Came here for a Filipino brunch buffet on a Sunday morning with my Chinoy friend. We parked in the main parking lot of the shopping center, and enjoyed the air conditioning in here. The service was so nice, and Timog was clean and spacious and nicely furnished. We really enjoyed the Filipino breakfast items, and we were absolutely stuffed when by the time we left.

One if the best Filipino restaurant in bay-area. Food was amazing and you can taste the quality. Ambiance is elegant! Clean! A place you can take someone on a date. The owner is very friendly and inviting! Definitely check out this place you won't regret it!

Delicious Filipino food with a twist. Think of it as fusion. They have their own spin on different well known Filipino dishes. Loved the Bangus Sisig and Sizzling Tofu. Their Crispy Pata was huge. Their halo halo...super sized. Will definitely be back. Owner was so sweet and gave great recommendations on the food. Lucky enough to have her be my waitress as well. Prices are acceptable. Clean inside with a nice wall mural. Had a lovely lunch here. Restaurant is in a plaza with Lion Supermarket as the anchor store.

Finally came back after about a year. Definitely should've came back sooner! They made a couple of changes, I believe the buffet is now only on the weekends. One thing that hasn't changed is the friendly staff. Things were a little slow in the beginning because there was only 1 server for the whole restaurant (maybe only 4-5 parties but 1 was a big party). However, midway through, the server had more help and things were picking up. I forgot to mention in my other review that the restaurant is quite small and holds up to 62. But the place is still so beautifully decorated and cute. They even had live music on Friday night. The food was overall delicious. I highly recommend the squid ink pansit if it's available! Very good flavors and the pansit is not too wet. Other highlights were the beef pares and tuna/grilled pork belly kilawin.

Went on a Sunday night at 6 with my boyfriend and there was inly one other party. We were and seated served qucikly all by one server. The ambiance is very aesthetic and inviting. The lighting is not too bright. We ordered the lechon kawali and it was warm and skin was crunchy. It was served with a mix of meat and fat. The pork sisig was just average, nothing too special in my opinion. We want to go back to go back to try their Sunday lunch buffet.

Cute little restaurant, but the food left something to be desired (and the low ceiling, live music, and large groups made it uncomfortably loud in there). We tried their pork sisig, kare kare volcano, bbq chicken, and the crispy palabok. Everything just lacked flavor and the bbq chicken was actually our favorite which is what we got for the kid in our group. They use a lesser cut of pork for the sisig which has a lot more cartilage which was not our favorite. The girl singing was lovely to listen to and very talented (although, again...it was pretty loud in there...)

LENT 2026: SIXTH FRIDAY - FRIED BANGUS CON ENSALADA On the last Friday of March I came here for lunch. Using my GPS I had difficulty finding this place. After parking I went around the building and entered a hallway. I was then able to find Timog. During this Lent season Timog was one of the places I wanted to eat on Fridays. The reason is the fried bangus with salad. One thing I noticed in Filipino cuisines fried fish are sometimes served with a salad, which consists chopped tomatoes and onions. The one ingredient that was unique with this salad includes cucumber. I asked my server if I should get the steamed rice or garlic rice with the fried bangus. My server recommended garlic rice. At Timog the meat of the bangus is moist. Most of the bangus I've eaten at Filipino eateries tend to be dry and jerky. Having the meat of the bangus moists is a good sign. Another exceptional quality of the bangus at Timog is the crispy skin. I love crispy skin on a fish whether the fish is grilled or deep-fried. Of course you can't have bangus without the fatty belly, which I was happy to eat. At Timgo there is one negative about the bangus it was bland. I didn't taste any salt or seasoning on the bangus. The garlic rice added flavor to the bangus. I did like the salad on top of the bangus. I'm glad I came to Timog during Lent Friday to eat the fried bangus with salad.

Located in a predominantly Asian shopping plaza, catering to mostly Chinese and Vietnamese. Timog adds an element of diversity to the area. The ambiance is simple but inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive. The variety of dishes are flavorful and very comparable to authentic home-cooked styles The dessert menu is outstanding, offering a great variety of sweet treats to end your meal on a high note!

Timog is a beautiful Filipino restaurant located inside Lion Market. The menu is easy to order from, and the food was authentic and delicious! Dishes were a good size so that we had leftovers to take home. Caleb, our solo server, took great care of us. I'd go again to try the buffet only on Sundays.

All right this is my review for Timog catering services. all in all it was very, very good. I ordered the grilled chicken which was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char and the flavor was great. The marinade was wonderful. I also ordered Kaldareta which was absolutely fantastic full of meat just packed with meat. The gravy was wonderful and it had some carrots and it, was wonderful. I also ordered a Lechon, which was very beautiful size. They look very close to her back home Filipino Lechon, in the country that is.it was very good. The only thing is that I wish you would've let it set for the whole time that it was supposed to rest before we took it home because the skin would've been a lot more crispier. Regardless of a customer is sitting there waiting for their catering food. Make an appointment for you guys to just make the customer wait and let the lechon rest like it supposed to. They size the cooking process. The rest and process is good but we took it home and I'm sure we cut it a little bit too early before it rested, but it still was that very good product which was awesome that was almost my favorite thing in the whole order. Overall, we give it a four star rating. My family was very pleased and the results were wonderful. Overall, we will give it four stars. We can't give you five because the lechon was not fully rested. don't worry though you can probably redeem yourself on my birthday, so we'll be back in September.

Came in on a Friday night and there was live music. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly. I wish I could give this place more stars. Maybe I just had high hopes for their unique menu items. For 3 items and a side of rice our total was roughly $90. We got the karekare, palabok, and bangus sisig. The karekare was a large crispy patta pork hock that had the sauce poured over it when they brought it to the table. The flavor was bland, and I felt like it needed salt. I did however enjoy the crispiness of the pork. But the sauce just didn't cut it for me. The palabok also had the same aesthetic. They deep fried the noodles to make it crispy and pour the sauce over top and mix everything for you table side. Again the flavor there was also lacking, not sure if it needed more anatto or tinapa flavor, but it fell short for me as well. The dish that I did thoroughly enjoy was the bangus sisig. Perfect amount of salt, tang, and creaminess. It was missing jalapeños for me, but since the rest of the flavor was there, I over looked it. I'd definitely order this again.

Filipino food with a modern twist! This spot is located inside the Lion Market Shopping Center, and growing up in the area, I never even knew! It was a nice hidden discovery, and the inside surprised me even more. I looooved the decor!  Food was delicious and very flavorful, reminding me of home cooking. I will be honest, my adobo was a little oilier than I was used to, but maybe I just have a weak stomach lol. I definitely want to come back to try their other dishes though, it was hard not to order everything on the menu during our visit haha.  They also have an AYCE Brunch Buffet on Sundays from 11am-3pm and Live Music on Friday/Saturday nights (think laid back, acoustic vibes) What we ordered: * Adobo (Pork & Chicken w/ Egg) * BBQ Pork * Pares ni Enteng * Garlic Rice * Tamarindo Tango

The restaurant is located inside an Asian grocery complex. We've always been curious about the hype, especially since we often see it featured on reels. As a Filipina who loves to eat and takes pride in Filipino cuisine, I have to be honest -- I found the experience a bit underwhelming. Of all the dishes we tried, the palabok stood out as our favorite and would be the only reason we'd consider coming back. Unfortunately, everything else we ordered felt subpar and lacked that "wow" factor, especially considering the price point. The quality just didn't match the cost. What really threw me off was the wait time. While a 30-40 minute wait would've been understandable, we ended up waiting nearly an hour after placing our order, which was definitely a letdown. Would I come back? Yes, but mostly for the palabok. Is it a place I'll crave or go out of my way to revisit? Honestly, probably not. Place is clean and nicely decorated for sure; bathrooms were spotless.

    Do you offer catering services?

Yes we can depending on the location.

As of today 12/26/25, do they continue to offer weekend buffets? I don’t see the info on the website.

Yes only on Sundays, 11am-3pm. Reservations are only from 11am-1130am then walk-ins only thereafter.

Hi there, how do we make Reservations on line?

Hi, I think you can just call them to make a reservation. I do not think they have a system set up for online reservations. I hope this helps.

Is there buffet on weekdays? If so, how much?

Buffet brunch is only on weekends, 11am - 3pm.

Do u take reservations on the weekend?

Yes we do. However during. Buffet hours we only take reservations between 11am to 1130am. It’s all walk in after that period.

Hi. Is there msg in the food? Thank you.

We do not put msg or magic sarap on any of our dishes.

Is the buffet option still available today?

Buffet is only served on the Saturdays and Sundays, 11am-3pm.

How much is the lunch buffet and what type of food is included?

All other options I found to be rather mediocre and not worth getting again. Perhaps they were short-staffed when we arrived but it was hard to find a server to request anything. They were all in the back and only came out to bring out the food. We waited too long to ask for containers or the check. 20% gratuity was automatically applied and the total came out to almost $500. It had been about a year since I last visited, and I was glad to see that prices hadn't changed at all. The highlight here for me has always been their lumpia--or at least, it used to be. It was once fried to golden perfection, with just the right amount of loose wrapper that gave extra-crispy edges (if you know, you know). Looking back at older photos, the lumpia had a noticeably deeper golden-brown hue compared to the lighter version I received this time, as well as seemed a bit longer in size. This made me sad; but it was still good, just no longer exceptional. In addition, the broasted chicken has always been just decent; the skin is great but the meat on the inside is always a bit dry and definitely requires some gravy or sauce to dip it in. Despite the lumpia switch-up, prices are still unbeatable for the bay, so I'd come back. I did notice that they seemed to have a new cook in the back, so here's to hoping that next time, the lumpia reverts back to the way it was!

It was warm and the flavor was good. Roast duck also good. LOVE that it came with all that juice!!! So happy to have found a good roast duck/pork spot nearby with excellent service!

If you just tell them what roast items you want and walk away, they will not use fresh (daily made) items, and they will skim you. I ordered a duck and 1lb of roast pork, and walk away to order other dim sum items in the front. My duck was ready so quickly that I didn't hear cutting sound. At the cashier, I noticed the roast pork box has "20" on it. I know that means price, but 1lb of roast pork should be around $13.95, and their response was "I give you a little bit more". You call "half-lb" just a little more?! When I get home, my wife who is Cantonese, ask why the duck is not fresh today? She said the color is lighter than usual and tastes kind of stale. I realize when you are not watching by the window, they don't use the fresh duck hanging out front. The lighter color one we got was probably a bad one that didn't made right or even old one that didn't get sold out for more than a day. I feel they are extra nice and caring (tone of voice) to Cantonese customers. LENT 2025: THIRD FRIDAY…read more The previous Friday I ate at a Filipino restaurant for lunch with mixed results. I ordered a crab fried rice, which didn't have crab at all. I was planning to go San Leandro for lunch this past Friday for bangsilog. When I was driving to San Leandro, Highway 880 was so busy due to traffic I decided to come to Adobolicious at the last minute. With the name of the restaurant you might not think this restaurant serves seafood or fish. I looked at photos and noticed seafood dishes like bangsilog. When I came Adobolicious at the last minute I wasn't setting great expectations. I was thinking about getting appetizers, but I decided just to order bangsilog. A deboned bangus in my opinion the only way to eat that fish because there are so many little bones that are inedible. However most of fried, deboned bangus I ate tend to be jerky. The fried bangus I ate at Adobolicious was better than I expected. The meat was moist. The reason was the bangus as stated on the menu is marinated. Even though the breading was light the breading was crispy. Most of all there wasn't a jerky texture from the bangus at Adobolicious as compared to other bangus I ate from other places. If I had to be nitpicky is there are scales on the bangus. I guess that is a traditional preference to make the skin crispy, but I believe the skin of the bangus could maintain its crispiness with the breading. One note about Adobolicious is credit card or debit card isn't accepted for payments. This restaurant accepts cash or Venmo. I know the bangus I ate at Adobolicious isn't the best I ever had however it is better than most bangus I ate at other restaurants.

We tasted a little bit, and it had a bitter taste. Tried to call the restaurant, but I guess it's closed already. I will try to call tomorrow to tell them about it.
