I had to call my insurance to ask, turns out office submitted the claim before the procedure was complete so insurance denied the claim. I had to call to ask the office to resubmit the claim. When I called to request they do, the first thing out the women's mouth was "are you calling to pay the full balance?" I feel like the office double dips the payments. Has the patient pay a large amount and then also bills insurance, I can't prove that, but I always felt what I had to pay out of pocket seems excessive.

His office only uses composite (the white resin) so no nasty mercury fillings. The numbing shot did not hurt at all and the drill is so much quieter than it was a few years ago. He explained what he was going to do before he did it and what it would feel like. I know most people might not need that but I definitely get anxious during dental visits. Long story short, I'm not afraid of the dentist anymore! I can't wait to go back to get my other filling done and get started on my clear aligners. Plus free whitening for life!
