    I reached out on a Thursday afternoon at 4:30 pm and he came out Friday morning and repaired my dryer quickly. Highly recommend!

We have been window shopping for about three weeks, just before and over the winter holiday break. I spoke with Ms. Sharon just before Christmas and she advised they'd be open yesterday, Tuesday 12/30/2025. I liked her phone manners and made it a point to stop in. Walking in the door, she wasted no time greeting us and finding out what we were in the market for. She showed us about five or six models, all affordable, and reputable brands we recognize or have owned before. We were thrilled that the installation and haul away were under $100! There were a couple of payment options and we're glad they told us about the 4% service charge before tendering payment with a card. We chose to pay with cash app to avoid that fee. We have been keeping house for 36 years and we used to shop Circuit City, then we became Best Buy customers. One of the aspects we came to expect was a quick delivery promise, then ridiculous delays in actual delivery. So, neither of us reacted when Ms. Sharon kept saying, "We can bring it tomorrow!" In my mind, I was like, "Yeah, right! We'll see." Well, we see! Thank you, Mr. Andy and Mr. Waylen! We have been fortunate enough with our purchases to seldom have to replace major appliances, and when we do, we usually bit the bullet and buy new. Right now, we are trying to economize wherever we can, so we decided to try Gently Used Appliances. We are so happy we did!

    We had our refrigerator to go out the day after Thanksgiving. I found Mr. Appliance online and gave…read morethem a call. The tech came out and advised that a thermostat was needed and had to be ordered. They ran my credit card for 340.00. This price included the service call fee and the price of the part. I was told the part would be in soon. 1 week later the tech returned and installed the part. I was told to give it 24 hours to completely cool. 24 hours later it was still a hot box! The tech returned ( Im having to take off from my job) and said that it was not the thermostat but could now be the damper (cooling). I called the office and spoke with Joyce. I was told that the new part would be about 300 but I will get credit of 60.00 for the part that I did not need. Really, I dont think so. The tech advised that the part could be ordered but would take up to one week. All this time our family is still without a refrigerator! I was able to find the part myself online. it was the OEM part. The part was 106.00 I had this part the next day via FedEX. I called the office and said that I had my own part. I was able to get the part number because the tech wrote the name and part number on the invoice.Ms Joyce (front office) said no way can you use your own part. Why, I had the part next day- why should I pay triple for their part and wait for another week. This makes no sense. Ironically, the tech said he had not been doing this job that long and he would rather be back into computer science. This company appears to want to just throw parts at you and make you pay. Totally deceptive, and not customer service. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to calling this company out. By the way they dont respond back to emails nor messages left on their voicemail. Poor customer experience, and want me to pay for a part that was not needed at all. We have to do better. If you add the price of the parts and service call, I could have brought another refrigerator! They dont care, never reached back out to make any amends to this situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Dont just throw parts at the unit at the cost of the consumer. By now, one would have thought that someone in management would have reached out with some type of offer, resolve or recommendation.

    Found Midwid Repairs here on Yelp…read more Called this morning (Saturday). Phone was answered promptly, with the utmost professionalism. The owner came out ON TIME accessed the job and gave me a quote which I accepted. He left to get the part... returned and completed the job. I am a VERY happy customer and will be calling Midwid for any future appliance repairs. Good to know a GREAT biz!

    BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! My issue with my simple double door…read morefridge started before Mother's Day. I called MidWid Maintenance the day before Mother's Day to set up and appointment for a technician to come out. Steven told me that the service charge to come out was $175 and that if I got my system repaired with him, the charge would be applied to the repair. Steven was supposed to come out on mother's day between 12 and 2 pm. Steven called me at 1:04 pm to tell me that he had a "family" emergency and he would have to come out first thing the next day and drop the service charge to $125. I needed my fridge fixed so I agreed. I should have ran then. but hindsight is always 20/20. Steven didn't come until almost noon. He then stated that the damper needed to be changed and ordered the part. He said that the repairs would be $400. He also said that the coils needed to be cleaned. He ordered the part which he said would take 2 days. He was supposed to install the part on Wednesday, but he stated we had to wait until Thursday because he was stuck in Sandy Springs. He installed the damper and left like everything was ok. The fridge was still giving the code and not cooling. He came back again that Saturday (5/20/2023) and had us take everything out of the freezer and he checked the inner workings and still couldn't figure it out. He stated that the thermistor needed to be changed and he should of known and changed it the first time. He also stated that they are supposed to be changed together, but he was trying to save us money, as though we told him we needed to save money. Steve ordered the thermistor and came out on 5/24/2023. He insisted that was the last thing that needed to be fixed and we should be all set. Steven left my home after taking another $150 for the thermistor knowing full and well that the fridge was not working because the air was not blowing in the back out of the damper door. He told my husband that we have to give it 24 hours to cool. Common sense says that 24 hours of no cool air blowing into the fridge will still result in a hot fridge. I called Steve and explained this to him and stated that he will be back first thing the next morning to fix it. I texted him that morning and I have not heard anything back. I called up another company and the tech asked whether the sensor was changed. I was able to call All Major Appliance out of McDonough and was given a time slot of 9 to 1 pm. The tech arrived at 5 and all within 5 minutes knew what was wrong with my fridge and fixed it within 30 minutes. He said that was the first thing that should have been checked instead of going directly to purchasing parts. He said that it was a mistake he made in his first year of repairing fridges 35 years ago. The charge was only $229 and the other repairs were unnecessary. I would not recommend allowing Steve or any of his affiliates in your home. He is liable to break or destroy your items. When challenged, he is quick to say he has over 20 years in the business, but his work says he barely has 20 minutes. He obviously can only fix light issues based on some of his 5 star reviews. If you have a major issue going on or you need a professional contractor, he is not the one to use.

    Just the same as the other negative comments here. Took a week in a half for a tech to be scheduled…read moreafter they were told what was wrong with the dryer and model number included. Shipping took 2 days and another week for the tech to be scheduled. I couldn't wait 3 weeks for a dryer to be fixed so I replaced the parts myself. They are now calling demanding the rest of the payment for the unfinished job. This is not how you run a successful business!!! SCAM OF A COMPANY! Also, after telling the tech that the washer worked and sounded fine, he insisted on running a diagnostic which was him staring into the washer for 10 minutes while it ran. He then proceeded to tell me that it looks fine. No S H I T ! I did not approve you staring for 10 minutes at the cost of $70. If I have access to the same parts that you claim are $50...you might want to choose a different supplier when Amazon has the same OEM part for $6. What a shame.

Without providing me any verbal or written estimate, he fixed the problem and after worked he was telling me $705.00. I was shocked. I was not prepared to spent that amount of money for this old freezer. If he would tell me the estimate I would ask him, no thank you. I would have to loss $119 The lady from the company charged me $119.00 before sending the tecnician. I have to provide her the credit card information ( this is the first step to get your credit card information so they can charge you whatever they think they should ) Anyway I told Richard that is too much for this little work. he called this comapny and the lady ( most posibility the same one ) start speaking with me and offered me $86.00 discount. I already had a 10% off coupon. She told me when I first called, $119 will be apply (credited ) to the work invoice if I agree with the estimate. I never get an estimate. She did not credited $119 to the final invoice. I had to pay them $619.00 Almost 27 days later I called them that freezer is not working right , she sent the same tecnician, I told him in the very begaining when he walked in, I am not going to spend a single penny for this anymore. You already took my $619.00 He said nothing wrong with his workd ( he spent just about 3 monutes to veryfy his work he completyed on 02/08/2023) and his company send him because company beleive it was his lack of work . Richard telling me he has to get paid. I told him not a single penny. He called the same lady in the office in the parking area and came back to shake my hand and lef. within few minutes I got text message from my bank and saw they charged me $119 without even letting me know or getting my permision. I am goint to dispute and reported to BBB
