Mr. Andy and Mr. Waylen just delivered our Amana top load washer (as low-tech as we could get) and we could not be more excited about an appliance! We have been window shopping for about three weeks, just before and over the winter holiday break. I spoke with Ms. Sharon just before Christmas and she advised they'd be open yesterday, Tuesday 12/30/2025. I liked her phone manners and made it a point to stop in. Walking in the door, she wasted no time greeting us and finding out what we were in the market for. She showed us about five or six models, all affordable, and reputable brands we recognize or have owned before. We were thrilled that the installation and haul away were under $100! There were a couple of payment options and we're glad they told us about the 4% service charge before tendering payment with a card. We chose to pay with cash app to avoid that fee. We have been keeping house for 36 years and we used to shop Circuit City, then we became Best Buy customers. One of the aspects we came to expect was a quick delivery promise, then ridiculous delays in actual delivery. So, neither of us reacted when Ms. Sharon kept saying, "We can bring it tomorrow!" In my mind, I was like, "Yeah, right! We'll see." Well, we see! Thank you, Mr. Andy and Mr. Waylen! We have been fortunate enough with our purchases to seldom have to replace major appliances, and when we do, we usually bit the bullet and buy new. Bought a used GE electric stove. All was good until the heat started fluctuating. Being the kind of guy who likes to fix things myself, I was asking questions of the service tech and he says to me, "I know you are out of warranty, but if you have a truck or a trailer and can bring it in, we will just swap it out for you". I just had a great result when I needed a washer & dryer...quick...and cheap. They worked with me on the price, adjusted the delivery price a bit b/c I offered to help carry and install the units. Now they are working just fine. Will they last? Nobody Knows! But that's expected with used appliances. New appliances suck today and are often dead in only 8 to 12 years. Gently Used Appliance (GUA) is in the market to fix up used appliances, give them a few more years of useful life, and sell them at a fair price. And they do this very well! But there is always a risk. This transaction is just like buying a used car at a dealership. Dealers acquire used cars at auctions, check the engines, change the fluids, detail them and sell them; hoping they are reliable vehicles for the new owner. GUA buys appliances, cleans them, tweaks them, checks the motors, greases the parts, replaces what's needed, and sells them, hoping they are reliable too. If you want new, buy new; but if you want to take a small risk and get appliances at well under half the cost as new, these are the folks to use!! read more

Save yourself the hassle and buy new if you can. The quality of appliance is a crap shoot. In my case, the delivered my unit 3 or 4 days after they committed, 4 blocks from there store. I had a service call 90 days after purchase and was charged $80 because the drain line was clogged and the door seal needed adjustment. Not sure how you have those problems if it serviced right from the beginning. Just my $.02 but I won't go this route again. read more

My parents purchased a fridge, stove, and dishwasher from this place. Within a short time their whole house was infested with roaches coming from the back of the appliances and they stopped working. After numerous attempts to solve the issues with the store my parents were cursed out, and threatened with physical violence. Stay away from this store and don't support someone who would curse at or treat customers this way. read more
