My home is just 2.5 years old, but the new carpet installed in the home started bunching up in 2 bedrooms and on 33 stairsteps/landings due to the hasty job done by the carpet installers hired by my builder. The builder sent someone from the carpet installer to fix the bumps that started forming within the 1-year home warranty period, but he only went as far as to use the kickstop to stretch the carpet a tad, but the bumps remained and worsened over time. I found Genuine Carpet Repairs (Brian) on Yelp and on Nextdoor and he did a great job on relatively short notice and at a very reasonable price in a little over 1.5 hours. In the 2 bedrooms, he had to cut out about 1 full inch of carpet each in order to stretch it fully, but the bumps are all gone throughout the house and the carpet looks the way it should now, including on the stairs. I highly recommend him for his services and would use him again, if needed. read more

My little dog had been eating the carpet near the laminate divider to the point where the spike strip was starting to show and poking us in the foot. I reached out to a couple of businesses to see if they can fix it if I didn't have any spare carpet or a spot where they can take from and replace that carpet (ie. a closet).
