I seriously was not expecting to love them so much. She took her time to make sure I like each finger, and fixed it if I didn't. It's nice to find a nail tech who cares. I've been here a few times for manicures. You can just walk in and get what you want. It's quiet and has a nice family vibe. One time the male nail tech did my acrylic set and he was a bit rough and it hurt for days afterwards. I like the younger female tech, she's super precise and even with the application. My first time here, went on lunch break, I have a trip tomorrow and can't get to my normal salon in league city in time. I just got a standard acrylic refill with color. I will say my technician was sweet and very good about getting my nails to the right size and shape. I was also impressed with how quickly I was seated and the clear pricing menu on the walls. I am not happy about the results. At checkout I told them there was staining on my cuticles and she told me to go home and scrub it with a brush? I told them their job is to clean it all up for me and she said that this happens with darker/red colors. This is false. I have gotten all kinds of colors over the years, including green which has stained my nail bed but not my skin. I give 2 stars because they were quick and easy to communicate with and clear menu and shaping guides on wall. But the outcome itself is sloppy and I'll have to get my nails redone as soon as I get back in town. read more

I really appreciate them taking me when it was less than an hour from closing, but I definitely felt rushed. The lady that did my toes couldn't do the design I picked out, so we picked a different one, and she still messed up on it. After the 2nd time I just went with it. As for my shellac manicure, I asked them to be trimmed a little and they cut my nails wayyyyy too short. Not only that, but it felt like the guy was trying to cut my cuticles too deep, and ended up making me bleed on 2 fingers. I also have residue of my old polish on my fingers. Needless to say, not happy. They have great prices ($49 for spa pedicure, shellac manicure, and toe design), and maybe wanted to go home, but that kinda sucks to give me bad service. Made an appointment at Genuine Nails for a full set for myself and a pedicure for my mom. We went just in time for our appointment however, they were already busy with customers. They sat my mom right away in a pedicure chair and her tech turned the water on. The water was really hot. We tried telling the tech but she was busy with another customer and didn't hear us. Finally after 10 minutes they got started on my nails. I'm assuming the guy who did my nails was Ryan. He did an excellent job with my full set and I would recommend him.
