At $40 (plus tip) for eyebrow threading, it's definitely on the expensive side, but I was willing to invest if it meant finding someone I could trust with my brows. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of appointments, I never left feeling happy with my eyebrows. From the beginning, I was told that the only way to achieve a nice shape was to let my eyebrows grow in significantly. I personally prefer a more groomed look rather than fuller brows, but I trusted her expertise and wanted to see her vision through. Between appointments, I only cleaned up the middle of my brows at home and left the rest alone. Occasionally, if I had an event to attend, I would tweeze a few stray hairs that had already been threaded previously. At almost every appointment, I was told my eyebrows weren't improving because I was removing hair. The problem is, after almost a year of following her advice, the areas she continually pointed out still never grew in. My hair simply does not grow there. Instead of working with the natural growth I have, I felt like I was repeatedly blamed for something that wasn't within my control. The comment that ultimately made me decide not to return happened during my last visit. When she told me my eyebrow hair wasn't growing, I asked which areas she meant. Her response was, "Everywhere." I found that incredibly discouraging and unprofessional, especially as someone who had consistently supported her business, trusted her process, and paid premium pricing every visit. I also experienced appointments starting late because phone calls were being finished before clients were seen. I tried to be understanding because I know life happens, and I know she's experienced significant life changes. I genuinely wanted to continue supporting her business and gave plenty of grace throughout the year. Ultimately, I decided to try another brow artist at a much lower price point, and I finally walked out with the eyebrow shape I had been hoping for all along. I can absolutely see why Nikki has loyal clients, and I don't doubt that her style works well for many people. However, my experience was that her approach felt very one-size-fits-all. Rather than working with the eyebrows I naturally have, I felt like I was being judged against the eyebrows she wished I had. I believe a great brow artist should be able to adapt their technique to each client's natural growth and desired look. I truly wanted this experience to work out, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of giving it every chance, I simply wasn't satisfied with either the results or the way I was made to feel as a client.

She's fast, meticulous, and ever so sweet. The salon is set up with lounge/beds in one large room. Each bed is separated by a thin curtain. The guests are very considerate of others. They normally have nice music playing in the background so don't be surprised if you fall asleep for the hour or so it takes to get your lashes. Since I'm now a regular, I typically schedule at least two appointments ahead so I can stay booked with Maria. Front desk staff is awesome & always quick to help. I've used other lash lounge salons when I'm traveling, but this location and Maria is definitely my favorite.

I tried a few different stylists and now have Tory. I was very pleasantly surprised when recently, I happened to mention a lack of satisfaction with the service received from a totally different stylist. Tory took it upon herself to follow up with administration which resulted in action that left me feeling like a valued customer. The shop environment is clean and pleasant as well and the front desk staff are always welcoming. Prior to this, I had never gone to a professional to get my brows done, so I was initially a bit nervous because I didn't want my brows to come out looking too unnatural / thin / arched. Thankfully, they put me at ease, listened to what I wanted, and did the perfect amount of cleaning up and shaping so that my brows still looked natural.
