ok back after some years this place is horrible i started with one tech for one style then started another tech the next time and stuck with her for years the first tech got upset and reported my tech multiple times for "stealing her customers" when i specifically requested her anyway then we had to start calling the owner to make sure she can't make false reports then the lady who did my nails ended up getting fired or quitting im not sure then was texting my mom requesting money ‍ then we never went back too much drama read more

Excellent service, kind and knowledgeable staff. Typically I get just simple pedicures. I have been coming here for several years. They also offer you a choice of beverages such as white wine, water,or a mimosa. Typically if you have an appointment, they take you in a timely fashion. Other salons haven't done that. Additionally, other salon employees often just talk among themselves. At Tricycle Nails they speak to you, not just with each other. It's taken me a while to write this review because I didn't know how to explain what happened to me. I csme here because I wanted to receive a pedicure at a place that uses the sanitary bags in the pedicure bowls. I saw in the reviews that they did so I went it. I went early one morning, shortly after they opened and there was only one person inside. I thought that was a good sign and would mean I could get in and out quickly. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I chose from the pedicure menu and settled into my seat thinking that I would be out in an hour, only to end up at the salon for almost three hours!! The woman doing my feet took damn near two hours just for basic pedicure services. She was rough with my feet and I jerked my foot out of her hands a few times when she was cutting unnecessarily deep in my left big toe but she would pat my foot and keep going. It took her FOREVER. They opened at 10am and I walked in shortly after but I didn't leave until 1:30pm. The woman spent the whole time speaking to someone else in another language so I have no idea why it took her so long, but I was very concerned when she seemed to be finished even though she didn't do any of the wax or scrubbing salts or anything that I asked for. When she stood up I decided I would pay for a basic service and go find a better place, but then a man sat down and started painting my toes. I's asked for the cat eye design, which was really cute, but I had no idea it was so involved. It was another 20-25 minutes for that polish. After he finished, the woman returned to do the remainder of the services I ordered. My big toe was so sore so I couldn't really enjoy the hot stones, paraffin, or scented scrub. My toe was incredibly sore for the next two weeks and then I was horrified to find the skin around my nail darken and then peel off!! It was scary and I hope she didn't give me an infection. I had some pretty thick acrylics from the last place I had a bad experience with. I needed them, taken off and replaced with a new set of stilettos. Unfortunately, this was also a bad experience. The first lady that was trying to take off my nails seemed very annoyed at the situation and the man that took over for her did a good job taking my nails off, although I got handed off to yet another tech for the filing and polish, I was charged $95 for what should be about a $65 set. I can see it being a charge for long nails, but these are medium length at best. I also didn't get any cuticle oil at the end. I think that if they didn't want to do the type of nails that I wanted they should've told me they could not do it. I've paid less for longer nicer, looking nails, so the reviews that say this place is decently priced I would have to disagree. I will continue my search to find a nearby nail salon that can actually do long stiletto nails. read more

I stumbled upon this shop a few months back during a nail crisis. I had an event to attend that evening and only an hour to spare in between meetings. I noticed the sign driving down Bay Area Blvd and decided to give them a try. My technician was the sweetest and very skilled. Because of Tracy I would never go back to TRICYCLE Nail & Spa again. There are many good Nail Salons near me, where the techs actually are very friendly and act appreciative of their clients business. Got my prom nails done here I was blown away. So I came in with a half-assed idea of what I wanted so Ivy recommended me a glitter to translucent pink ombré, so many people complimented them. Made my prom amazing despite the 100° weather. For Christmas I got dip nails here and they were AMAZING the green/teal glitter is GORGEOUS I got a lot of compliments for them too.
