We drove there at 1am in the rain and had high hopes she would pull through, but the X-ray showed a terminal issue and the outcome was inevitable. We appreciate the compassion and professionalism of the staff, especially so late at night. Would highly recommend. My only complaints: 1) No airflow in the two rooms off to the side. Not so bad if you're only in there for 15 min but after an hour, you have to open the door just to breathe. 2) The TV in the lobby is too loud. The people working the counter can hear YOU through the glass partition, but are not aware that your ears are competing with the TV just to hear what they're saying back at you. Another customer came in just after us with a dog whose eye had popped out of the socket. :-( They also had difficulty hearing anything from the counter staff thanks to that TV. Maybe a nice, quiet video loop of relaxing/calming scenery, flowing water, etc.? I can't hear over David Attenborough's voice and that's saying a lot since he's a fairly soft-spoken guy.

When the staff spoke with us, his response was dismissive and showed no compassion. He even asked if bloody diarrhea was our only concern, despite us clearly explaining how serious her symptoms were. When I described Peanut's symptoms to the front desk staff, she immediately tried to assume it was a seizure, even though that was never part of her symptoms. After 45 minutes of waiting, the staff told us the doctor was ready and asked us to hand over Peanut. We were confused as to why we couldn't be present for the initial exam, but we complied. Another 30 minutes passed, and when we asked for an update, we were told the doctor was with another patient and Peanut was "next." Then Peanut vomited blood again, so she was taken back immediately and again we were told she was next. We waited another hour, and by this time it was 12:30 AM with still no care provided. At that point, we were frustrated and concerned for her safety, so we decided to leave and find another urgent care. We found WAG Animal ER, only 8 minutes away, with the same $100 exam fee and no wait. The difference was night and day. The staff there was kind, compassionate, and professional. Peanut was seen by a doctor within 5 minutes. And the Dr even called us 3 days later to check on her status.

Warning: "Free exam" trap. I brought my cat in for a free exam offer to check a tail-biting issue…read more The vet spent quite a bit of time looking for fleas until she found one sitting right on top of my cat's fur. She then recommended Revolution flea treatment for a whopping ~$180 for 6 tubes, ~$76 for amoxicillin, ~$80 for Prednisolone, $89 just to shave a tiny part of his tail and clean it, plus a $12 waste disposal fee. Total estimate was around $430-$450. When the vet assistant showed me the screen with all the $$$, my jaw dropped. Of course, I declined the medications and politely asked for written prescriptions so I could get them somewhere else. Dr. Oba prescribed Prednisolone tablets, which turned out to be difficult and very expensive to find. Costco quoted me $379, CVS $136, and Walmart $247. Chewy was the cheapest, but I would have to mail them the written prescription and then wait for it to ship, which could take a week or more. I called and asked if Dr. Oba could switch it to the more affordable Prednisone after several pharmacies and veterinary providers suggested I ask whether it could be substituted. She refused. I had already provided the clinic with my cat's recent lab results before the exam, so she had his medical information. He just started feeling itchy and biting his tail about a month ago and his primary vet doesn't have available appt till end of August. At that point, it honestly felt like Dr. Oba was giving me a hard time because I declined their $430-$450 estimate and chose to get the medications elsewhere. And $180 for Revolution? Come on. Most cat owners know what flea treatments normally cost. What makes me sad is that we bring our animals to a veterinarian because we trust them. We're worried about our pets, and we expect someone who chose this profession to help us care for them, not to pressure us into paying whatever price is put in front of us. I left feeling like money mattered more than helping my cat. That's what bothered me most. I wasn't looking for free treatment. I was willing to pay for $101 ($89+12) for shaving his tail. I just affordable options so I could continue treating him. We go to the vet because we love our pets and trust them to help. Leaving there feeling like my worry for my cat was just a way for them to make a quick buck was really sad and disappointing.

Dr. Sondhi has an incredible bedside manner with pets and a thoughtful, strategic and well informed approach to care. He takes the time to look at the full picture and guide you with clarity and confidence, which means so much as a pet parent. We had a sudden medical emergency with our dog Winnie a couple of weeks ago, and the team got us in immediately. A special thank you to Dr Sondhi and to Dr Rose and Vet Tech Natalia who acted quickly, cared for Winnie with such gentleness, and brought a sense of reassurance during a really scary moment. We will never forget that. Their new office is beautiful, modern, and equipped with top-notch amenities. The front desk team is also so kind and welcoming--it makes every visit feel a little easier. We feel very lucky to have found this team--highly recommend them to any pet parent looking for top notch vet care in the area.

I called the office they were able to get me in in two hours no up charge for an urgent visit. Doctor came in offered to do her annual exam since I was paying for an exam anyway. It was extremely reasonable probably saved me 500 over going to an urgent care. Didn't try to upsell me on antibiotics or anything else. They took the claw off and I went home in 20 minutes. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. I love an honest vet
