business. I also tried to e-mail them and never got a response. Genesis came to clean my carpets, and did a fine job. It was standard carpet cleaning - he came through, sprayed the floors, and steam vac'd everything up. The floors looked much better when he was done than they did before he came. He also cleaned a chair at my request, and warned me that it wouldn't look much better when he was done. (It's a cream colored fabric chair that my kid plays video games in and my dog sleeps in. I wasn't expecting it to be clean, but I knew the steam would at least make it a little more sanitary.) I wasn't "5 star" blown away by the experience - but having had other companies come in for the same work, I can say Genesis did every bit as good a job as anyone else, and a far cry more personable while doing it. read more
