This place is... weird. Like suspicious weird. felt like I accidentally walked into a dental lab doing secret experiments. Last time I came here for a cleaning, I left with a bunch of cuts in my mouth that later turned into painful sores. It was super uncomfortable and definitely not normal. I tried calling back multiple times to ask about it, and they literally hang up immediately. No explanation, just hello? *click*. Very strange behavior for a medical office. Overall, the service felt unprofessional, rushed, and careless. I did not feel properly cared for or taken seriously. I won't drop any names but I genuinely would not recommend this place. Smile Dental is the best place for dental care. The staff is amazing! We've been going there for over 15 years. My girls who are now 11 and 14 have been going there since they were little. She said I saw you had a deep cleaning and you have cavities and that shouldn't have been. she took care of me. She know I hate the dentist. She's patient with me Cindy's patient with me. The staff and specialists were great. I liked the way the front desk staff treated me. Overall their customer service is a 10/10. Even the billing department was kind. My favorite experience is with the person who specialized in root canals (I can't remember his name). What makes me give this rating of 3 is my experience with Dr. Cruz. I came in needing a lot of work done and had called prior to arrival about this. I wanted to check in with the doctor if they were up to the task. Dr. Cruz agreed and was willing but I'd have multiple visits. Around the last visits, Dr. Cruz seemed visibly agitated and frustrated while working on my tooth. The visit made me feel resented. I didn't say anything rude, obnoxious, nor was even trying to be amusing with jokes. I was simply nonchalant in my behavior and polite. She seemed well on the initial start of it, until she started working on the tooth. Overall, I felt prematurely judged or at the very least was treated disingenuous. My confidence has lowered but I won't give up and try elsewhere. It's a small place nothing fancy BUT everyone is really nice and accommodates my schedule when needed and has been really thorough when I have questions and telling me what my insurance covers and not with out even asking. I started coming here for cleanings then I decided I wanted to get braces on one appointment they advised me my insurance covers a huge portion of Invisalign so why not try that. It takes a 4x4, a winch, and 5 or six people to get me into the dentist. Once I'm there Xanax, Norco and anything else that will calm my nerves. I hate the dentist! i Just visited today to have 2 fillings done and OMG. Their team is so amazing. Dr. Cruz is gentle and her assistant reassuring. This is a review on excellent customer service only! I haven't had any work done as of yet, but just the promptness and courtesy that I have received from this dental office deserves a shout out. I have called many times and I have never been placed on hold let alone hung up on! I have spoken with Nicole many times (Yes, I am the one who calls what seems to be everyday with the same extraction questions). I also emailed Dr. Cruz directly with my concerns and she responded ASAP...I didn't expect her to respond at all. She answered my question and then some. This dental office was highly recommended by 1800-Dentist. And for those of you who go to the dentist expecting the RITZ CARLTON, do all the yelpers a favor and just go to the RITZ CARLTON. I hadn't been to the dentist in YEARS, and finally went last year. I definitely needed work done as far as a deep cleaning , and I was super scared/nervous, but they were great with me! It was all over before I knew it, and it was like I had new clean/healthy teeth again (without needing any severe work done like I thought was going to be the case). No cavities here, surprisingly! I also needed my wisdom teeth pulled out, and I was a total wreck when I came back for that appointment. Turns out I was freaking the heck out over nothing, lol. Got a deep cleaning from Veronica today, she was very friendly and thorough. I needed a deep cleaning which did a great job of spiffing up my teeth. They have a computer infront of the chair that allows you to watch one of many dvd's they have pre loaded. I had them put on I am Legend, so I hear a crazy zombie movie reminding me getting my teeth owned with a mechancial device on a thursday night could be much worse haha. Funniest thing was her quote, "smell your floss," for anyone who ever wonders why your breath stinks this is her answer. They worked really well with my delta dental insurance hooking me up with a REALLY great price. I highly reccomend SmileNOW in Corona, they have a nice clean facility with a beautiful salt water fish tank in the lobby. read more

Dr Cruz and her staff are amazing, when you walk in the door you are greeted by the sweetest person, Liz and she is very prompt with scheduling you in when you need an appt or helping you with any questions within her realm. Cindy is Dental Assistant/back office (sorry not sure )? she will always be up front with you when working out the financials. Cindy is also calming and has a warm personality and will always check on you when your in the chair to make sure you are comfortable. I'm very nervous when it comes to dentistry, but also due to heredity of bad teeth and many bad dentist, but Dr Cruz herself is the sweetest, very professional and has a great bedside manner, she also has a light touch when working on your teeth, so no fear when getting your teeth worked on. This place is a nightmare!! I came to get another set of braces in January 2020. The bottom piece was not done properly... when I went back and ask to get fix they refused to replaced the piece or give a refund . During the Pandemic in March 2020, I escalated the situation to the office owner and no refund was given nor a solution of the problem!! I ended up paying another dental office for a new set!! I absolutely dread going to the dentist. It's even worse when you have to stop somewhere random while out of town for an urgent visit. But when you find an office that is friendly, caring, professional, and know what they are doing, then it's really not so bad. SmileNOW has all these qualities. I am a physician myself but usually weary of going to the dentist. I went last month for standard check up and cleaning. SmileNOW dentists are very profesional and through. They found a small cavity and erosions that my old dentist either did not catch or think was significant. I also had my teeth whitened for a great price. Better put a note here to inform other people who are looking to see a good dentist. I went to this dental office because of looking up excellent comments in yelp about this dental office. But here are my experiences going there for last 1 and half years. - I am always on time on every visit, but I was put on wait for at least half hour to forty five minutes on almost every visit. Sometimes up to an hour. - It is not always, but happens sometimes when the dentist is free up from someone who didn't show up before my appointment, I received calls asking me if I can go earlier to fill up the gap. When I rushed up there, "sorry can you wait?" "We will play you a movie to watch." - Do you have any questions? But would not inform you what you should be aware of. I had one tooth pulled. The stuff like a cotton ball was placed at the wound to stop bleeding. I was very careful not to swallow the cotton ball. But it turns out the cotton ball is dissolvable, and I swallowed it. It was nice that the dentist comforted me on next visit, "don't worry. It is dissolvable." - Wanna know which teeth and what to be treated beforehand? Why not just open the mouth, and you will know it right after the treatment. - Insurance. Better know what you are charged to. But most likely, the front desk clerk would be frustrated if you ask. And it is very likely the front desk clerk would tell you that your insurance is no good, but they will help you. And by the end of year, if there is unused coverage in insurance, they will charge up the leftover to totally cover the "help". Better help yourself not to go there! read more

I had the most amazing experience here today. I was extremely nervous going to a brand new place in an emergency root canal situation and not knowing anything about the office. All of the staff made me feel completely comfortable and were extremely professional. I was the last patient of the day so I can imagine that they were looking forward to going home because I know they were not planning on the amount of time I was there. I went to Smile Now..time for my quarterly check up. I have always had great service from Veronica she is so funny and when they numbed me she knows I hate needles and she holds my hand. I find their customer service, cleaning recommendations, and ability to work around my schedule what sets them apart from other dentists. I think they really understand what it takes to maintain the customer. They treat you well. All the staff members are very knowledgeable and polite. And the most significant positive point is that they will not sell you any service. NO CHEATING or GREEDINESS. They will give you the estimate and work according to your budget. Very Very budget conscious which works great for customers. If they give you appointment then they will ensure to have you in and start working within 30 mins. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The staff is AMAZING! They are all very nice, professional and caring. They make you feel so comfortable. I had several cavities filled and a crown and they did such a great job that I didn't feel any pain at all. I've never gone to a dentist without feeling pain (until now!). This office is very friendly but beware, as the office is contracted with my dental plan, their specialists are not and they will not tell you that! I learned after the hard way! $800 out of my pocket! I will never go back! I asked why they were charging me so much out of pocket and not once did they tell me the specialists were not contracted with my insurance! And they even refused to clean my teeth! So please always ask if the dentists and specialists are contracted! Because they will take the PPO insurance but if the are not contracted they charge very high co-pays! Just got off phone with my dental insurance and they explained what happened! Bad review as they did not honestly answer my questions when I asked them why the co pays were so high! read more

Just wanted to inform you all. we were advised of an office policy that the work done is only guaranteed for a year. Dont go looking for it anywhere though as its not posted, you dont sign anything. Its an owner policy that they keep between themselves. so if you are not looking to get a filling, cap, or any other procedure done yearly do not go to this place. i was called by several people who yes were very nice but had no idea what they were talking about. Didnt have my sons records right and keep in mind only went once. BEWARE. good thing several people from my office had previously gone to this place and i was able to make them aware of this so called policy and they will not be returning either. read more
