If you want your car fixed and you did not buy from them do not go here. They had my brand new 2023 Genesis G70 not once but twice and returned it both times not fixed. I have emails telling them it was not fixed with videos backing it up. They also told me they think since I'm not happy my car isn't fixed I should go elsewhere. Our salesman ditched us for another couple , and yes we had an appointment,but he left us after 90 minutes with no explanation. After papers were signed, and we had told several times that our plates were coming with us, it didn't happen until they had left us sitting for 2 hours for no reason we could see. When they finally handed us they key- and this is with NO going thru showing us the features and how to use them, we had to get somebody with a screwdriver to get us the plates! Another delay. Paperwork was never handed us, however in the exhaustion, we didn't think of it. When I called to ask for them, it was a couple days for reply. The reply was we had to come back and start over because the paperwork was done on the wrong paper. We bought a Genesis, paperwork was on Hyundai paper! Can't be done electronically because they have a desk computer , then papers to sign. So, 90 minutes back we go. We refused the same guy because how were we to trust he would do things right? And mind you, this didn't occur until days of back and forth calls- they don't call back in a timely manner. So, all done- we think. But no. We get a paper in the mail demanding we bring the car back immediately because THEY weren't happy with our financing! What? At this point we should have driven the car thru the showroom window, however, we don't do that. The first paper guy who made the original mistake had called and asked me to call at my convenience , didn't say why. I called and he wasn't working, so I didn't worry. This was before the doodoo hit the fan. So, we again went down with the bring the car back paper. Mad as hell I asked for a manager. Magically they can't find one. For 30 minutes. They thought I would calm down. At the end of this trip, I had the opportunity to talk to the first guy who did the papers wrong, I had really unloaded on him on the phone when we got the paper in the mail to bring the car back. I said when you called and left a message to call at my convenience...he butts in and said I have NEVER called you. Repeated it. I showed him the voicemail with him saying , Hi it's CHRIS . OOPS. So he lied . Fast forward to getting plates. We wanted fresh plates for new car. Tried to order from DMV. Guess what? We got plates in the mail!! Not our special plates . They can't even do that right! Now, it's time for service. Can only do it a Genesis dealer. Closest one is Selma. Tried to make an appointment. Got one.. had a question, called 3 times with promise each time of a return Last time I called was June 22. I was transferred to the service managers private cell phone. I was assured that he would pick it up. Didn't. I left a voicemail. He called back and left me a voicemail. Guess when? JULY 17! And the other 3 voicemails I was assured calls would be returned? No callback. My advice ? Find a reputable dealer! Minus 100 stars. read more

If I could leave negative 5 star review I would. This is the absolute worst dealership I have EVER dealt with. I have owned Mercedes, Hondas, Jeep and countless other brands and fell in love with my GV70. However, the customer service at Selma Genesis is nonexistent. I was so excited when they announced the GV80 Coupe and was sure we would be purchasing one but will never purchase another Genesis again due to the HORRIBLE customer service from Selma Genesis and since they are the only dealership in the Fresno area you would be stuck with them. They have had my vehicle for 3 months and have not even touched it! It's impossible to get a return phone call, the service advisors are rude and condescending. When I call Genesis concierge it's just more of the same. It's been a nightmare of an experience! The vehicles are beautiful but buyers beware DO NOT BUY!! read more

Took my car in for a recall. While there they broke the key cover on the drivers door. They said it was loose and it came off in the techs hand. Yet they failed to put that on their vehicle report. They also didn't mention it when they called me. I know it wasn't loose. I hand wash the car twice a week and it was not loose. At this point they have not said that they would make this good. I will be reaching out to the Genesis corporation. read more

I am completely dumbfounded at how horrible the Genesis/Hyundai customer service is in the Fresno valley area. They are impossible to contact, give false promises then don't follow through, and actually are just a huge pain to deal with. Despite having a warranty, being polite, and constantly trying to follow up, just replacing my broken car dashboard screen has been impossible, and has wasted countless hours. As a physician, this has been a real pain when I am on shift at the hospital to have to set aside time to waste by going to their only dealership all the way in Selma. ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE PLANNING TO BUY A CAR FROM GENESIS/HYUNDAI: DON'T DO IT! I have written in detail exactly my experiences below... I was initially very happy when I bought the Genesis G90. My trouble started when I noticed glue melting down on the monitor screen. I got an appointment with Genesis/Hyundai dealer repair shop in Fresno, ca. My car was examined and oil was changed. I was told that they are ordering the whole monitor and I will be contacted as soon as they will receive it. I waited for a while and contacted them but no call came back so I decided to go myself. To my surprise, I was told that they no longer service Genesis over here. I was referred to the nearest Genesis service at Selma, California which is about 30-40 minutes away from Clovis where I live. When I first drove there without an appointment inquiring about the monitor and whether they have any information about it, they said they don't have me in their system and I have to make an appointment as they have to take out the monitor to examine it. I told them there is no need to do that as it is very obvious and just ask the service manager to look at it, but they outright refused. So I got an appointment after a week on a weekday and I had to rush from another town Madera, Ca. Anyway, on my arrival, all my information was collected and the service manager/ lead person Mr. Jose came to examine the monitor and said that there is no need to do anything and we will order the monitor and call you back as soon as we will get it. Now at this time, the mileage on my car was around 28k. So I waited for about 2-3 weeks and called them. I was informed that they are still waiting so I contacted them after another 3 weeks with no success. At this time I decided to call the main Genesis office which was also a terrible experience. After a long wait and transfers, at last, I got hold of some lady who took all the information and placed me on hold to find out about the situation. In any case, she returned back and told me that she will be calling me back very soon but until now after about 5 months I have not been contacted. So I again contacted the dealer, who took my messages on 2-3 occasions with the promise of calling back. At last, I called them again and wanted to talk to Mr. Jose and I was told he is not there anymore. So once again, my information was collected on the phone and I was told that someone from the service department will contact me. I waited for 3-4 days and I called them back and got transferred from one desk to another, I was connected to the service manager, and to my surprise, it was Jose who after all my references of the previous encounter, he was able to recognize me and placed me on hold. After some time, he returned and told me that the part was returned back since I was not there. That made me upset and I told him that it is I who has been trying to reach you people and I have never received a single call or appointment. Also, I told him that in our last conversation, I had wanted my car brake shoe replaced, and he told me that he was going to order it, as they don't carry it and will fix it together. So he realized his mistake and placed me on hold and contacted the parts department. He returned back and told me they are ordering and I will be contacted once they will receive it. Later on the same day. I received a call from the dealer that I have to pay in advance for the parts. When I told her that it is under warranty (and by the way, now I have 44k miles on my car, from 28k when I started). She said that she will contact me again in the morning and it is almost a week and I am still waiting. I am writing to warn any new buyer that please don't buy this car as there's no service available at least in Fresno valley and Selma Genesis dealer is an unorganized and unreliable place to go. I'm going to forward this to all the departments including consumer protection along with the main Genesis office. It has been stressful as all sorts of warnings about errors, are on my car screen. My husband and I traveled an hour and a half to look at their inventory, and I fell in love with the GV80. Our sales assoc. (Katiana) mentioned that the Genesis Scheduled Maintainenace would be provided to us via Complimentary Valet Services. Essentially, she said because there were no Genesis dealers in my town, the Selma dealer would pick up my car, leave a loaner with me until the service was complete, and return my car to me. We confirmed this when chatting with the service manager (Lamont). And we were sold! We even confirmed this terrific Complimentary Valet/Scheduled Maintenance promise when we signed the finance documents because we were so impressed. Three Selma of Genesis staff were all in agreement! Now that it is time for service, Genesis of Selma has negated their promise. For four and a half weeks now, I have tried to get Genesis Corporate involved in the matter for resolution but I have yet to be successful. Buyer beware, Genesis of Selma has dishonest practices. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of my Genesis GV80. I was able to get exactly the SUV I was searching for.
