Everyone at GentlingSmiles works really hard to make sure that you have the best experience you could possibly have. Now granted for pretty much everyone, going to the dentist is really a chore, and not something we typically enjoy, but they definitely tried their hardest. First with the office staff with their great directions as well as getting me in about a week before my original appointment. Then on to my x-rays, cleaning and exam all of which went really smoothly. I had different people who did my x-rays versus who did the cleaning all of which did an excellent job and were all very friendly. Dr. Gentling was very kind and I was happy with my dental exam. Most of the staff have been there for a very long time many around 20 years. That says a lot about the dental office. I'm thrilled I found them. I just lucked out that I had gotten a coupon and therefore decided to give them a shot. I did call back a few days after the fact to inquire about what the cost would've been had I not had the coupon seeing as I do not have insurance and have to pay out-of-pocket. The cost was about $90 more than most of the other dental clinics. I have been to recently. I definitely like GentlingSmiles 1,000 times more than any of the other dental offices, but I'll have to decide if it's worth the $90 difference to return in six months. I assume most people have dental insurance and therefore wouldn't have this issue. But it was definitely a great experience! everything from the waiting room to the wonderful people who work here. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to this dental office. I was looking for an appointment a few weeks out but they had a cancellation and was able to get me in the same day. Shawndra sent over the digital paperwork for me to fill out so that when I arrived I didn't have to fill out the clipboard of hell. I was greeted very professionally and was directed into a very nice room. First was my X-rays followed by I would say the best cleaning ever. Molly was my hygienist and she really took her time to explain every step along the way. Always checking in with me to gauge my comfort level. After my cleaning, I was introduced to Doctor Gentling and was very happy with the suggestions he recommended for me in the future. My parents are doctors, they work in their clinics for their whole life, as well as my two brothers, but they work for their hospitals. So I have nature feelings and judgments on health care workers. Like most people, I'm not a big fan of having work done on my teeth. I had chemically bonded teeth since I was 17 and they were stained. Badly needed repair! Dr. Gentling and Bobbie as well as all of the staff are the kindest and most comfortable staff I have ever experienced in a dental office. High tech equipment and gentle, professional work were the big bonuses. I am so pleased with the Pro job done on my porcelain veneers and the informative service before and during the process. This is by far the best Dentist and the best Staff in the entire city. My husband who is a doctor and myself, have been coming to this dentist practice for over 25 years. Dr. MacGeorge retired, keeping the same wonderful staff and bringing on Dr. Gentling to replace him. You could not ask for a better Dentist or staff. Anyone who says different must be crazy in the head. He just finished a very challenging and difficult procedure with a bridge between my two implants. Now, it's absolutely perfect. Dr. Gentling took his time, and being the professional he is, went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and precise before finishing the job. This took time with the Lab, called and discussed options with me. Most dentists would of never given me the attention to detail like Dr. Gentling did. I appreciated how easy it was to schedule and receiving text reminders. The hygienist was friendly and thorough and made the experience comfortable. This was my first time coming to Gentling Smiles & I had such an amazing experience! From the time I walked into the office, the front desk receptionist was so kind, warm & had great energy. The waiting area was super clean, welcoming and they had comfy chairs Joi did such a great job taking my X-ray's & explaining the pictures to me and did good job cleaning my teeth she was gentle and it was pain free. On top of it she hooked me up with a bag of goodies to take home Dr.Gentling is amazing!! I recently had my first visit at Gentling Smiles and I have to say that it was a refreshing experience. After my previous office seemed like a never ending games of musical chairs with a different dentist and hygienist every time I came in, this office has a much more personal feel to it. Started seeing him for implants and some crowns , the one crown he did put in is meant for a 6 year olds instead of a 60 year old !his bed side manner reminds me of someone that should be only when your under heavy medication or not conscious at all ! His one assistant is do heavy handed she should be working at a construction site instead of a dentist office , they have a problem keeping staff at the front desk and I can see why now !
