Called to place an order for 3 pizzas. I asked for delivery (which we have had before) and was told no delivery that day because they were short staffed. She told me what time to come pick them up - I got there on time, paid for the pizzas and was then told "it will be a bit yet". Well, I ended up waiting for an extra 40 min after the time I was told pizzas would be ready. Meanwhile, I have a house full of people waiting for their dinner. Needless to say, although pizza is good, I won't return. Such slow service, no apology for the wait, etc. It's a bummer because this place is close to home. This was a disappointment. My family was in town for a wedding, so we trekked across the parking lot to Geno's. There were quite a few people there, but not packed. We were brought drinks and then waited...and waited...and waited for food. There was a larger table of people next to us, and they arrived a few at a time (most arriving after us). They received all of their food before we did. When we did get our food, it wasn't great. It seemed to be overcooked. Even if this is in walking distance from your hotel, I would go elsewhere. read more

The pizza was great and tastes wonderful. However, one of my kids only like cheese pizza and the other wanted bacon. I asked if you get charged for half the price of a topping if you only put it on 1/2 the pizza and was told "no sorry". So I asked if we could put all the topping on the one half and was told "no we cant do that". This wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't charge so much for each topping added to a large pizza. Also when I went to pick up the pizza to go I asked for plates and silverware since we were staying in a hotel and was told that they didn't have any. read more

This pizza place has the friendliest environment of any restaurant in EC. The owner loves to start up friendly conversations and really tries to make all the customers happy with their whole experience. It's really nice to be at a restaurant where the workers actually want to be there. The pizzas are fantastic, the best pizzas in town. They use use the correct cheese, no low moisture here, so the cheese will form a string all the way to your mouth. The sauce is good and you won't ever feel like they held back toppings on you. The only downside is price, but you are definitely getting what your paying for and is still cheaper than many places' pizzas in EC. read more

This pizza place is pretty good, it's a family favorite. I will say the pizza sauce is a little spicy for my liking but all of my family members love it. I also like to add the cheese sticks as an appetizer! Additionally, they have a good gluten free pizza that has never made my family member with Celiac sick. This can be hard to find in EC because although places may claim to have "gluten free" options they are often contaminated by reusing equipment (Pots, pizza cutters, colanders, etc.) The only reason I put 4/5 stars is that this place is pretty pricey compared to other pizza places in the EC area. If you are willing to spend more, this is quality pizza! read more

Amazing pizza! We were in town and craving pizza, we came here because they had the best reviews. We were not disappointed. The bacon cheeseburger pizza smells like an actual cheeseburger, it was crazy delicious. The manager, Paul, was friendly and attentive, it seemed like he knew the local customers by name. Highly recommend! Decided to try this place instead of pizza place in Metropolis hotel, pizza didn't look all that great...and Geno's was a minute walk so why not. Glad we did!! Pizza was really good, perfect amount of toppings and liked the not too thin crust. Cheesebread was good as well, although a little on the cheesy side, they should save some money and use less and it will still taste great! Tried the wings and while bbq flavor they still had a little heat which we liked. Nice side salad too, was impressed with the mixed greens/romaine and not just iceberg which I was expecting. The pizza here is fantastic. Fresh ingredients make the difference! You can tell the veggies and meats are not frozen and the sauce is housemade. I had the deluxe and they loaded on the toppings so you certainly get your money's worth. Decent beer selection and point root beer on tap. Need to try it if you are hungry for pizza. I had the vegetarian lasagna primavera with chicken off the lite menu. The chicken was quite salty for my typical low sodium taste buds. Overall though the meal was still quite good. Walked in at 7pm and was told to grab a dirty table. Sat there for 10 min while someone cleaned the other three dirty tables. Guy behind the counter told her to clean our table and she wiped off the other tables and disappeared. Waited another 20 min while walk-in orders were taken at the counter and nobody ever looked at us. Left and put the menus on the counter. Didn't say a word and never even looked up. The pizza was excellent with loads of toppings, especially cheese. Normally pizzas with mountains of cheese are greasy but somehow Geno's has mastered how to do it with out the grease. Crust is thin and pizza was perfectly cooked. The only negative was we waited a long time to receive our pizzas. The place is small so plan accordingly if you go at a busy time. read more

Stopped by with family while vacationing. We got a deluxe pizza and 4-piece order of cheese bread and both were outstanding in terms of taste and temperature. The bread was some of the best-seasoned that I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly. My only minor complaint is that they forgot to get a root beer that one of our party had ordered. When we pointed this out, the staff was apologetic and quickly remedied the situation. I would highly recommend this place and definitely stop by again if we're in the area again. read more
