Horrible business owner. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Brandon the owner is an unreasonable person and should not be in business with his attitude. I will admit that I have been satisfied with this dry cleaner for well over a decade until this week. I took pants in there to get laundered, I did not ask for a crease to be put into my pants yet it came back with one. I asked them to redo it without the crease. I came back again but the crease is still there and the owner, who said that the pants were made that way and there is nothing he can do. I told him I bought them without a crease- He still argued with me. When I asked him to reimburse me for a new pair he said no. I cannot believe how he can run a business like this and his customer is never right. I would highly suggest that you DO NOT do business with them knowing that if they destroy your clothing that it is not their fault and will not pay damages. I dropped off my well-traveled garments last week. Shortly thereafter, they provided me spotlessly cleaned and crisply starched clothes that sparkled shiny enough for the board room or the date you that you dearly want to impress. The customer facing personnel are courteous and expedient. This is a well-oiled machine deserving of the highest kudos available. Exceptional products that don't break the bank. I will definitely return soon. Dry cleaners get a bum rap as a rule. This particular dry cleaner is a gleaming exception to that peculiar rule, in spades. Mr. Lee's refusal to admit that he can make a mistake was my first sign that I would get no correction for Lone Star Cleaner's mistakes. They laundered, starched and steam ironed a silk shirt. Mr. Lee insisted that was as I had ordered. They only half-ironed but did not dry clean a pair of wool slacks. Mr. Lee insisted the wrinkles hung back in when the slacks were placed on the hanger. They had and laundered, starched and steam ironed a pair of linen slacks. Mr. Lee insisted that was as I had ordered. I asked if he was willing to do anything and he said he would dry clean the slacks and silk shirt again. And then he said he would have to charge me for the repeat service. Quite a shame. With next day service (as long as you come to pick up after 5PM), I've had only prompt service, a quick turn-around, and a genuine smile whenever I enter the Lone Star Cleaners store. We were loyal customers of Lone Star Cleaners for over 7 years, but since they sold to the new owners, Brandon and Stacy in the summer of 2018, their quality has dropped dramatically. We tried to work with the new owners as they experienced growing pains and accepted multiple credits for their low quality dry cleaning and laundry services. After losing one shirt (found several weeks later) and ruining one of my wife's favorite dresses (one of the strings that tied at the sleeve got ripped off), we stopped going there. It wasn't the money, it was the cost of our time and having to return shirts to be recleaned, repressed and / or the cost of replacing our clothes. They were no longer worth the investment. A month ago, we found two shirts from the last pieces of laundry they did for us. They had very unusual stains, like bird droppings, between the two shirts where they were touching together. The shirts were brand new. They were from my son who is a college student and were from Nordstrom. We bought them last summer during their Men's half yearly sale. Since he doesn't dress up very often, we didn't notice the poor quality cleaning until he took them out of the plastic a month ago. When we brought them to Lone Star Cleaners, they tried to deny responsibility because several months had passed since they did the laundry. But since it had their tag on the clothes, they couldn't deny it was last laundered by them. We gave them two attempts to clean the shirts and they did have success with one, but the other had a permanent stain. I just met with the owner Brandon and we both agreed the stain was still on there. When I said that I no longer wanted to keep wasting time on trying to clean the shirt and wanted a refund for the purchase price of the shirt which was $96, he refused. He only agreed to pay 10x the dry cleaning because it was their policy. Then he proceeded to deny that they ever caused the problem for the stain. He said he couldn't replace the clothes that they ruined at what it costs the consumers, it would be too expensive. Their policy limits their liability to 10x what it costs them clean it. He is right. That is what their policy states. That doesn't change the fact that they ruined the shirt. It doesn't remove me from being liable for taking my dry cleaning to a place that has a demonstrated history of delivering poor quality work. We no longer go to this dry cleaner. I do not trust the new ownership. They do not take responsibility for their low quality and were unwilling to resolve our issue in a satisfactory way. read more

These people are the nicest, most generous folks you would ever have the privilege of doing business with. They heard we were fire victims and cleaned all the clothes donated to us without charge and all same day. They continue to ask us each time we see them how we are. Not one other business in this entire area did anything for us. They have been nothing but kind and supportive, examining every article of clothing, ensuring each piece had all the buttons, zippers were functional, seams were stitched and stains removed. You just don't find customer service like this anymore. They will always have our business, even living in Liberty Hill now. read more

Lone Star Cleaner's ruined 3 of my wife's garments. I found stains and rips on 2 dresses and 1 shirt when I got home. They didn't even notify me at the store. When I brought them in, they were very rude to me. It felt like they were scolding me. I will never go there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My family and I have been using Lone Star for about 15 years. We continue to use them even though we've moved to Round Rock. I've had everything from button down shirts to cashmere sweaters to silk quilts cleaned there and every time they do a fabulous job. Nothing I have taken there has been lost or damaged. Lone Star Cleaners was friendly, fast, and very reasonably priced. I went somewhere else for my last dry cleaning (Reid's, on Parmer) and immediately regretted it! They were not as friendly, and definitely not as cheap. I will be coming back Lone Star from now on! read more

Used these guys twice, third time I asked the owner if they'd warranty their work should I get them back without buttons and he got really defensive. First two times I used them I got a couple shirts back without a button here and there and a couple pants legs came back un-himmed/sewed. Both times I gave them 10+ shirts/pants so I wasn't too terribly upset that some came back damaged. I also realize that things just happen outside of anyone's control. The owner, I assume as he said he was the owner, stated that he was unwilling to warranty the work and that I'd have to go somewhere else to get my shirts repaired in the event that they mess them up (not his exact words but you get the context). Went to Reids, they were ok... no missing buttons but they were pretty pricy. They, however, would repair shirts if they were damaged in their care. Found another place off Jolleyville that is $2/shirt, they will fix damaged shirts for free, and they text you when your shirts are ready for pick up. Wish I could remember their name. Duval & Jolleyville - They're better, just a lil more expensive... and nicer staff too. Hope this helps! read more
