Love their locally produced honey! I use it as a syrup substitute on bread/waffle/pancakes or as a sweetener on drinks. Yummy!

Delicious fresh pies! Great owner, being my first time here…read moreI had questions and he was super cool and patient, answering all my questions. Now for the options, they all sounded good and were hard to choose from! I like that they have specials of the month, seasonal, and mainstays. I choose one of monthly specials coconut pudding, and mainstay french silk. I also ordered the cheese burger hand pie for my husband, which he loved! The coconut pudding pie was sooo good, loved the texture and flavor, they had toasted coconut on the side to add on top. The fresh silk pie was my favorite! It was not overly chocolatey and had a nice mousse texture, there was an under layer of crisp ganache that made all the flavors and textures pop! The crust is nice and buttery and flakey. These were not heavy pies, just creamy light melt in your mouth. They also have frozen pies so you can take and bake yourself. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth, and will be back this time to order a whole pie!

Both the sweet and savory pies are delicious, and I like that they rotate their menu with a mix of classic and more unique flavors. It makes it fun to keep coming back and trying something new. Some of my favorites over time have been the chocolate chess, cheeseburger, and berry custard pies. All very different, but all really good in their own way. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for pie!! There are honestly not a lot of places around that you can get crafted pies from, so I think they fill a niche market here - a market that I am certainly a part of.

The allure from the parking lot was enough to have me convinced we struck gold. Once inside, the chic decor, table top games, custom neon signage, even Mocha's (owner) clean-cut swag assured me, my little one's intuition was 10/10. And THEN I got a load of the menu.... Mind blown! I went with a Belgian waffle as a base and piled on almond slices, pistachios, crumbled biscoff, marshmallows, whip cream, with that pistachio DRIP they're known for. The baby genius ordered a signature strawberry Dubai cup. We got a few games of the bar room hook game in and our orders came out. Thankfully, since the sweet aroma permeating that place was a tad unnerving. We admired the art they'd created long enough to pay our respects to the artists, and proceeded to DEVOUR our finds. Biggest salute to my man Mocha! Not only has he brought the delicious craft of Dubai to Newark, but he's done it with a stroke of genius and style all his own. See you guys soon! Mahalo nui loa

This spot is a must try! Bay Area's halal food scene was lacking a specialty dessert spot with…read morequality food and homely atmosphere. Drip dessert not only fills that gap, but goes well above and beyond! There were endless amounts of different dessert combinations, given that there was a huge variety of options, which could all be customized to one's preferences. We had got to try two of their desserts (waffle on a stick with chocolate sauce and oreos and chocolate chips + belgian waffle with white chocolate sauce and biscoff sauce with oreo crumbles) and one drink (mango noor). All of the food tasted amazing and was a very unique experience overall! Additionally, all the employees and the owner were very hospitable, they truly treated us as guests, not customers. The environment of the store was very upbringing, and they also have board games to make the experience more fun. Both my daughters are begging to go back! I can't wait, too!

I finally made it there and found the market to be quite small however it was perfect for me. I bought my fruits and veggies and when I turned to go to the next lane/aisle. I saw this Filipino booth with about half a dozen customers in line. I joined the line and watching what customers were ordering. It seemed like it was more stews and bbq sticks. I ended up with empanada bc they were small enough to enjoy while I finish my shopping. I am picky with my empanada, because I have had some that are mostly all bread or dough. However, I was pleasantly surprised they had flavor, and the outer dough was a little bit crispy and lightly doughy, but not over exaggerated so for me, I was pleasantly happy with the dough to meat ratio. The meat which I later found out was ground chicken was seasoned really well and it was moist. But keep in mind, they look small, but taste big :) So the next time I return, I will be sure to buy even more of the empanadas. If they sold them Unfried and frozen I would certainly like to buy a bag for my freezer for those moments that you just need a quick bite..
